Chapter Index

When Kushina lifted the cover, something magical happened; a red light emanated the moment the cover was removed.

But when Kushina and Minato looked closely, there seemed to be no light, only the excessively vibrant red color of the dish.

Looking at the bright red Mapo Tofu, Kushina swallowed hard and said, “Muzuki, you didn’t say to put so much spice! It looks so spicy!”

She had originally thought Muzuki would just add one extra chili, but looking at the color of the Mapo Tofu, Kushina felt the entire dish was dominated by spiciness.

“This dish is indeed a bit spicy, but it’s not just spicy; it also has several other flavors like fragrant, hot, crispy, and numbing,” Muzuki explained.

Minato, hearing Muzuki say there were so many flavors, immediately picked up a spoon and scooped a portion into his mouth.

“Spicy!” Minato’s first sensation after eating the Mapo Tofu was an indescribable spiciness; he felt Muzuki’s ‘a bit spicy’ was ‘especially spicy’ for him.

The spiciness made Minato feel as if he had been transported to a world full of flames, with fire erupting everywhere, intensely hot.

However, Mapo Tofu was not just spicy; soon, multiple flavors exploded in Minato’s mouth, immersing him in the deliciousness.

    “Delicious!” Minato praised earnestly.

After speaking, Minato quickly scooped several more spoonfuls of tofu into his bowl to continue savoring it.

Seeing Minato eat so eagerly, Kushina knew the dish must be very good, so she also took a bite.

It was indeed very numbing and spicy, but also very fragrant, and Kushina even tasted meat in it.

“It really is delicious!” Kushina also quickly scooped several spoonfuls of tofu with her spoon.

Although it was very spicy, it was simply too delicious, and Kushina simply couldn’t control her hands.

After the meal, the wonderfully magical Mapo Tofu became the topic of conversation.

When Muzuki stated the ingredients needed for the Magical Mapo Tofu, Kushina asked, “Muzuki, did you forget an ingredient? Wasn’t there meat?”

Kushina remembered tasting meat in it.

“There’s no meat in the ingredients,” Muzuki stated firmly.

“But I clearly tasted something that seemed like meat,” Kushina said, somewhat puzzled.

“I tasted it too,” Minato nodded.

“The taste is meat, but it’s not actually meat; it’s processed soybeans,” Muzuki explained, telling them the principle behind it.

“That’s incredible, that soybeans can be made to taste like this!” Kushina found it very amazing.

Minato also felt that Muzuki’s cooking skills were truly unheard of and unseen; soybeans could even be made to taste like meat.

Because he still had to help his disciples train, Muzuki quickly bid farewell to Minato and Kushina, stating that he would let them observe the cooking process another time.

Upon arriving at the South Border Forest, Muzuki routinely helped his disciples train.

Shisui was cultivating Phoenix Sage Flower Claw Crimson, Might Guy was exercising his physique and familiarizing himself with the use of Shave, while Obito continued to strive towards mastering Shave.

When the training time was almost up, Obito asked Muzuki, “Muzuki-sensei, how can I teach Ninjutsu to others?”

“Why are you asking this? Who do you want to teach?” Muzuki asked.

“My good friend, Rin Nohara, also participated in the summer special training, she’s in Group B,” Obito told Muzuki what had happened today.

“I feel like I explained it quite clearly, but Rin still doesn’t understand,” Obito sighed.

Muzuki was a bit speechless; based on Obito’s description, he felt Obito’s teaching level was similar to Naruto’s, teaching Ninjutsu was almost equivalent to letting the other party take a look and then develop it themselves.

Muzuki did indeed possess knowledge on how to be a qualified teacher, as he was a normal school student, and this was his profession.

However, given Obito’s current performance, Muzuki felt that giving these to Obito would probably be useless.

“You should first master Ninjutsu yourself,” Muzuki tapped Obito’s head with two fingers.

“Is it possible that even the all-powerful Muzuki-sensei has no solution this time?” Obito lowered his head, a little disappointed.

However, Obito quickly thought of another good idea; if he couldn’t teach Rin Nohara, and Muzuki couldn’t make him good at teaching, then why not just have Muzuki teach Rin Nohara directly?

“Muzuki-sensei, Rin’s grades aren’t very good either; I think she urgently needs your guidance, Muzuki-sensei,” Obito recommended to Muzuki.

Hearing Obito’s words, Muzuki fell into thought.

Currently, the system only had four disciple slots, leaving only one empty; giving it to Rin Nohara was clearly impossible.

However, he could just be a real-life disciple without confirming it in the system.

Muzuki thought for a moment; teaching Rin Nohara had two benefits.

One was that it could better motivate Obito to train hard, and the other was an opportunity to trick Kakashi into becoming a disciple.

Kakashi also had S-rank potential and was already on the path of rapid growth, making him a good choice.

“Then you go and talk to Rin Nohara; if she’s willing to come and learn from me, then she can come,” Muzuki said.

Hearing Muzuki agree, Obito immediately cheered.

He had only tried with a tentative mindset, after all, he couldn’t force Muzuki to teach Rin Nohara.

“As expected, Muzuki-sensei is all-powerful!” Obito said excitedly.

Just thinking about being able to train with Rin Nohara in the future, Obito was overjoyed.

He was already impatient to fast-forward time to tomorrow and tell Rin Nohara the good news.

The next day, Ebisu went to the Training Ground as usual in the morning, ready to undergo special training.

“Why does it feel like everyone is looking at me?” Ebisu muttered, feeling the gazes from all around.

He had received a lot of attention last time when he was the only one on the promotion list, but yesterday his performance in Group A was not good, so there was no reason for him to attract everyone’s attention.

After all, he had just been promoted, so it was reasonable that he couldn’t beat those from the original Group A.

“Ebisu, I didn’t expect you to look so proper on the surface, but play so big behind the scenes,” Shiranui Genma said, punching Ebisu’s chest.

They were both students from Class 4, Group 6, and had a good relationship.

Ebisu, hearing Shiranui Genma’s words, instinctively felt something was amiss, even though he didn’t know what had happened.

“If you’re free at noon, let me see that Enemy Confusion Technique too; I want to challenge my weakness,” Shiranui Genma said jokingly.

“Enemy Confusion Technique?” Ebisu vaguely guessed what had happened, and his heart sank immediately.

“Stop pretending; do we need to pretend between us? Besides, it’s spread throughout all three groups now, so there’s no point in continuing to pretend.”

“It’s just developing a more adult Ninjutsu, just admit it boldly,” Shiranui Genma said.

“Adult Ninjutsu, everyone in all three groups knows it…” Ebisu, who had guessed what happened, immediately saw black and nearly fainted.

“It really wasn’t me who developed it! I just made a suggestion!” Ebisu felt his Ninja Academy career was already waving goodbye to him.

One more chapter will be a bit late.
