Chapter Index

    Boom!!

A huge sonic boom erupted, and the aftermath of the collision of their fists stirred up the mud and sand on the ground, pressing it outwards in all directions. The ground beneath their feet gradually began to crack under the immense force.

Fourth Raikage Ay felt the power coming from his arm, and his previously relaxed and unconcerned expression became somewhat solemn.

    Bang!!

Fourth Raikage Ay, who had thrown a hasty punch, failed to withstand Muzuki’s strike and was rapidly pushed back more than ten meters by the powerful force.

“Such strength and speed, could he be a hidden strong individual from Sunagakure?” Fourth Raikage Ay said with a slight frown.

The Kumogakure shinobi who had arrived just in time witnessed Fourth Raikage Ay being repelled by Muzuki’s punch.

Killer Bee saw his older brother get knocked back over ten meters by a single punch, his eyes wide and mouth agape, an expression of disbelief on his face.

“My brother actually lost in a taijutsu exchange?” Killer Bee rubbed his eyes, feeling as if he had fallen under a genjutsu.

This was his brother, the son of the Third Raikage, who had mastered the incredibly powerful Lightning Release Chakra Mode and had already been designated as the next Raikage!

“Everyone, be careful, this guy has very strong Chakra!” As Muzuki no longer used Transparent World to conceal himself, Motomu also sensed the powerful Chakra emanating from Muzuki.

“You guys go first, I’ll find you later,” Muzuki quickly said to Obito and the others.

Given Obito and their current strength, fighting on the same battlefield as him was too dangerous. Muzuki decided to split into two battlefields, blocking the opponents that Obito and his team couldn’t defeat even with a burst of power, leaving the rest for Obito and his team to handle. If Obito and his team failed to defeat their opponents, Muzuki would directly unleash his full power and take them to escape.

“Teacher, I want to fight with you.” Due to Fourth Raikage Ay’s initial performance, Obito also knew that this enemy was not simple, and he didn’t want Muzuki to face the strong enemy alone.

“That’s right, how can the fiery youth retreat!” Might Guy said with a resolute expression, also wanting to fight alongside Muzuki.

Although Kakashi didn’t speak, he silently drew the White Fang Short Blade from his back, ready to fight at any moment.

Muzuki stroked their heads and said with a smile, “I’m very happy you have this intention, but this isn’t escaping or retreating, it’s a strategy.”

“This enemy is very strong, and it will be difficult for me to look after you in battle with him. I will block most of the enemies, and there might be a small portion of enemies chasing you, which will also relieve some of my pressure.”

“Everyone, listen up, there is only one mission: not to eliminate the enemy, not to gather intelligence, but to survive!”

Muzuki said with a serious and solemn expression.

Just as Muzuki was arranging the next steps for his disciples, Fourth Raikage Ay stopped Berkeley, who was drawing his sword and about to charge forward.

“This person is very strong, none of you are his match, let me and Bee handle him,” Fourth Raikage Ay said domineeringly, dusting himself off.

Berkeley obediently stopped. Although he was older than Fourth Raikage Ay, Fourth Raikage Ay’s strength and status far surpassed his.

“Don’t worry about me, although the enemy is strong, I am not weak either.” Muzuki patted Obito’s shoulder and said with a gentle smile.

“Let’s go, we’ll only be a burden to Teacher here,” Kakashi said calmly.

The speed the enemy displayed was too terrifying. If they were caught in battle and used to threaten Muzuki, then Muzuki would be in a difficult situation.

Obito was not indecisive; he was just a bit stubborn. He quickly realized that he might become a burden to Muzuki, silently prayed for Muzuki in his heart, and then ran towards the forest with Kakashi and Might Guy.

They might become Muzuki’s weakness here; leaving, on the other hand, could attract some firepower and reduce Muzuki’s pressure.

“Become stronger, I must become even stronger. Next time, I will never turn my back on Teacher Muzuki in such a pathetic way,” Obito clenched his fists, full of unwillingness.

Muzuki didn’t care about his ‘dead last’ reputation, taking him in as a disciple and teaching him meticulously. Because of his request, Muzuki remade the training plan, helping him win first place in the Youth Ninjutsu Competition, allowing him to be on equal footing with Kakashi for the first time.

When his training state wasn’t good, Muzuki never reprimanded him, but patiently comforted and encouraged him, making him surpass himself again and again, eventually transforming from a ‘dead last’ to the top of the Ninja Academy. Even Kakashi, a genius who was once out of reach, became within his grasp, with transcendence right before his eyes.

To such a kind teacher, facing a strong enemy now, he could only be a burden. Obito was truly unwilling.

At this moment, he yearned for strength more than anything. He hated himself for not using all the time he could have spent cultivating, thinking that perhaps then he could have helped Teacher Muzuki more.

Might Guy’s face had lost its usual optimism, and his emotional eyes were already uncontrollably shedding tears.

“If, if my Eight Gates could open the Eighth Gate, if my Breathing Technique could reach the level of activating the Mark, I would definitely be able to help Teacher Muzuki defeat these enemies!” Might Guy hated his powerlessness.

The more warm daily memories he had with Muzuki in his mind, the more his heart ached at this moment.

Muzuki’s smile when he wolfed down food, Muzuki’s heartfelt praise when his Breathing Technique improved, and the trusting words still echoing in his ears, all turned into sharp blades piercing his body, stimulating his nerves.

    Bang!

Might Guy, while running, couldn’t help but punch a nearby large tree, and the immense force directly broke the tree.

“Perhaps I really do bring misfortune, as they say,” Kakashi’s eyes were somewhat dim.

That teacher who would guide students when they were unhappy, who would quietly prepare a lavish breakfast in the morning, who would unreservedly teach students various powerful Ninjutsu and secret techniques, that mysterious, powerful, always warmly smiling Muzuki might be sacrificing himself.

Kakashi was the most pessimistic of the three. Even the immensely strong Teacher Muzuki had given the command to just survive, which meant the enemy was truly powerful.

“You go after those few, don’t let them escape,” Fourth Raikage Ay said to Berkeley, watching Kakashi and the others run into the forest.

“Follow me,” Berkeley shouted to a Chunin.

Then, Fourth Raikage Ay rubbed his fists and stepped forward, ready to have a good rematch with Muzuki, and also to prevent Muzuki from critically striking and killing Berkeley.

“Tell me your name, with your strength, you shouldn’t be an unknown,” Fourth Raikage Ay asked, not attacking directly.

    “Aizen,” Muzuki replied calmly.

He was using the Transformation Technique, so of course he had to hide his identity. How could he actively report his real name?

“Aizen?” Fourth Raikage Ay thought carefully for a moment, then realized he had indeed never heard of a strong individual named Aizen.

“I underestimated you just now, but it will be different next time.” Fourth Raikage Ay didn’t dwell on the name, gathering his strength and preparing to attack.

Let me explain what happened with the cliffhanger yesterday. You can check the update time of that chapter, it was 1:30 AM.

Actually, yesterday I originally planned to just update two chapters, because this plot definitely couldn’t be written much in two or three thousand words. But a reader said he didn’t have much time left to live and wanted to read a few more chapters. I didn’t know if it was true or not, so I stayed up until 1:30 AM to rush out a chapter. Actually, my condition was already very poor yesterday; I only wrote four thousand words in an entire afternoon and evening. By 1:30 AM, my head was really spinning, so I just published it when it reached two thousand words.

Also, I want to ask that reader here if you were joking. If it’s true, I will try to write more in the next few days to satisfy you. If it’s false, please don’t make such jokes in the future. Seeing it in the backend was truly a bit scary.

I originally wanted to write a long chapter, but too many people were scolding me in the backend, so I’ll post this first to explain.

I mentioned before that I’ve been having trouble sleeping recently due to some reasons and my mental state hasn’t been good. Waking up this morning and seeing the comments really made me feel exhausted. I wish I hadn’t stayed up that night.
