Chapter Index

“Naruto, how are you? Are you alright?” Sakura Haruno asked, shaking the unconscious Uzumaki Naruto.

Hearing his teammate’s call, Uzumaki Naruto opened his eyes, somewhat bewildered. What greeted him was a worried Sakura Haruno and Sai.

“Sakura, are you two alright?” Uzumaki Naruto asked, concerned, seeing his two teammates whom he hadn’t seen in a long time.

“You idiot, what could happen to us? You and Yamato-taichou were the ones caught in the Ryūmyaku energy,” Sakura Haruno complained, rubbing her forehead helplessly.

Sakura Haruno quickly checked Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato and, finding them perfectly healthy, she relaxed.

Uzumaki Naruto scratched his head and chuckled, “Sakura, you must have been very impatient waiting, right? Hundred Feet has been defeated, we can go back.”

Uzumaki Naruto was a bit embarrassed. They had eaten and played in Rōran, while Sakura Haruno and Sai could only wait in the ruins here.

Sakura Haruno crossed her arms, looking displeased. “Am I that impatient in your eyes? Can’t wait a few minutes?”

“A few minutes?” Uzumaki Naruto froze, then looked at Yamato. He remembered staying in Rōran for a month.

Yamato was also very puzzled and immediately asked Sakura Haruno to explain the Hundred Feet pursuit mission from her perspective.

“You and Hundred Feet were enveloped by the Ryūmyaku energy. I was almost affected too, but luckily Sai rescued me in time. A few minutes later, the energy receded, and I only saw you two lying on the ground,” Sakura Haruno replied.

Sai nodded, indicating that what Sakura Haruno said was entirely accurate.

“Naruto, what do you mean Hundred Feet was defeated? I don’t see anyone,” Sakura Haruno was also very confused.

Uzumaki Naruto ran his hands through his hair, not knowing how to explain it for a moment, and not understanding what was going on.

Yamato pondered for a while, also unable to grasp the principle. He instinctively reached into his Ninja tool pouch and pulled out a Kunai with a ‘Sensei’ character on it.

Immediately after, Yamato tried to enter the Water Breathing state, and there was no problem.

“Mu Yue, senior’s Flying Thunder God Kunai is still in my Ninja tool pouch, and Water Breathing can also be used. It’s not an illusion,” Yamato confirmed in his heart that this strange journey was real.

“Naruto and I have already defeated Hundred Feet together. Mission accomplished, return to Konoha immediately!” Yamato thought for a moment and said.

Time travel was truly incredible. Not only would saying it make him seem mentally unstable, but it might also attract unscrupulous individuals to research Ryūmyaku power for criminal purposes. So, Yamato decided not to explain for now and return to Konoha to assess the situation.

After speaking, Yamato immediately pulled Naruto aside and gave him a reminder.

Although Sakura Haruno was a bit confused, Yamato was the team leader after all, so she didn’t ask any more questions.

“I wonder if Kakashi-sensei and the others succeeded?” Uzumaki Naruto felt a bit uneasy.

Before returning, Uzumaki Naruto was prepared to disappear due to changing history. He was very happy to be alive and well, but he was also a little worried that Kakashi, Obito, and the others had failed.

Yamato was equally curious about this, but his mind worked faster than Uzumaki Naruto’s, and he began to probe Sakura Haruno and Sai.

He and Uzumaki Naruto had traveled through time, but Sakura Haruno and Sai had not. If history had changed, then their memories should have changed accordingly.

“Sakura, do you know a Ninja named Hayate Mugetsu?” Yamato probed on the way back.

Sakura Haruno pondered, then shook her head. “I’ve never heard that name. Is he a very famous Ninja?”

Yamato and Uzumaki Naruto’s hearts sank. Yamato took a deep breath and looked at Sai. “What about you, Sai?”

“No.” Sai also shook his head.

“Is Granny Tsunade still the Hokage now?” Uzumaki Naruto couldn’t help but ask.

If his father hadn’t died, logically, the current Hokage should still be Minato Namikaze.

“Idiot Naruto, what nonsense are you talking about? If Lady Tsunade isn’t the Hokage, then who is?” Sakura Haruno retorted. She felt that Uzumaki Naruto was acting a bit strange.

“What about Ero-Sennin?” Uzumaki Naruto continued to ask.

    “Naruto, I know you’re sad, but he’s already…”

After hearing Sakura Haruno’s words, Naruto instantly looked crestfallen, his eyes filled with a sense of bewilderment.

He felt like their time travel had been in vain. Nothing had changed. Senpai Muzuki and his father had still passed away, Jiraiya still hadn’t survived, and he didn’t know what had happened to Obito and Rin Nohara.

Seeing Uzumaki Naruto like this, Sakura Haruno reflected on her previous words and found that she hadn’t said anything harsh.

“Naruto, what’s wrong? You seem very strange,” Sakura Haruno asked.

Uzumaki Naruto remained silent, not answering Sakura Haruno’s question.

Faced with such an Uzumaki Naruto, Sakura Haruno was a bit annoyed. Just as she was about to say something, Yamato stopped her.

“Focus on the road, and get back to Konoha as soon as possible,” Yamato said in a deep voice. He didn’t blame Sakura Haruno, as she knew nothing, but Yamato couldn’t watch Sakura Haruno hurt Naruto with her ignorance.

Sakura Haruno nodded and burst forth with Chakra, rushing at full speed.

Yamato walked over to Uzumaki Naruto, patted his shoulder, and comforted him, “Let’s go back to Konoha first and see. Perhaps because history changed, Minato-sama couldn’t become Hokage.”

Uzumaki Naruto took out the photo Obito had taken of him and Minato Namikaze, nodded heavily, and rushed at full speed.

Actually, to confirm the answer to this question, he didn’t need to return to Konoha; he just needed to ask Sakura Haruno who the Fourth Hokage was. But Yamato didn’t say it; he hoped that during the journey, time would wear away some of Uzumaki Naruto’s sadness.

The four of them were not ordinary Ninja. With them rushing at full speed, they quickly returned to Konoha.

Konoha’s Hokage Monument was located on the cliff behind Konoha. The giant Hokage Monument could be seen from anywhere in Konoha.

Yamato used to like this point very much. He could just look up and see those great Ninja who fought for Konoha. Now, he felt that being too conspicuous was not a good thing.

Looking at the giant Minato Namikaze monument, Uzumaki Naruto’s eyes dimmed. They really hadn’t changed anything.

Uzumaki Naruto felt a little guilty. If he had known more, perhaps Kakashi and the others would have succeeded.

Yamato hesitated, not knowing how to comfort Naruto for a moment.

Actually, Yamato’s mood was also very complicated right now. At first, Yamato didn’t want to change history, worried that changing history would lead to the destruction of Konoha or major changes in the Ninja World.

As he spent time with Muzuki and the others, and as Minato Namikaze and Uzumaki Naruto recognized each other, Yamato also felt that changing the future wasn’t bad. If the Konoha of the new history had Muzuki and Minato Namikaze, then Konoha would definitely not be worse than it was now.

Yamato had no choice but to disband the team first, then he and Uzumaki Naruto went to find Kakashi, hoping to get some information from Kakashi.

“The mission went very smoothly, you’re back so soon,” Kakashi briefly took his gaze off the book in his hand and looked at Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato.

With that look, Kakashi noticed that Uzumaki Naruto’s emotions were a bit off. He closed the Icha Icha Paradise in his hand and looked at Uzumaki Naruto.

“Kakashi-senpai, do you know Uchiha Obito and Rin Nohara?” Yamato asked.

Hearing these two names, long-sealed memories were reopened, and the pupil of Kakashi’s exposed normal eye suddenly constricted.

Kakashi sighed and nodded. “They were my friends before. They sacrificed themselves during the Third Shinobi World War. Where did you hear those two names?”

Even after more than a decade, Kakashi still found it difficult to forget these two deceased old friends, often self-condemning internally.

Yamato looked astonished. He hadn’t expected Obito and Rin to die so early. Could it be that they sacrificed themselves together to save Muzuki?

“What about Senpai Muzuki? Did he also die during the Third Shinobi World War?” Uzumaki Naruto asked, staring at Kakashi after regaining his composure.

Meaningless sadness wasn’t his style. If he didn’t succeed once, he would go a second time. But before that, Uzumaki Naruto needed to figure out how Muzuki had died.

Yamato also looked at Kakashi. He felt that Muzuki’s death must be a crucial point, very likely the reason why history hadn’t changed.

“Senpai Muzuki? Which Muzuki? Who are you talking about?” Kakashi asked back after a moment of thought.

“Hayate Mugetsu! He’s your teacher, Kakashi-sensei, have you forgotten?” Uzumaki Naruto asked loudly, frowning.

No joke, Uzumaki Naruto wanted to punch Kakashi twice right now. How could he forget such an important person?

Uzumaki Naruto’s attitude made Kakashi feel a bit unsure of himself, but he recalled everyone who had taught him from childhood, and there was no Ninja named Hayate or Muzuki.

“Naruto, where did you hear that? I can tell you clearly, I don’t have a teacher named Hayate Mugetsu,” Kakashi replied, looking serious.

Kakashi’s expression seemed very serious, not at all like he was joking.

Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato exchanged glances, both looking shocked and confused.

“How could this be? Little Kakashi-sensei was so respectful of Senpai Muzuki,” Uzumaki Naruto’s eyes gradually became bewildered as he recalled everything he had experienced during his time travel.

Uzumaki Naruto truly didn’t understand what was going on. Even if Muzuki died in the Third Shinobi World War, Kakashi wouldn’t just forget him, would he? Kakashi still remembered Obito and Rin Nohara.

Yamato felt his brain wasn’t enough. The situation was completely different from what he had imagined. Not only had history not changed at all, but Kakashi’s reaction was also incredibly confused.

“Did something happen to you during this mission?” Kakashi asked, seeing the two acting strangely.

They had met not long ago, and Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato were both normal then, so it could only be that something went wrong with the mission.

“We were in Rōran pursuing the Sunagakure rogue Ninja Hundred Feet. Hundred Feet swallowed the Ryūmyaku Sealing, causing the Ryūmyaku power to go berserk, and then we traveled back in time to the past, where we met the past Kakashi-senpai, and your teammates and teacher…”

Yamato finally decided to tell Kakashi the whole story of the Rōran mission, hoping it would help clear his thoughts.

“Traveled back in time to the past, and even met a young me?” Kakashi frowned after hearing this.

Yamato’s words sounded very much like the content of a Ninja novel: traveling back in time to the past and meeting younger elders and past powerhouses.

But Kakashi could tell that Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato weren’t joking; they were talking about a real experience, or at least Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato believed they were.

“Is it possible that the Ryūmyaku energy has a hallucinatory effect, and everything that happened was your hallucination?” Kakashi thought for a moment and said.

Compared to time travel, Kakashi thought this was more plausible, after all, he didn’t know Hayate Mugetsu, and in his memory, he hadn’t met Yamato and Uzumaki Naruto in his youth.

“This also explains why you stayed there for a month, but in reality, only a few minutes passed, because everything was an illusion.”

Kakashi had some experience with this. He had once been caught in Uchiha Itachi’s Tsukuyomi, where he was continuously pierced by Ninja blades for seventy-two hours, but in reality, only an instant had passed.

“It can’t be an illusion. If it’s an illusion, then how do you explain this?” Uzumaki Naruto took out a photo of him and the Fourth Hokage and handed it to Kakashi.

Looking at the smiling Minato Namikaze and Uzumaki Naruto in the photo, Kakashi’s expression changed.

If it wasn’t time travel, this photo theoretically couldn’t exist, because the Minato Namikaze in the photo was only four or five years older than Uzumaki Naruto.

If one deliberately wanted to create such a photo, there were ways, like using the Transformation Technique, but the current situation clearly wasn’t that.

“Kakashi-senpai, that was definitely not an illusion. This is the Flying Thunder God Kunai that Senpai Muzuki gave me before the battle with Hundred Feet. Can an illusion create something out of nothing?”

Yamato took out the Kunai with the Flying Thunder God Mark from his Ninja tool pouch.

“Not only do I have a photo with my father, but Kakashi-sensei, you have one too.”

Uzumaki Naruto then took out more photos: a two-person photo of him and Obito, a photo of Muzuki, Minato, and their three disciples, and a group photo of everyone together.

“Obito, Rin…” Looking at his old friends in the photo, who were identical to his memories, Kakashi fell silent.

Especially the group photo of Muzuki, Minato, and their three disciples, which caused a flood of uncontrollable memories in Kakashi’s mind, leaving him unable to calm down for a long time.

“Besides the Flying Thunder God Kunai, I can also use the Ninjutsu that Senpai Muzuki taught me.” Saying this, Yamato demonstrated a perfect defensive Water Formation Wall and a highly destructive Water Severing Wave.

“Kakashi-sensei, do you really not remember someone named Senpai Muzuki?” Uzumaki Naruto asked again.

Kakashi shook his head. What Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato experienced wasn’t an illusion, but he truly didn’t know a Ninja named Hayate Mugetsu.

“If that Ninja named Hayate Mugetsu was truly as excellent as you say, and so similar to Minato-sensei, how could I possibly forget his existence?” Kakashi replied.

Now, he also couldn’t figure out what was going on.

“Tell me in detail about the young Kakashi you met. Tell me his age, Ninja rank, and all the Ninjutsu he used,” Kakashi said after careful consideration.

Memories related to Obito and Rin Nohara were distant, but he was very clear about what abilities he had at each stage of his life.

“He seemed to be ten years old, but he hadn’t had a birthday yet. In terms of Ninja rank, he was a Chunin. Although his Ninja rank was Chunin, his strength was already stronger than some Jonin. His incredibly sharp Lightning Release Sword Skill, when used with full power, was enough to instantly kill a regular Jonin. For Ninjutsu, he mainly used Lightning Release and Earth Release. There was a very powerful purple lightning-style Lightning Release that didn’t require hand seals…”

Yamato recalled all the details about the young Kakashi Hatake.

Kakashi was stunned. He could instantly kill a Jonin before he was ten years old? What kind of Lightning Release Sword Skill was that powerful? He was also Kakashi, so how could he not know?

At this point, Yamato asked the question he had in his heart, “Kakashi-sensei, your Lightning Release Sword Skill is so powerful, why don’t you use it now?”

    Kakashi: “…”

He didn’t even know what Yamato was talking about. Was that really him?

“The Kakashi you met, it wasn’t me,” Kakashi stated his conclusion.

“I’m not talking about the age, but he simply wasn’t me. Let alone ten years old, even if I became a Jonin at twelve, I didn’t have any technique that could guarantee an instant kill on a Jonin. And I don’t have any Lightning Release that is purple lightning.”

Not only were their strengths and Ninjutsu different, but Kakashi remembered that at that time, he was still withdrawn. The Kakashi Yamato described was a bit like his current self, just overly serious.

Uzumaki Naruto looked at the photo, then at Kakashi. “You’re saying this isn’t you?”

“Although he looks a lot like my past self, he’s really not me.”

Kakashi said with a decisive tone. Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato couldn’t possibly know Kakashi better than he did.

“You might not have traveled to the past, but rather to another world,” Kakashi stated his hypothesis.

“Although this world is extremely similar to ours, with Kakashi Hatake and Minato Namikaze, it is ultimately not the same world. That world has Hayate Mugetsu, and perhaps our world also has people that don’t exist in that world.”

Kakashi stood up, leaped onto a tree, and picked two leaves to show Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato.

“These two leaves look the same, but if you look closely, there are subtle differences in size, thickness, and shape. Perhaps the relationship between our two worlds is like these leaves, similar but not exactly the same.”

This was the most reasonable explanation Kakashi could come up with, one that perfectly resolved all the existing problems.

After listening to Kakashi, Yamato suddenly understood. Everything made sense now. They had told so many future events, yet history hadn’t changed at all, which was clearly unreasonable.

Uzumaki Naruto didn’t know how to describe his current emotions.

Good news: Obito and the others might not have failed. His father, Muzuki, and Jiraiya might all live to see the future.

Bad news: This future wasn’t their future. His father in this world, his Jiraiya-sensei in this world, would never come back.

Uzumaki Naruto truly envied the yet-to-be-born Uzumaki Naruto in the other world, because he might be born with things Uzumaki Naruto could never have.

“Little Kakashi-sensei, Obito, Rin, keep up the good work!” Uzumaki Naruto silently cheered for the other world’s Kakashi and his two teammates in his heart.

Although he was envious, Uzumaki Naruto still sincerely hoped that his other self wouldn’t be like him.

If his father were alive, and he had an elder like Muzuki, and an interesting big brother like Obito, then he would surely have a happy and very interesting childhood.

“Naruto is one thing, but Yamato, how could you be so reckless? Thankfully, we didn’t really go back to the past, otherwise your actions might have caused incalculable consequences,” Kakashi said as he casually threw the leaves to the ground.

Kakashi believed that changing history would lead to terrifying consequences. Yamato’s choice this time was too imprudent.

“I couldn’t help it. I really couldn’t refuse your pleading expression, Kakashi-sensei,” Yamato said jokingly, as if trying to push the blame onto Kakashi.

Kakashi raised an eyebrow. “Oh, really? Then I beg you, Yamato, to treat me and Naruto to a bowl of Ichiraku Ramen. No problem, right?”

He thought this should help alleviate some of the sadness in Uzumaki Naruto’s heart.

Yamato could only reluctantly agree, thinking to himself that the Kakashi-sensei from the other world was better, at least he wouldn’t make him pay.

“Let’s go, for ramen! Naruto, eat as much as you want, as many bowls as you want. Yamato has saved a lot of money, so don’t worry about him not being able to pay,” Kakashi said with a relaxed and happy smile, patting Uzumaki Naruto’s shoulder.

Yamato was shocked. Kakashi even knew he had saved money.

Uzumaki Naruto hadn’t eaten Ichiraku Ramen in a long time and missed it a bit, so he readily agreed.

But after a few bites of Ichiraku Ramen, Naruto found that Ichiraku Ramen seemed to have lost its deliciousness from his memory. The taste was far inferior to the ramen made by Muzuki, and it didn’t have the same emotional connection as his father’s ramen.

“Naruto, what’s wrong? Is today’s ramen not to your taste?” Teuchi noticed that Uzumaki Naruto’s state while eating ramen was different from usual, so he asked with concern.

Teuchi’s words reminded Uzumaki Naruto of the encouragement and support Teuchi had given him. During the days when the entire village ostracized Uzumaki Naruto, Teuchi was one of the few people who didn’t look at Uzumaki Naruto with strange eyes.

Uzumaki Naruto sped up his ramen eating. He quickly finished the bowl of ramen and then smiled, saying, “No, it’s still as delicious as ever!”

He would miss Muzuki and Minato Namikaze, and might even try to find a way to go back, but he would also cherish the present.

    … … … …

“As expected, it still doesn’t work.” After Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato left, Muzuki found that he couldn’t sense the Flying Thunder God Kunai on them anymore.

He tried to see if he could use Flying Thunder God to travel between the two worlds. If he succeeded, then there would be many choices for the fifth disciple slot, and it would be like having the resources of another world.

The result was clearly no, this was far beyond his sensory range.

Muzuki wasn’t too disappointed. He had considered this possibility, after all, world-traveling shouldn’t be that simple.

“I hope everything goes well for them,” Minato Namikaze said, sincerely wishing them well as he thought about Uzumaki Naruto’s life after returning.

“It will,” Muzuki said with a smile.

Uzumaki Naruto with Yang Release Breathing would only be stronger than in the original work.

“To prevent history from changing, I think we need to seal the memories of this Roran mission,” Minato Namikaze retracted his gaze and brought up the serious matter.

It was fine for future Ninja to know about the past, but if past Ninja knew about the future, then there would be a problem.

Upon hearing Minato’s words, Kakashi and his two teammates instantly became nervous. Although they had recorded some future events, if their memories were sealed, whether that information would be effective was unknown, and the success rate of changing the future would definitely be greatly reduced.

Obito frantically exchanged glances with Kakashi and Rin Nohara.

Obito: ‘What do we do? If our memories are sealed, we’re done for.’

Kakashi: ‘Don’t panic yet. Don’t mention changing history. Let’s see what Muzuki-sensei thinks.’

Kakashi forced himself to calm down and used his eyes to tell Obito not to speak. He had guessed that Minato Namikaze didn’t want to change history, but he hadn’t expected Minato Namikaze to be so ruthless as to choose to seal memories.

One had to know that if memories were to be sealed, then all of Minato Namikaze and Naruto’s memories would disappear.

“I don’t think we need to go to such an extent. If the future is unchangeable, are we all just puppets with pre-written scripts? Since the future is not unchangeable, why seal these beautiful memories?” Muzuki said, shaking his head.

Sealing the Roran memories had no impact on Muzuki, as his status as a transmigrator meant he already knew the entire plot.

If he didn’t want to be sealed, with his current Sealing Technique level, it wouldn’t be a problem to fool Minato, but Muzuki still wanted to object.

Because he felt that this memory was a memory worth savoring for Minato Namikaze and the others, and there was no need to seal it away for such a meaningless reason. With him around, this world could not follow the original future.

Obito’s eyes lit up, and he secretly cheered for Muzuki in his heart, hoping Muzuki could persuade Minato Namikaze.

“I don’t think we are puppets acting according to a script. I just think we need to be responsible for the people of the future,” Minato Namikaze stated his view. He was not a person who would easily waver and would not change his mind just because of a single sentence from Muzuki.

Even if that future didn’t include him, Minato Namikaze still wanted to protect that future, because in the future, Konoha and his child would exist well, but if the future changed, that might not be the case.

“Being responsible for the future has nothing to do with sealing memories. What we need to do is use our efforts to create the best possible future,” Muzuki retorted.

“I have never asked Naruto and the others about future-related matters, because I believe that our future should be created by ourselves, and the future is definitely not unchangeable!”

Minato Namikaze wavered a bit. Muzuki’s words indeed made a lot of sense.

“Muzuki-sensei really didn’t ask about the future, and even told us not to ask, saying that future Ninja also have their own difficulties,” Kakashi immediately stepped forward and said when he saw the situation.

“Minato-sensei, I think Muzuki-sensei’s words make a lot of sense, and I also don’t want to forget the time I spent with Naruto-nii-san,” Obito quickly added.

“Minato-sensei, we absolutely will not spread the news about this mission. Sealing memories is really unnecessary,” Rin Nohara also stood on Muzuki’s side.

Muzuki walked to Minato Namikaze’s side and said seriously, “Minato, trust us, and trust yourself. There’s no reason Naruto has to become an orphan.”

Minato Namikaze showed a helpless expression, “I can’t argue with you.”

Because of Muzuki’s consistent character and qualities, Minato Namikaze was persuaded by Muzuki. If he had a choice, he certainly wouldn’t want his future child to be an orphan and suffer so much hardship.

Moreover, Muzuki also said that they hadn’t asked about the future, and Minato Namikaze felt that this should be within a controllable range.

Seeing Minato Namikaze give up the idea of sealing memories, Kakashi and his two teammates breathed a sigh of relief.

“It still has to be Mu Yue, senior,” Obito gave Muzuki a thumbs up in his heart, relieved that they had come with Muzuki.

After sending Naruto and the others back to their own world, Muzuki and their mission was completely over. They left Roran the next day.

On the way, Muzuki and Minato Namikaze discussed reporting the mission.

Ultimately, they unanimously agreed not to report the matter of the future Ninja. The fewer people who knew about this, the better.

When they reached a location near Land of Grass, Minato Namikaze and Muzuki temporarily parted ways, with Minato going to the Land of Grass battlefield to find Jiraiya.

Jiraiya also knew about the future Ninja. Although Minato Namikaze trusted his teacher’s character, he felt that discussing and communicating was very important.

“Rest today, training as usual tomorrow.” After returning to Konoha, Muzuki gave Kakashi and the others a day off as usual.

Although Muzuki gave them time off, Kakashi, Obito, and Rin Nohara all did not go back to rest, but went to South Border Forest to cultivate.

They urgently wanted to improve their strength. With their current strength, saying they wanted to change the future was a bit arrogant.

Obito was wondering whether to tell Shisui, who was also an Uchiha, about the future Uchiha clan massacre.

Muzuki sent out a Shadow Clone to look after his disciples, while his main body returned home to sort out the gains from this trip.

【Disciple Kakashi Hatake, Uchiha Obito diligently completed the entrusted mission, gaining Chakra +800. Additional reward for being led by the teacher himself: Chakra +400】

【Disciple Uchiha Obito’s strength increased, reputation rose, qualifications increased, and the probability of becoming Hokage slightly increased, gaining progress reward — Chakra +1400, Ninjutsu Extraction Scroll · S (Mastery level), Fire Release · Great Fire Annihilation (Mastery level)】

The Chakra gained from completing the mission was a bit more than Muzuki had expected, because this mission had almost no threats. It was already quite good to have this total amount.

Muzuki focused on Obito’s second life mission settlement. This was the main reason Muzuki went out on the mission.

Compared to the 10% settlement, the 20% progress settlement yielded more Chakra. Muzuki wasn’t sure how to compare the remaining rewards.

In Muzuki’s opinion, the Mastery level Great Fire Annihilation and Dragon Flame Release Song Technique were on par, neither significantly stronger than the other.

As for the Bloodline Enhancement Scroll and the S-rank Ninjutsu Extraction Scroll, these two were difficult to compare, as it depended on what Ninjutsu the Ninjutsu Extraction Scroll would specifically extract.

This was Muzuki’s first time obtaining an S-rank Ninjutsu Extraction Scroll. Before, he had only obtained an S-rank Taijutsu Extraction Scroll, which extracted Golden Skyline.

The power of Golden Skyline was undeniable. It was one of Muzuki’s strongest offensive techniques, so Muzuki had high expectations for this S-rank Ninjutsu Extraction Scroll.

However, Muzuki didn’t want an offensive Ninjutsu this time. He currently didn’t lack offensive capabilities; he had too many various Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. He hoped to extract a powerful functional Ninjutsu.
