Chapter Index

“Night, you completed your mission very well. Danzo-sama asked me to give you these.” Heisui-iro handed two scrolls to Muzuki.

Muzuki took the scrolls and nodded calmly, not speaking. Root Ninja did not need much interaction with each other.

Heisui-iro also said nothing more. After handing the scrolls to Muzuki, he quickly flashed away to prevent Muzuki’s identity from being exposed.

After sensing Heisui-iro’s Chakra gradually moving away, Muzuki returned to his room and opened the two scrolls.

One scroll contained a Fire Release Ninjutsu, the Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique.

The other scroll was Danzo’s affirmation of Muzuki’s work and his latest instructions.

Danzo first affirmed Muzuki’s completion of his work, stating that Muzuki had fully utilized his initiative to quickly integrate into the Ninja Academy’s decision-making, and that he had done well. As a reward, he was given a powerful Fire Release Ninjutsu.

Danzo then told Muzuki not to be arrogant and to continue developing at the Ninja Academy with this momentum, paying close attention to Uchiha Shisui in his class while also trying to observe other Uchiha students.

Finally, Danzo drew a grand vision for Muzuki: if Muzuki could maintain this performance, he would help Muzuki get promoted to Special Jonin and hold an important position at the Ninja Academy.

After reading them, flames ignited in Muzuki’s hand, turning both scrolls into ashes.

“Special Jonin, holding an important position, hehe.” Muzuki chuckled.

If it were the original host, he might have been greatly motivated by Danzo’s combination of rewards and promises, but Muzuki…

The rewarded Fire Release was the Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique, which he already knew, and he had no desire to be promoted to Special Jonin.

So Muzuki felt nothing inside; he just wanted to laugh.

Muzuki was preparing to practice his main body while his Shadow Clone read books when he suddenly realized that he had finished all the Ninjutsu books at home.

He pondered for a moment and decided to go to Konoha’s library to borrow some books.

Konoha had a large library with various books and materials, even Ninjutsu. It had been established during the Second Hokage’s era.

Of course, it only contained some D-rank and C-rank ordinary Ninjutsu; forbidden Ninjutsu or high-level Ninjutsu were impossible to find there, and the borrowing price for Ninjutsu was not cheap.

However, it had nothing to do with Muzuki, because he was not there to borrow Ninjutsu, but to find information related to Ninjutsu and Sealing Technique, or more specifically, information related to restrictive cursed seals.

Learning Ninjutsu from lectures was much faster than practicing it himself. He wanted to try to research whether he could break the Tongue Cutting Seal on his body.

Although this cursed seal was not as disgusting as the Caged Bird, having a cursed seal placed by someone else on his body was ultimately uncomfortable.

Walking on the streets of Konoha, looking at the bustling pedestrians, Muzuki felt a bit dazed.

It had been over half a month since he transmigrated to Naruto, and it was the first time Muzuki’s main body had come out to stroll. Usually, a Shadow Clone would go even for grocery shopping.

Due to his special identity and the dangers of this world, Muzuki always felt a lack of security.

After cheating for over half a month, he knew a few more Ninjutsu, and his Chakra had also increased, only then did Muzuki feel a little more confident, thinking that he would not die from an unknown AOE.

Upon arriving at the library, Muzuki took out his Ninja notebook and handed it to the Ninja on duty. It contained some basic information about Muzuki, such as his name and Ninja ID.

This library was only open to Ninja.

The Ninja on duty checked it, found no issues, and nodded, signaling Muzuki to enter.

Just as Muzuki was about to look for information, he met a somewhat familiar figure: a man with golden hair and a gentle smile on his face.

Sensing Muzuki’s gaze, Minato Namikaze also looked at Muzuki. The two nodded slightly, then Muzuki entered and Minato exited.

    【Name: Minato Namikaze】

    【Chakra: 40000】

    【Potential: S】

【Evaluation: Killing Jonin is like slaughtering a chicken; one more look and you’ll explode】

Muzuki’s expression remained unchanged on the surface, but he was incredibly surprised inside.

It was his first time seeing Chakra in the tens of thousands, and it was forty thousand, equivalent to eighty six-year-old Shisui.

The evaluation was also terrifyingly high, as if killing Jonin was effortless.

At this time, Minato did not yet have the title of Yellow Flash. In the eyes of the public, he was just a rather capable Jonin, while his master, Jiraiya of the Sannin, was more famous and one of the popular candidates for Hokage.

However, Muzuki thought about it, and Minato’s evaluation was not wrong. Minato, who had mastered Flying Thunder God, indeed found it not difficult to kill ordinary Jonin.

A Ninja with such speed was incredibly strong when facing weaker opponents.

“If only Minato already had a son in the Ninja Academy,” Muzuki regretted in his heart, “then he could find an opportunity to get close to Minato.”

He actually wanted to be friends with Minato, because Minato’s Sealing Technique mastery was not low, and he was a bit envious of Minato’s Sealing Technique.

Cursed seals were essentially a branch of Sealing Technique.

If he had a Sealing Technique master like Minato as an Advisor, it would be much easier for him to break the Tongue Cutting Seal.

As for Kushina, her status as a Jinchuriki was too sensitive, and Muzuki did not want to cause trouble for himself.

After taking two books related to Sealing Technique and three unrelated books, Muzuki completed the registration and payment, then left the library.

In the Southern Mirror Forest of Konoha, Muzuki was training his disciples for the upcoming exam.

“You two haven’t forgotten what you said before, have you? You must pass tomorrow’s theoretical exam,” Muzuki reminded Obito and Might Guy.

“Of course, if I don’t pass, you can punish me however you want, Muzuki-sensei,” Obito said confidently.

Although they spent most of their time practicing Ninjutsu and only occasionally discussed theory and took tests, they had just taken a past year’s test, and Obito scored thirty points.

According to his previous experience, this score was already several points above passing.

The Ninja Academy’s passing line was half of the average score, and the average score was usually just over fifty, so he was very confident.

“That’s right, if I don’t pass, I’ll run eight hundred laps around Konoha!” Might Guy shouted with great spirit. He had also scored thirty points.

“Not only do I have to pass the theory, but I also want to take first place in the practical!” After more than half a month of Muzuki’s guidance, Obito felt he could now easily defeat his former self.

“I won’t just hand over first place,” Might Guy said, not conceding.

Muzuki smiled and said nothing, but knowing the overall strength of the Fourth Grade, he knew that the two might not be able to take first place, because there was a Hyuga Clan student in Class 4-1 who was quite strong.

Although that student’s potential was only A, Obito and Might Guy’s potential had not yet been realized. Obito hadn’t awakened his Sharingan, and Might Guy hadn’t mastered the Eight Gates.

However, Muzuki couldn’t say for sure, as the level was too low, and there were too many variables.

Muzuki glanced at Shisui, who was quietly reading. He was certain that Shisui’s results would be an overwhelming first place in the entire grade, both in theory and practical.

If he could compete across grades, Muzuki could only say that he might even be first in the entire school.

“I wonder if the system will give the teacher rewards if the students perform well in the exam,” Muzuki wondered to himself.
