Chapter Index

“Danzo Shimura was executed several years ago,” Minato Namikaze replied.

When Danzo Shimura first died, because his crimes had not been exposed, and to protect the dignity of Konoha’s high-ranking officials, Hiruzen Sarutobi and others characterized Danzo Shimura as a hero who bravely sacrificed himself during a mission.

After Danzo Shimura’s crimes were exposed, Hiruzen Sarutobi publicly bowed and apologized, and Danzo Shimura was transformed from a “sacrificed hero” into an executed criminal.

“Dead, and ‘executed’…” Sasuke let out a long breath, his expression somewhat complex.

Naruto’s different family, a different Hokage succession, and Danzo Shimura dying prematurely.

His judgment seemed to be wrong; this was not the past of their world.

But if it wasn’t the past, then where was this place?

Here, there was Itachi Uchiha and Fugaku Uchiha, who looked exactly like those in his memories, and there was Naruto, and there was Konoha.

“Did someone else travel to an earlier time and change history?” Sasuke couldn’t help but consider this possibility.

Since they could use “Plow” to travel through time, others could too.

It was even possible that there was more than one method of time travel besides “Plow.”

Minato Namikaze noticed Sasuke’s expression and spoke, “Your world and this world are not past and future; they are parallel worlds.”

Evidently, Sasuke and Boruto, like Naruto Uzumaki who first traveled here, mistakenly believed they had traveled to the past due to a lack of information.

“What’s a parallel world?” Boruto asked, puzzled.

He didn’t think as much as Sasuke, but he was also very confused about the current situation and couldn’t quite figure out what was happening.

Minato Namikaze smiled slightly, led everyone out, and then picked two leaves from a nearby large tree.

“These two leaves look identical at first glance, but if you look closely, there are many subtle differences. The relationship between parallel worlds is like this: similar but not completely identical.”

“Have other parallel world travelers come to your world?” Sasuke thought for a moment and asked.

The development of Konoha in this world was clearly behind theirs, yet they knew these things, which was a bit illogical.

    Minato Namikaze nodded without elaborating.

“So, Mitsuki, you’re not Muzuki’s descendant then?” Kushina ruffled Boruto’s hair, a disappointed expression on her face.

She had hoped to find out who Muzuki’s wife would be through this.

“So who exactly is Muzuki? I don’t even know this person,” Boruto complained.

He had been so moved earlier, thinking it was the power of familial affection that made Kushina recognize him.

It turned out she hadn’t recognized him correctly at all and had mistaken him for someone else’s child.

“Muzuki has too many commendable deeds; it would probably take too long to explain them all. Simply put, he is the Fourth Hokage, and the current leader of the Ninja World Alliance,” Minato Namikaze replied with a smile.

“And my Sealing Technique disciple,” Kushina added.

“So he’s such an incredible person? Where is he now? How can I meet him?” Boruto’s expression showed curiosity.

This sounded far more impressive than the legendary Sannin.

“He’s currently doing something very important and is not in Konoha at the moment, but if nothing unexpected happens, you should be able to meet him soon,” Minato Namikaze replied.

Very few people knew that Muzuki had taken people to a parallel world; even among the Five Kage, only Minato Namikaze was aware.

The other Kage only knew that Muzuki had gone to some mysterious place to do something very important, but they didn’t know what exactly.

“Since these are parallel worlds, you don’t need to worry that your actions will cause changes in your own world. If you have any useful information for us, please speak freely, especially regarding the Ōtsutsuki.” Minato Namikaze said with a serious expression.

The eras of parallel worlds differ. Sasuke’s world already had Ōtsutsuki clan members other than Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, so perhaps they had already overcome the calamity of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and had a way to deal with her.

“Increase the intensity of the search for the rogue Ninja Orochimaru. Sealing him in prison would save a lot of trouble,” Sasuke thought for a moment and replied.

Orochimaru’s Konoha Crush Plan caused heavy losses to Konoha, and his Improvementsed Edo Tensei gave Yakushi Kabuto’s side a powerful Edo army.

Although Orochimaru wasn’t entirely without redeeming qualities, Sasuke believed it would be better to keep Orochimaru under control.

“Uh, Captain Orochimaru isn’t a rogue Ninja,” Minato Namikaze explained with a subtle expression.

“He hasn’t defected? Even so, we can’t relax our vigilance. He needs to be closely monitored. He’s not someone who will settle for an ordinary life,” Sasuke said, somewhat surprised, but still offered a reminder.

Having been Orochimaru’s disciple for a period, Sasuke knew what a dangerous individual he was; this person would not give up without enough setbacks.

Next, Sasuke originally wanted to talk about Obito, Nagato, and the Akatsuki Organization, but after remembering his conversation with Fugaku Uchiha and others, he pondered for a moment and asked, “What’s the situation in the Land of Rain now?”

“A thriving country. The headquarters of the Shinobi Sect and the Ninja World Alliance are both in the Land of Rain,” Minato Namikaze replied.

    Sasuke: …

So that’s where the problem lay; no wonder Fugaku Uchiha immediately saw the issue.

“Did Obito Uchiha die on the battlefield?”

“No. Are you looking for Obito? He’s not in Konoha right now either.”

“Do you know a Ninja named Nagato?”

“Yes, he’s Lord Mu Yue’s disciple.”

After a series of questions, Sasuke was numb. He felt that his information was completely useless in this world.

Nagato and Obito were both genius Ninja renowned throughout the Ninja World. There would be no Akatsuki Organization collecting Tailed Beasts in this world.

Without the Akatsuki Organization, there would be no Fourth Shinobi World War, and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya would not be resurrected.

“No, there’s also Black Zetsu.” Sasuke suddenly thought of a key character.

Obito was just Madara Uchiha’s puppet, and Madara Uchiha was just Black Zetsu’s puppet. The source of everything was Black Zetsu; as long as Black Zetsu existed, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya could still be resurrected.

“Do you know Black Zetsu? A black humanoid creature, often appearing with a half-black, half-white body,” Sasuke described, recalling his memories of Black Zetsu.

“No, but I do know a white humanoid creature,” Minato Namikaze replied, shaking his head.

The first time he saw that strange creature was during the Third Shinobi World War. At the time, Konoha thought it was Iwagakure’s biological weapon.

Later, they found out it had nothing to do with Iwagakure; it was Madara Uchiha’s doing.

“Sasuke, has Ōtsutsuki Kaguya been resurrected in your world?” Minato Namikaze asked the question he was most concerned about.

    Sasuke nodded.

Seeing this, Minato Namikaze’s mood became somewhat agitated, and he quickly asked, “How did you deal with Ōtsutsuki Kaguya?”

“The Six Paths Sage gave Yin and Yang Chakra to me and Naruto. Naruto and I used this power to reseal Ōtsutsuki Kaguya,” Sasuke did not hide the truth and stated the facts.

“Naruto, Six Paths Sage!” Minato Namikaze’s expression showed surprise. He hadn’t expected to hear his good son’s name here.

“Dad, why are you calling me?” Naruto, who was squatting by the side playing with leaves, looked curiously at Minato Namikaze.

“I wasn’t calling you. Go play somewhere else,” Boruto, who was listening intently, said when Naruto interrupted.

“I won’t listen to you,” Naruto said, puffing out his cheeks, seeing that the blonde stranger was so rude to him.

“You’re such a naughty child. When I was your age, I was much more obedient than you,” Boruto said righteously.

Finally, it was his turn to say this to his stinky old man.

“You’re the naughty one! I’m not listening to you because you’re a stranger!” Hearing Boruto scold him again, Naruto stood up in a hurry to retort.

“Hahaha, our Naruto is the most obedient,” Kushina couldn’t help but laugh at this scene, but still comforted her child.

Then Kushina’s main body took Naruto home, leaving a Shadow Clone to accompany Minato and the others.

Seeing Boruto still smiling smugly, Sasuke looked helpless. What a mess.

“Is the Six Paths Sage still alive then?” Minato Namikaze didn’t mind the recent small interlude and continued to ask.

This was great news. According to the Six Paths Sage’s deeds, he, Senju Hashirama, and Muzuki were all similar types of people.

“The Six Paths Sage is dead, but his Chakra still remains in the world,” Sasuke shook his head.

“The Six Paths Sage’s Chakra? Could it be…” Minato Namikaze suddenly remembered that Muzuki had said he had absorbed the Six Paths Sage’s Chakra.

If the Six Paths Sage’s Chakra absorbed by Muzuki was the Chakra Sasuke spoke of, then they wouldn’t be able to replicate the parallel world’s sealing solution.

“We still need to develop our own strength,” Minato Namikaze sighed inwardly.

Even if Muzuki had absorbed the Chakra Sasuke spoke of, he didn’t feel it mattered.

Naruto Uzumaki’s parallel world had already proven how important Muzuki was to the Ninja World.

Moreover, they still had time. When Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was truly resurrected, perhaps they could reseal Ōtsutsuki Kaguya with their own strength.

“Fifth Hokage, let’s stop here for today. We’ve been through a lot today and are very tired now,” Sasuke said, interrupting Minato Namikaze, who seemed to want to ask something else.

“Do you need me to arrange accommodation for you?” Minato Namikaze asked, showing concern.

“Thank you for your concern, but we won’t trouble you,” Sasuke politely declined.

The money Kushina gave Boruto was enough for them to stay at an inn.

“Why don’t you stay at our house? We have empty rooms,” Kushina invited.

Sasuke still politely declined, then left with Boruto.

“Mr. Sasuke, why didn’t you tell Grandpa and Grandma your real name?” Boruto asked, puzzled, on the way.

During their conversation, Sasuke had never corrected the false name Minato Namikaze used.

Boruto didn’t think Sasuke had forgotten; it was clearly intentional.

“It’s wise to be cautious. Right now, what we’ve heard is only his side of the story; it might not be the true situation,” Sasuke explained.

This was a world they completely didn’t understand. To be safe, they couldn’t reveal all their information.

In fact, if Minato Namikaze hadn’t seemed so sincere, and if there hadn’t been a real Naruto present, Sasuke wouldn’t have even mentioned things about Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.

Not knowing about Black Zetsu, but knowing about the existence of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, Sasuke didn’t know where the people of this world got their information.

“But I feel like Grandpa and Grandma aren’t lying,” Boruto said, stating his opinion.

“Precisely because they seem not to be lying, I revealed some information. Otherwise, I would have taken you away long ago,” Sasuke shook his head and said.

“As a Ninja, you need to learn to question, not just strangers, but even people you know.”

“Then how do we verify Grandpa and Grandma’s words? Go to the Land of Rain? What if Ōtsutsuki Urashiki arrives in the meantime?”

“Then let’s gather information in Konoha first.”

Sasuke and Boruto randomly picked a reasonably priced inn to stay at.

“You sleep well and don’t run around. I’m going out to gather some information,” Sasuke ordered Boruto after taking a shower.

“Mr. Sasuke, that’s not right, shouldn’t we go together?” Boruto didn’t want to stay alone in the inn.

“You won’t be able to help me by my side and will instead easily expose me,” Sasuke said bluntly.

Then Sasuke said no more, created a Shadow Clone, and used Ninjutsu to sneak out.

“Damn it, he even left a Shadow Clone,” Boruto was a little unhappy, but could only obediently lie down on the bed to sleep.

On the other side, after Sasuke went out, he first wandered around Konoha, then in a secluded street, he randomly picked an unfortunate person to obtain information.

“Who is the current Hokage? Which generation?”

    “Lord Minato, the Fifth Hokage.”

“Who was the Fourth Hokage? What kind of person was he?”

“Lord Mu Yue, the greatest Ninja in the world.”

    “Is Danzo Shimura still alive?”

    “He’s dead.”

Under Sasuke’s Sharingan Genjutsu, the Konoha villagers told him everything they knew.

However, because they were just ordinary villagers, the information they could provide was limited.

So Sasuke picked another Konoha Chunin to hypnotize and asked about various matters in this Ninja World.

    “Who is Nagato?”

“Lord Fourth’s disciple, the strongest genius in the Ninja World.”

“What is the Ninja World Alliance?”

“It initially started as a force centered around the Five Great Ninja Villages and the Shinobi Sect, and later the entire Ninja World became involved.”

Hearing this, Sasuke was somewhat surprised.

He hadn’t expected that what he had once wanted to do had actually been accomplished by someone, and it sounded like they had done it very well, even better than he had originally envisioned.

“It seems Minato Namikaze should be trustworthy,” Sasuke thought to himself.

The information he gathered using his Sharingan was largely consistent with the information Minato Namikaze told them, with no discrepancies.

“Parallel worlds… truly amazing.” Recalling Itachi Uchiha, whom he had seen that morning, Sasuke felt a surge of emotion.

Since this wasn’t the past of their world, there was much more they could do, without worrying about causing a malicious change in history.

Even if it was just a parallel world, he hoped that the existence named Itachi Uchiha could live a better life, and no longer bear all the darkness alone.

    PS:

Xiao Ju came up with two book titles based on everyone’s opinions. Brothers, what do you think?

Changing the Ninja World by Teaching.

You’re Supposed to Infiltrate the Ninja Academy, But You Train a Hokage.

It’s not that Xiao Ju is a name-changing maniac, it’s just that the Ninja Academy title didn’t get good recommendations. Currently,’Standing Above the Heavens’ is doing better.

But that one also got a lot of criticism, so I changed it. I didn’t expect the change to be worse than not changing it at all…
