Chapter 84: Remarks on the Release

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it should be officially released tomorrow at 12:05 PM sharp.

First, I want to thank all the friends who have been following along, voting, and tipping. During the free period, I couldn’t update much, only 4k words a day, so I can’t blame you for saying it was short.

Now, allow me to share my misfortunes. This book has been quite unlucky. I didn’t even write anything sensitive, yet chapters kept getting blocked, which caused me to lose my intelligent recommendations. Perhaps not winning the recommendation competition was also related to chapters being blocked the day before the PK. Actually, it was supposed to be released next week, but I didn’t win the recommendation competition and failed, so it’s being released early.

Although the current results aren’t great, this is my first book after graduation, so I’m definitely going to write it well. I’ll work hard to update, so everyone doesn’t need to worry about me abandoning it.

Moreover, I also hold a glimmer of hope. Even if the initial results aren’t good, maybe they’ll improve later. There are precedents for this, so I hope everyone who has the ability can subscribe on Qidian. Juzi bows to all of you, my benefactors.

Currently, the book has about 25,000 collections. Qidian now has strong anti-piracy measures, and strong authors usually have a collection-to-subscription ratio of around five.

However, I don’t feel I have that level of strength, so my target for the first day’s subscriptions is 2,500, which is a 10:1 collection-to-subscription ratio. Reaching that number would make me very satisfied. Anything higher would be a complete surprise. I wonder if everyone can give me a surprise (starting to dream).

Regarding updates, there will be a minimum of five chapters on the release day. I’ll publish as much as I can write.

For bonus chapters, starting from 2,000 first-day subscriptions, one extra chapter will be added for every additional 200 first-day subscriptions. Average subscriptions will be calculated starting from the second day of release, and one extra chapter will be added for every 100 increase in average subscriptions (permanently effective).
