【Disciple Might Guy’s trust level has increased. Current trust level: Four.】

【You gifted your disciple a collection of Taijutsu training insights. The disciple is extremely grateful. Super Critical Hit reward triggered. Received reward — Armament Haki (Perfect Level).】

Compared to the time with Shisui, the reward was slightly less, but that was understandable. After all, Might Guy was not from the Uchiha Clan; even if he got emotional, he couldn’t awaken his eyes to increase his strength.

However, overall, Muzuki was quite satisfied with the gains. Might Guy’s trust level was maxed out, so the future Chakra growth would be four times the benefit, just like with Shisui. Plus, he had gained a Perfect-level skill.

The value of a Perfect-level skill was very high. Regardless of anything else about Hiruzen Sarutobi, Muzuki acknowledged his strength. Even with that dense library of skills, Hiruzen Sarutobi only had one Combination Ninjutsu skill that approached the Perfect level.

And this Perfect-level skill happened to be the Armament Haki, a must-have for powerhouses in the neighboring world. This was even better.

Based on some of the localized skills obtained from the system so far, Muzuki speculated that the system’s localization of skills took the skill’s strength in its original world into account.

For example, the Breathing Technique from Demon Slayer; without the Breathing Technique, one couldn’t fight demons at all. Its importance was self-evident, so after localization, Breathing Technique was basically at the level of a forbidden jutsu.

Skills like Soru and Finger Gun, while decent locally, were not particularly crucial. Therefore, after the system’s localization, they were just considered excellent Taijutsu, not exactly vital.

A large amount of training memories related to Armament Haki flooded into Muzuki’s mind. It was as if he had practiced this skill for decades in an instant.

After receiving the training memories, Muzuki immediately judged that this was a super practical Yin Release secret technique.

After localization, Armament Haki belonged to Yin Release. The strength of the Haki was related to the user’s mental strength and Chakra strength.

Beginner-level Armament Haki could be used through Hardening, which meant using Yin Release Nature Transformation to create a layer of black substance covering any part of the body. It could both enhance defense and increase attack power, and it could also be applied to Kunai and Shuriken.

After becoming proficient, one could use Armament Haki Entanglement and Emission. Entanglement meant wrapping special Armament Haki Chakra around the limbs to increase strength, which could be used in conjunction with Hardening. Emission meant releasing the Armament Haki’s Yin Release Chakra directly, similar to breathing fire with Fire Release or spitting water with Water Release.

Upon reaching the Mastery level, Armament Haki allowed for absolute control over the Haki on one’s body, enabling one to concentrate Haki on a single point to create ultimate defense or ultimate attack.

As for the Perfect level, it fully enhanced the quality of the Haki. As long as there was enough Chakra, if a hard Ninjutsu couldn’t break through, a punch imbued with Haki could shatter the heavens and split the earth.

Recalling the usage method of Haki in his mind, Muzuki even felt that Might Guy could try learning it.

Although it was a secret technique, Armament Haki was the type that relied on raw power. Before reaching the Mastery level, there was no need for delicate control. Muzuki felt that Might Guy wouldn’t be able to reach the Mastery level; with Guy’s talent for Ninjutsu, even with his teaching skills, it would be difficult to bring him to the Mastery level.

Reaching the Beginner level would be a success, and reaching Proficiency would be a bonus. Anyway, after Might Guy opened the Eight Gates, he wouldn’t have much else, but he would have plenty of Chakra. He could just pour in the Chakra, coating his whole body in high-intensity Armament Haki, making him both tough and high-output.

“Even if he can only use Hardening, it will be a significant boost.” Muzuki thought to himself.

The root cause of being unable to use it after opening the Eight Gates was that the Chakra became too violent, making it impossible to meet the requirements for using Ninjutsu.

But how should one describe this Armament Haki secret technique? It didn’t count as a specific Ninjutsu; it was a method of utilizing Chakra.

Take the Nara Clan’s shadow secret techniques as an example; the core was also Yin Release Nature Transformation, while Shadow Imitation Technique, Shadow Sewing, and Shadow Strangle Technique were specific Ninjutsu.

Muzuki didn’t need Might Guy to use Haki in fancy ways or turn it into Ninjutsu; he just needed Might Guy to be able to use Hardening.

However, Muzuki wasn’t sure if it could succeed. After all, he hadn’t conducted any experiments yet; he just felt there was a chance for success.

After everyone finished giving their gifts, it was time for the sequence of blowing out the candles, making a wish, and so on.

“My birthday is February 10th, just over a month away. Everyone, come join me then!” Obito reminded them with a silly grin while eating cake.

“It’s still Guy’s birthday right now, Obito. You’re too impatient.” Rin Nohara said with some helplessness.

Advertising one’s own birthday while celebrating someone else’s; only Obito would likely do something like that.

“Hehe, seeing everyone so happy, I just couldn’t help but say it.” Obito chuckled.

Obito was looking forward to it, and Muzuki was quite looking forward to it as well. After all, opportunities to get such massive rewards weren’t common.

Muzuki felt that “farming” rewards from Obito would be slightly easier than from Might Guy.

Although neither of them lacked the love of elders compared to Shisui, there was a big difference when broken down, because Might Guy had his father, while Obito had his grandmother.

Although Obito was helpful, he didn’t treat everyone the same. On the contrary, Obito was the type of person who would develop deeper feelings for you the better you treated him.

One could see some clues from the fact that in the original story, Obito went straight to becoming a madman after seeing Rin Nohara die.

Rin Nohara had truly been taking care of Obito since before he even started school. When Obito was late for enrollment, it was Rin Nohara who brought him his admission documents. Afterward, she took care of him in various ways, all the way until she died under Uchiha Madara’s conspiracy.

Therefore, for the “Obito massive reward” plan, Muzuki prepared to let Obito see his seriousness regarding Obito’s birthday from the very beginning, the meticulousness when preparing gifts, and his attentive care for Obito.

“Just make sure you don’t show up late on your own birthday.” Kakashi said calmly.

“You’re the one who would show up late on your own birthday.” Obito retorted, then remembered he hadn’t told Rin Nohara about Kakashi messing up the mission yet.

“Rin, let me tell you, don’t look at the fact that Kakashi is a Chunin while Guy and I are still Intern Ninjas. In reality, when doing missions, Kakashi isn’t even as reliable as us.”

“Back when we entered the Land of Rice Fields and encountered enemies, I held off a powerful enemy Ninja, and Guy was working hard to protect the client. Only Kakashi was being a burden to Teacher Muzuki, controlled and unable to move from the spot.”

Obito seized the opportunity to slander him wildly, leaving Rin Nohara stunned.

Kakashi’s face darkened. Obito didn’t mention the strength of the enemy who controlled him at all; instead, he talked about how strong the Ninja he faced was.

Since Obito was inserting his own agenda like this, Kakashi wouldn’t be polite either. Recalling various details from that time, he fiercely attacked Obito.

The room suddenly became even livelier.

By the time it ended, Kakashi and Obito were still verbally reviewing that battle, searching for each other’s failures.

As for Muzuki, he went to the South Border Forest alone to test his new idea.
