Chapter Index

“Candidate No. 37, Akazaki Isamu, and Candidate No. 38, Uchiha Shisui, please enter the examination room.”

Akazaki Isamu froze for a moment when he heard that his opponent was Shisui.

Without a doubt, Shisui was absolutely the opponent that all Class 1, Grade 1 students least wanted to encounter.

No other reason than that Shisui was simply too strong.

In the last exam, Shisui had overwhelmingly secured first place in the class and first place in the grade, and even Anko, who was second in the grade, was completely outmatched by him.

The score for the Practical Exam is determined by the performance during the battle; if one is instantly defeated, the proctor cannot observe their performance, resulting in a lower score.

But since he had drawn Shisui as his opponent, Akazaki Isamu could only accept his bad luck and enter the examination room.

After Muzuki announced the start of the exam, Akazaki Isamu didn’t care about anything else and immediately used the Three Body Technique completely, demonstrating his proficiency in the Three Body Technique.

“This student has a good understanding of the exam scoring rules,” Ueda Aya nodded and said, not finding anything wrong with Akazaki Isamu’s actions.

Shisui quietly watched Akazaki Isamu perform, and when he felt it was about time, he directly threw two Shuriken to eliminate the clones, then rushed forward and knocked Akazaki Isamu down with two punches.

“The difference in strength between the two is too great,” Ueda Aya temporarily couldn’t see any change in Shisui’s strength compared to last time.

Akazaki Isamu’s strength was too far below Shisui’s; nothing could be discerned.

When the battle between student No. 39 and student No. 40 concluded, Ueda Aya had completed the first round of scoring.

She casually glanced over; out of forty students, not a single student’s Ninjutsu score was below 8 points, and the average score was extremely impressive.

“For this exam, I estimate you, Muzuki, will once again receive praise from the Sandaime, and I’ll probably be called in for questioning when these scores are reported,” Ueda Aya said jokingly.

“Then we’ll probably be questioned together,” Muzuki showed Ueda Aya the scores he had given, which were similar to Ueda Aya’s.

Although they were his own students, excellent performance was excellent performance, and he didn’t need to avoid suspicion by deliberately giving low scores.

As the battles continued, students inevitably encountered situations where they had to fight friends; Izumo Kamizuki eliminated Kotetsu Hagane with tears, and Anko eliminated Izumo Kamizuki with tears.

“Hahaha, Kotetsu, your Enemy Confusion Technique is completely useless!” Izumo Kamizuki, having defeated his friend, used laughter to mask his sadness while comforting his good brother.

    Kotetsu Hagane: …

He swore he would practice every day during the holidays, and he would definitely defeat Izumo Kamizuki next semester to regain his pride.

“Hahaha, Izumo, Kotetsu, how could you two Ninjutsu talents be a match for me, the genius Anko?” Anko, who had entered the class practical exam finals, stood with her hands on her hips, looking very pleased.

The two exchanged glances, deciding that on the day their theoretical scores were released, they would definitely hit Anko hard.

“Candidates Anko Mitarashi and Uchiha Shisui, please enter the examination area.” The class practical exam entered its final stage.

Ueda Aya watched this battle intently; Anko was the second-place student in the last exam, arguably the strongest in the first grade after Shisui, and she should be able to make Shisui display more of his abilities.

Anko knew Shisui was difficult to deal with, so she immediately used the Enemy Confusion Technique at the start of the battle.

However, this time she made some changes: she first created seven Shisui clones, and while the clones interfered with Shisui, she used the Transformation Technique to transform herself into Shisui’s appearance, then created another clone in her own appearance.

However, Shisui was not as easily fooled as ordinary students; even with numerous illusions constantly interfering with his vision, he still did not lose sight of the real Anko, and with a Body Flicker Technique, he reached Anko’s side and defeated her.

“Body Flicker Technique, huh? He probably needs to be placed in the Fourth Grade’s Grade Level Practical Exam to see more of his abilities,” Ueda Aya thought to herself.

The battle between Shisui and Anko was also one-sided, but Shisui showed a little more.

With Shisui winning first place in the class practical exam, the class practical exam on the second day concluded.

As Muzuki and Ueda Aya walked back to the office together, they encountered Ikeya Yu, who was shouting loudly.

“Why on earth are Might Guy and Uchiha Obito so strong?” Ikeya Yu was utterly perplexed; he hadn’t seen them being that amazing in class.

This time, he was also assigned to proctor his own class, and after observing Might Guy and Uchiha Obito’s performance all day, he felt that Hyuga Homura might not even be able to defeat them.

Ikeya Yu found it very strange; how could two famous dead last students become so powerful under his tutelage? Could he be a hidden teaching master?

Ikeya Yu, who still had some self-awareness, quickly dismissed this idea, because he also taught a Class 1, Grade 3, and the overall level of that class was only average.

Ikeya Yu saw Muzuki and Ueda Aya and told them about this matter.

“Perhaps they’ve been accumulating strength and are now finally unleashing it?” Ueda Aya said uncertainly.

“No matter what, isn’t it a good thing that students are strong?” Muzuki said with a smile.

Ikeya Yu felt that what Muzuki said made a lot of sense; there was no need to wonder why they were so powerful this semester, as the bonuses from the school were not fake.

The Grade Level Practical Exam began on the third day.

The scoring teachers for the Grade Level Practical Exam were randomly selected proctors from that grade; Ueda Aya was chosen, but Muzuki was not.

However, as a first-grade teacher, Muzuki still went to watch for a while.

Ueda Aya completed one round of scoring and then realized that the top two students sent by some classes were not as strong as some of the Ninjutsu talents in Muzuki’s class.

“This two-student-per-class limit needs to be changed,” Ueda Aya thought to herself. “If it weren’t for this restriction, Class 1, Grade 1 would have at least six students among the top eight in the grade.”

She felt that such a rule was a bit unfair to a class like Class 1, Grade 1, which was exceptionally outstanding overall.

Even if they were strong enough, they couldn’t participate in the Grade Level Practical Exam.

Muzuki left after watching the first round and went to the Fourth Grade’s Grade Level Practical Exam examination room.

There was no doubt that Shisui would take first place in the grade; he was more concerned about the situation in the Fourth Grade.

Might Guy and Obito both had training missions to achieve first place.

With two months of intense training and improvement as a foundation, Muzuki felt that the rewards from completing the training missions would be excellent, and he was very much looking forward to them.

When Muzuki arrived, the Fourth Grade had just completed their first round and was now in the eight-to-four elimination stage.

“Candidate No. 1, Hyuga Homura, and Candidate No. 4, Might Guy, please enter the examination room.”

When the proctor’s voice rang out, the students watching began to whisper.

Based on the results of the last exam, this battle was undoubtedly the focal point of this Grade Level Practical Exam, as the combatants were precisely the first and second place from the previous exam.
