Chapter Index

    “Grandpa, are you alright?”

Boruto saw Minato Namikaze fall to the ground and rushed over, calling out in concern.

    “Grandpa?”

Hiruzen Sarutobi, who was anxiously checking on Minato Namikaze, heard the address and couldn’t help but turn his head, looking at Boruto with a puzzled expression.

Minato Namikaze had not yet told anyone about the parallel world traveler; currently, only Kushina and he knew.

“I’m fine, just a little too much Chakra consumption.”

Minato Namikaze struggled to sit up, drawing everyone’s attention.

“Fifth Hokage, what exactly happened? How could such a powerful enemy suddenly attack Konoha?”

Homura Mitokado expressed his confusion to Minato Namikaze.

He was completely bewildered at the moment.

He was working in the Hokage Building when a sudden explosion occurred. By the time he and Utatane Koharu rushed to the Hokage Office, no one was inside.

Then, before they could analyze the battle traces, Minato Namikaze’s signal flare appeared in the distance, and they had no choice but to rush to provide support.

What followed was an encounter with Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, a monster so strong that they couldn’t even scratch him despite using all their strength.

    “And who is he?”

    Homura Mitokado looked at Sasuke.

It was impossible for him not to know all the Konoha Ninja, but he was familiar with Konoha’s strong Ninja, and he was certain he had never seen this person before.

“The enemy’s name is Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, a member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan.”

    Minato Namikaze introduced him simply.

The matter of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was no longer a secret among the high-ranking Ninja World officials. Just mentioning the name Ōtsutsuki was enough to easily convey the severity of the situation.

    “The Ōtsutsuki Clan!”

As Minato Namikaze expected, Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu both changed their expressions.

“As for Suigetsu, he was sent by Muzuki.”

    Minato Namikaze explained for Sasuke.

Although a strong person suddenly appearing was strange, as long as Muzuki was mentioned, there would be no problem.

As expected, Homura Mitokado and the others all showed expressions of understanding. Since it was Muzuki, it was not strange.

“Let’s go back to the Hokage Building; this is not the place to talk.”

Hiruzen Sarutobi said after looking around.

Due to the signal flare, Konoha Ninja were continuously rushing to this location, and the residential area might also have fallen into chaos.

They had to first calm the situation before discussing the Ōtsutsuki Urashiki matter.

Fortunately, Ōtsutsuki Urashiki was only focused on taking back the “Plow” and did not cause much destruction. Only a few Ninja were injured, and no one died.

Therefore, the handling was quite simple. Before some Konoha residents even realized something had happened, Konoha had already returned to its usual tranquility.

Only those Ninja who knew the truth were somewhat uneasy.

“Fifth Hokage, does Leader Mu Yue know about this? What arrangements has he made regarding it?”

In the conference room, Homura Mitokado continuously questioned Minato Namikaze about various issues.

Minato Namikaze also had a headache. Muzuki was not in the Ninja World right now; it would be a ghost if he knew.

But he had already used Muzuki’s name for Sasuke, so he could only bite the bullet and say some vague words.

“Don’t ask too much. Muzuki must have made these arrangements after careful consideration. He is the person who understands the Ōtsutsuki the most, and he is also the strongest.

Perhaps, to deal with the Ōtsutsuki, Muzuki has made many efforts in places we cannot see.”

    Hiruzen Sarutobi said with emotion.

It was only after the battle with Ōtsutsuki Urashiki that Hiruzen Sarutobi truly understood the terror of the Ōtsutsuki.

The Ōtsutsuki simply did not view them as people.

During the fight with Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, Hiruzen Sarutobi could clearly feel the other party’s playful and mischievous attitude.

It was like a bored person seeing a few interesting small animals and feeling a surge of playfulness.

If one day an Ōtsutsuki with a personality that liked to pour hot water on ants came, even if their strength was not as great as Ōtsutsuki Urashiki’s, they could still cause immense destruction to the Ninja World.

Even a powerful Konoha, under Ōtsutsuki Urashiki’s sudden attack, only managed to repel the strong enemy by relying on the Sage Ninjutsu scrolls left by Muzuki, let alone other Ninja Villages or even ordinary cities.

Homura Mitokado nodded and asked no more questions.

It wasn’t that he had any objections to Minato; he was just a little panicked earlier.

Suddenly facing a monster like an Ōtsutsuki, Homura Mitokado truly felt like he had taken a stroll in front of the gates of hell.

“Mr. Sasuke, do you have any way to make me stronger quickly?”

    Boruto asked Sasuke.

He was so unwilling, being unable to do anything in the battle, only able to watch Sasuke and the others fight.

“Getting stronger is never an overnight thing; you need to train persistently.”

    Sasuke shook his head.

He didn’t want to see Boruto follow his old path. That path might be a way to get stronger, but the cost was too great and too arduous.

“Don’t overthink it, you’re still young, no need to blame yourself for such things.”

    Sasuke comforted him.

“But Ōtsutsuki Urashiki will definitely come back after his injuries heal, right?”

    Boruto said worriedly.

“Once my Chakra has recovered enough, I’ll take the ‘Plow’ and leave Konoha alone. After it’s fully charged, I’ll come back to find you. That way, it won’t affect this world’s Konoha.”

Sasuke thought for a moment and said.

This was the best solution he came up with after analyzing the current situation.

From Ōtsutsuki Urashiki’s actions today, it was clear that his highest priority was the “Plow.”

As long as Sasuke took the “Plow” and left Konoha, Ōtsutsuki Urashiki would most likely choose to pursue Sasuke rather than continue attacking Konoha.

All Sasuke had to do was stall for time until the “Plow” finished charging, and then the problem would be solved.

Although this would disrupt Sasuke’s plan to teach Itachi Uchiha swordsmanship, this was the best choice.

Their staying in Konoha with the “Plow” would bring danger to Itachi Uchiha and to this world’s Konoha.

“How can I let Mr. Sasuke face Ōtsutsuki Urashiki alone? If we’re leaving, then we’ll leave together.”

    Boruto said earnestly.

Even if he couldn’t help much in battle, he could at least talk to Sasuke and make him less bored.

“If you insist on leaving with me, that’s fine too.”

    Sasuke did not refuse.

With his full strength, he had more than enough leeway to protect one person.

After confirming the plan to leave, Sasuke took Boruto to find Minato Namikaze, who was preparing to go home after the meeting, and explained their idea.

“If Sasuke’s condition returns to its peak and Muzuki hasn’t returned yet, whether you stay in Konoha or leave is up to you.

But if Muzuki has returned by then, then feel free to stay in Konoha.”

Minato Namikaze pondered for a moment before saying.

Without enough power, keeping Sasuke in Konoha was quite dangerous. Since Sasuke had this resolve, Minato Namikaze naturally couldn’t force him to stay.

But if Muzuki was there, it would be a different situation.

Whether Muzuki could deal with Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was unknown, but Ōtsutsuki Urashiki should be manageable.

After all, the scroll Muzuki left behind could injure Ōtsutsuki Urashiki. If Muzuki’s main body was present, there would be even less to say.

“The scroll that injured Ōtsutsuki Urashiki was given to me by Muzuki.”

To boost Sasuke’s confidence, Minato Namikaze specifically explained.

“Since there’s such a good thing, why didn’t he give us more?”

    Boruto complained.

“Probably because it’s very difficult to make.”

    Minato Namikaze speculated.

Let alone Muzuki’s Six Paths Sage Mode, even creating a scroll capable of achieving the power of a “Hokage-level” Ninjutsu was extremely difficult.

The creator needed to master the technique and also be a “Hokage-level” strong person themselves, then expend a great deal of time and effort to create a “Hokage-level” Ninjutsu scroll.

    “Then it’s decided.”

Sasuke agreed with Minato Namikaze’s suggestion.

He was very curious about Muzuki, this Ninja who had absorbed the Six Paths Sage’s Chakra, and wanted to exchange information about the Ōtsutsuki with Muzuki.

    The next day.

After finishing breakfast, Sasuke headed to the Uchiha Clan Compound.

Yesterday, he and Itachi Uchiha had agreed to train again today, but not for the whole day like yesterday, only for the morning.

    “Mr. Suigetsu, good morning.”

Itachi Uchiha, who had arrived a little early, greeted him.

    “Mhm, good morning.”

    Sasuke replied.

Neither of them were particularly talkative people. After greeting each other, they began their formal training and only started resting after two hours.

“Mr. Suigetsu, could you tell me your story today?”

Itachi Uchiha, leaning against a tree, asked.

Yesterday, Sasuke said “next time” and not “definitely next time,” so he might not tell him a story.

“Why do you want to hear my story?”

Sasuke didn’t give an answer but looked into Itachi Uchiha’s eyes and asked a question.

“Brother Shisui said that absorbing the experiences of predecessors is very useful. Learning from their excellent points can make oneself excellent, and their mistakes can serve as a warning.”

    Itachi Uchiha replied.

“I feel that Mr. Suigetsu is an amazing person, so absorbing your experience should be very useful.”

Sasuke was silent for a while, then said:

“Then I’ll tell you a story about someone even more amazing than me.”

Itachi Uchiha assumed a listening posture.

“That person was a genius. Everyone who knew him considered him an incredibly talented Ninja, whether they were elders of the clan or famous Ninja.”

Sasuke recalled the past and slowly spoke.

    “How exactly was that determined?”

    Itachi Uchiha asked curiously.

“If the location were Konoha, it would probably be equivalent to the Hokage praising you now, saying you can already think like a Hokage.”

Sasuke glanced at Itachi Uchiha and replied.

    “That’s truly amazing.”

    Itachi Uchiha said in surprise.

He remembered that Muzuki was the Hokage. To receive such praise from Muzuki, even Shisui would probably be excited.

“But even a genius is not omnipotent. Despite his considerable strength and superhuman wisdom, he still suffered under the dual pressure of the Village and the clan.”

“Due to some lingering issues, his clan and the Village had irreconcilable conflicts. The clan hoped he would help them deal with the Village, while the Village leader hoped he could solve the clan’s problems. Thus, he was caught between two great mountains.”

Recalling his brother’s tragic experience, Sasuke’s expression became somewhat gloomy.

“That sounds so difficult. Did he eventually resolve the conflict?”

Itachi Uchiha gradually became immersed in the story Sasuke was telling, as if he himself had become a character in the story.

“He resolved it. To prevent the clan from bearing the infamy of a coup, and to protect the Village from the suffering of war, he ultimately agreed to the suggestion of a radical high-ranking official: to kill all clan members except his younger brother, thereby resolving the issue of the clan’s coup.”

“He bore all the infamy and hatred on his shoulders, carrying the heavy burden alone until his death.”

Sasuke said in a deep voice.

    “Ah?”

Itachi Uchiha instantly broke free from his immersion, staring at Sasuke with wide eyes, and subconsciously stood up.

“It doesn’t sound very impressive. Although the clan didn’t bear the infamy of a coup, all the clan members died except for one younger brother. Is the clan’s reputation still that important?”

Itachi Uchiha couldn’t help but say.

Sasuke’s eyes sharpened but quickly softened.

His mental process just now was roughly: Who dares to speak ill of my brother Itachi Uchiha? Oh, it was Itachi Uchiha who said it. Never mind then.

“Things are more complex and difficult than you imagine. It’s easy to analyze various details calmly in hindsight, but for someone in the eye of the Uzumaki, it’s very hard.”

    Sasuke sighed.

“I feel that if it were Brother Shisui, he should be able to do better.”

Itachi Uchiha still thought that person wasn’t impressive enough.

    Sasuke:…

It was precisely because Shisui couldn’t bear the burden that it fell on his brother’s shoulders.

“Shisui in this timeline might be different.”

Sasuke thought of the differences between the two worlds.

Although the names and appearances were the same, the people in the two worlds were not entirely identical.

So there was a possibility that Shisui in this world was stronger.

Thinking of this, Sasuke felt a little desire to meet Shisui from this world.

Unfortunately, Shisui in this world seemed to be out of the Village on a mission and was not in Konoha.

“Thank you, Mr. Suigetsu, for your story. I will absorb his experience and not let your efforts be in vain.”

    Itachi Uchiha thanked him politely.

“That would be for the best.”

    Sasuke said earnestly.

If Itachi Uchiha truly learned from the experience and became better, his efforts wouldn’t be in vain.

Next, they continued to train until noon.

“Mr. Suigetsu, why did you stop?”

    Itachi Uchiha asked in confusion.

“A promise with my little brother is also a very important thing.”

Sasuke lightly tapped Itachi Uchiha’s head and said.

Yesterday, Itachi Uchiha and little Sasuke had made a promise.

“Oh, right. Then, goodbye, Mr. Suigetsu.”

Itachi Uchiha thanked Sasuke and left, quickly running home.

Sasuke watched Itachi Uchiha leave, and a faint smile appeared on his face as he thought of the warmth and joy at Fugaku’s house later.

Then Sasuke went to find Boruto and had lunch with him.

Just as Sasuke was about to take Boruto for intensive training, Minato Namikaze sent a Ninja to find them, bringing them good news.

    Muzuki was back!

Sasuke immediately took Boruto and quickly headed to the Hokage Building.
