Chapter Index

Muzuki followed the rules of the practical exam, letting everyone draw lots to decide the contestants, and then gave a critique after each group’s battle.

“The Transformation Technique was used at the wrong time; it didn’t serve its intended purpose. Your Physical Prowess is weak, and your punching speed is too slow.”

“How can you confuse the enemy by clearly splitting out a Shadow Clone like that?”

“Your fist techniques are unrefined, your kicks lack power, your footwork is loose, and your reactions are sluggish. How can such Physical Prowess defeat an enemy?”

Muzuki did not hold back his words; one could even say he was strict.

But Muzuki wasn’t spouting nonsense; everything he said was a real problem, and the students whose issues Muzuki pointed out all lowered their heads in shame.

“I know your monthly exam results were very good; both your theoretical and practical scores were higher than those of other classes, but you cannot become complacent in your cultivation because of this.”

“When I was critiquing, my words might have been a bit harsh, so I, as your Teacher, apologize to you first here.”

“But I am actually doing this for your own good. Physical Prowess and Ninjutsu are both very important. If you don’t practice your Physical Prowess well now, you will regret it when you fight enemies in the future,” Muzuki said with a sigh after critiquing everyone.

“Muzuki Teacher, I really haven’t been slacking off. I spend the same amount of time on Physical Prowess as I do on Ninjutsu. It’s just that the Medical Ninja isn’t good at teaching; he’s not as good as you, which is why it’s like this,” Anko said, feeling a bit wronged.

“That’s right, I’ve also been studying diligently, but the Medical Ninja teaches in a way that’s really hard to understand,” Kotetsu Hagane also chimed in.

When Kotetsu Hagane was first critiqued by Muzuki, he was a bit displeased, feeling that Muzuki was too strict, considering they were only first-year students.

Later, after listening to Muzuki’s apology, Kotetsu Hagane felt truly ashamed. Muzuki Teacher was thinking of them in such a way, how could he think Muzuki Teacher was in the wrong?

A Teacher apologizing to students—Kotetsu Hagane had never heard of such a thing, let alone that Muzuki hadn’t done anything wrong to them; it was simply a Teacher’s duty.

Kotetsu Hagane and Anko’s words resonated with the students of Class 1, Grade 1, and they all began to complain.

“Muzuki Teacher, can you replace the Medical Ninja? He really can’t teach; his classes are both boring and hard to understand.”

“That’s right, with the Medical Ninja like this, I feel like I could even be a Medical Ninja. Isn’t it just telling people to run laps on the training ground? Who can’t do that?”

“How can you speak of Tanimura Teacher like that? He has been your Teacher for two months, after all. As a Teacher, wouldn’t he want your strength to be greater?” Muzuki began to speak up for the Medical Ninja.

Their class’s Medical Ninja was named Tanimura Toshihiro. Unlike Muzuki, who was a newcomer, Tanimura Toshihiro had been teaching at the Ninja Academy for three years.

Although he had been teaching for three years, Tanimura Toshihiro’s teaching level was difficult to describe.

As the Teacher of a class, Muzuki had naturally interacted with Tanimura Toshihiro, and could only say he was among the poorer Chunin Teachers.

Moreover, as students of Class 1, they interacted most with Muzuki. When comparing Muzuki to Tanimura Toshihiro, Tanimura Toshihiro was completely outclassed in every aspect.

“Muzuki Teacher, we don’t think his teaching attitude is the problem; we purely think his ability is lacking,” Izumo Kamizuki explained.

“That’s right, the class next door always says our Ninjutsu is good, but I’ve never heard anyone say our Physical Prowess is good,” someone cited as an example.

Normally, they hadn’t felt there was a major problem, only that the Medical Ninja taught somewhat poorly and was boring.

But when they gathered and discussed it like this, the students of Class 1 felt something was amiss. This wasn’t just a matter of boredom; it concerned the fundamental aspect of a Ninja—strength.

In practical assessments, students wouldn’t fight to the death, and Teachers would intervene if accidents occurred. But the enemies encountered on missions and battlefields wouldn’t hold back.

“This…” Muzuki showed a troubled expression, and finally sighed, saying:

“Don’t say these things in front of Tanimura Teacher. And practice Physical Prowess more in your daily lives. If you really don’t understand, find time to ask me.”

The students’ dissatisfaction with Tanimura Toshihiro’s teaching level was like gunpowder piled together; he only needed to act as a fuse.

Seeing that Muzuki was still speaking up for the Medical Ninja, the students of Class 1 felt Muzuki was being too kind.

“They are all colleagues. Muzuki Teacher probably doesn’t want Tanimura Teacher to be embarrassed,” Shisui’s Shadow Clone thought to himself, seeing this scene.

Shisui also felt that the Medical Ninja’s level was very poor, far worse than the Uchiha’s introductory Teachers, let alone compared to Muzuki.

After class, before leaving, Muzuki reminded them again not to speak ill of the Medical Ninja to his face and to be more understanding.

The students all nodded in agreement. After Muzuki left, Anko took the lead, and the entire class discussed how they could get a different Medical Ninja.

“Didn’t they say that if grades are poor, the Teacher will be replaced? How about we intentionally do poorly?” a student suggested.

“But there’s no separate Physical Prowess exam. Are we supposed to intentionally do poorly in the practical exam? Then Muzuki Teacher, who teaches Ninjutsu, would also be affected,” Kotetsu Hagane shook his head and said.

“Then that won’t work. Muzuki Teacher is so good; I want him to teach until I graduate.” Hearing that it would be detrimental to Muzuki, Anko directly and completely rejected this suggestion.

    Anko’s words received everyone’s approval.

“Then let’s all state the fact that his teaching ability is insufficient and make him leave on his own?” With many people, ideas abound, and soon another suggestion was put forward.

“Wouldn’t that be bad? Didn’t Muzuki Teacher tell us not to do that?”

“This would be beneficial to Muzuki Teacher, so why not do it? Muzuki Teacher is our homeroom Teacher. He will only have face if we are strong,” Kotetsu Hagane felt this was feasible.

If they changed the Medical Ninja, their strength would increase, which would also be beneficial to Muzuki.

“I think the suggestion is good. If we force the Teacher to leave, it’s our problem; it won’t affect Muzuki Teacher,” Izumo Kamizuki also nodded.

“And if he stubbornly refuses to leave, I have another good idea,” Izumo Kamizuki thought of a brilliant plan.

“There’s only a little over a month until the final exams. In the practical exam, let’s exaggerate our learning achievements in Ninjutsu and Physical Prowess even more, so the school knows that the Medical Ninja really can’t teach.”

“However, our overall grades must be good so that the school will notice us,” Izumo Kamizuki reminded them.

Kotetsu Hagane put his arm around Izumo Kamizuki’s shoulder and laughed, “It has to be you, Izumo.”

Everyone nodded in approval, feeling that they needed to cultivate even harder now to achieve good results in the final exams and get a different Medical Ninja.

After lunch, Muzuki did not return to his own office but went to the office next door, which was Tanimura Toshihiro’s office.

“Habsheng Teacher.” As soon as Muzuki entered the office, many Teachers greeted him.

Muzuki smiled and responded to each of them, then walked up to Tanimura Toshihiro, called Tanimura Toshihiro out on the pretext of having something to discuss, and led him to a secluded place.

“Tanimura Teacher, I’m sorry,” Muzuki apologized to Tanimura Toshihiro.

“Habsheng Teacher, has something happened? Why are you suddenly like this?” Tanimura Toshihiro was a bit confused, not understanding what had occurred.
