Chapter Index

In the early morning, Kakashi woke up, but this time it wasn’t due to an alarm clock or a habitual biological clock; instead, he was roused by a delightful aroma.

Before even opening his eyes, Kakashi was puzzled by the source of such a fragrant smell. It was only when he opened his eyes and saw the unfamiliar ceiling that he remembered he hadn’t gone home yesterday but had stayed at Muzuki’s house.

Perhaps it was because he had a good night’s sleep, but Kakashi felt his body was much lighter and more energetic.

Then, Kakashi exited the room and went downstairs to the first floor.

“You’re awake,” Muzuki said with a smile as he placed the prepared breakfast on the table, having just seen Kakashi descend the stairs. “I’ve just finished making breakfast; come and eat.”

“Thank you, I appreciate it,” Kakashi thanked Muzuki.

Kakashi glanced at the dining table. Perhaps because he was there, Muzuki had made extra. The breakfast was lavish: sweet-looking red bean rice, steaming miso soup, thick omelets, and grilled fish.

“I’m eating,” Kakashi said after sitting down at the table.

It had been a long time since he had said this phrase at breakfast, because this phrase is not telling the food that I am going to eat you, but telling the people eating together that it is time to eat, and naturally there is no need to shout when eating alone.

The chaotic thoughts in Kakashi’s mind disappeared after he finished Muzuki’s breakfast. At this moment, he only felt that everything was delicious, immersing himself entirely in the world of food.

After devouring all the dishes in front of him and finishing the steaming miso soup, Kakashi felt a comfortable warmth spread through his body.

After finishing his meal, Kakashi looked at the empty plates and realized he had unknowingly eaten so much.

【Disciple Kakashi Hatake’s trust level has increased. Current trust level: Three】

“It seems you really like my cooking,” Muzuki said with a chuckle as he stood up to clear the table, feeling that his efforts had not been in vain, as the trust level had finally risen.

“Because your cooking, Muzuki-sensei, is truly delicious,” Kakashi said earnestly.

It’s hard to say which Ninja is the strongest in the Ninja World right now, but if anyone claims to cook better than Muzuki, Kakashi would be the first to object. This is genjutsu-level cuisine.

“I’ll clean up,” Kakashi offered to help.

Having bothered Muzuki to guide him and provided such a lavish breakfast, Kakashi felt a little uncomfortable if he didn’t do something.

“Then I’ll trouble you, Kakashi,” Muzuki said with a smile, not refusing.

Sometimes, accepting the kindness of others can bring both parties closer and deepen trust.

After washing the dishes, Kakashi and Muzuki went to the South Border Forest to train.

Muzuki’s treatment was effective; today, Kakashi showed no mental issues or physical fatigue, having temporarily returned to normal.

“Is this why you said I was weak? You can’t even stand straight after just one day of training,” Kakashi said, attacking Obito after his Total Concentration Breathing training.

“You… what do you know? You have no idea how tiring it is to maintain Total Concentration Breathing,” Obito said, his words a bit disjointed from exhaustion.

“No matter how tired you are, it’s still training. Can’t you be a bit tougher?” Kakashi intended to settle all the scores from the past few days at once.

Obito rolled his eyes and slumped to the ground, looking as if he had been exasperated by someone who didn’t understand the Breathing Technique.

Muzuki nodded inwardly; this was also a sign of recovery. As long as he had the energy to bicker with Obito, things were fine.

“Everyone, get some good rest when you go back. We have a mission tomorrow,” Muzuki announced.

Originally, Muzuki had planned to continue training his disciples until Obito’s birthday was over before taking on missions, but given Kakashi’s condition, Muzuki felt it was necessary to resolve Kakashi’s issues first.

Kakashi’s problem was difficult to solve within the village; he needed a little help from the outside.

Muzuki didn’t expect one mission to solve it. After all, there had already been two consecutive accidents, and even if he had a cheat, there shouldn’t be three consecutive accidents, so he needed to do more missions to find opportunities.

“Yay, another mission!” Obito’s eyes lit up as he struggled to stand.

Every mission he completed now served as conversation fodder with Rin Nohara and future bragging rights at the Ninja Academy.

While other classmates discussed the odd jobs they had done, he would show off his A-Rank and B-Rank mission experiences. Obito couldn’t even imagine how envious those classmates’ eyes would be.

“Everyone, please be careful and don’t get hurt,” Rin Nohara gently reminded them.

“Don’t worry, Rin, with me and Muzuki-sensei here, there won’t be any problems,” Obito said, patting his chest.

“Obito, are you underestimating my youth? At the necessary moment, I will protect my comrades with the most passionate youth!” Might Guy said with a bright, wide smile, revealing his sparkling white teeth.

“Then I’ll rephrase it: with Muzuki-sensei, me, and Guy here, there definitely won’t be any problems,” Obito said after some thought. The current Might Guy was indeed very strong; besides Shisui with his Sharingan activated, anyone who saw him would get a headache. He was truly difficult to deal with.

    Kakashi: …

“Muzuki-sensei and Guy are indeed reliable, but you? Forget it. If I hadn’t provided timely support during the last mission, you would have been severely injured,” Kakashi said, speaking without reservation when Obito provoked him.

“You’re too reckless in combat and think too little. You didn’t even notice your opponent was trading blows.”

“Obito, be careful during combat,” Rin Nohara said with some concern.

“That only happened because I went to help him!” Obito went full throttle, even bringing up old scores and recounting the time Kakashi was inactive for ten minutes during the mission before last.

“You’re very energetic, but save some energy for tomorrow’s mission,” Muzuki said with a smile after watching them for a while, putting an end to their argument.

Seeing Muzuki speak, the two temporarily ceased their fighting.

The next morning, Muzuki took his disciples to the Hokage Building to accept a mission.

“Are there any C-Rank Missions in the Land of Rivers today?” Muzuki asked directly.

The Land of Rivers was affected by the war between Kumogakure and Sunagakure, making it easier to find opportunities.

Actually, it was even easier to find opportunities in Land of Grass, because the Land of Rivers was only affected, and the war between Kumogakure and Sunagakure was mainly within the Land of Wind, while Iwagakure and Konoha were fighting in Land of Grass, which was equivalent to the main battlefield.

However, because of this, Land of Grass now basically had only war missions, which Muzuki’s team couldn’t take due to the presence of interns.

“The Land of Rivers, let me see,” the Registration Ninja began to flip through the mission list.

“There’s one to subjugate bandits near Sanchuan-cho, and another to escort a client back to the capital of the Land of Rivers.”

Although only two chapters were updated today, one of them was a 5k-character chapter, so the total word count is 7k.
