Chapter 56: Uchiha’s Alien
by Sunflower“Do you want to go back together?” Shisui asked Obito, who was putting away his test papers.
“Shisui, are you going back early today?” Obito asked, a little confused.
He and Shisui were both from the Uchiha Clan, and their homes weren’t far, but they rarely went back together because Shisui often stayed later than them.
It wasn’t that Obito didn’t want to train more, but he was worried Grandma would worry about him if he went back too late.
“Yes, Muzuki Sensei said to go back early today to get enough rest for tomorrow’s training,” Shisui nodded and said.
The reason he went back late every day was that there was no one at home anyway, so it was all the same wherever he was.
“Then Shisui, you really should get some good rest; tomorrow’s training will definitely be exhausting,” Obito reminded him, looking at Shisui with a hint of pity.
After all, since Muzuki said so, the training Shisui would face tomorrow was definitely not simple.
Muzuki hadn’t even reminded him to get good rest for his level of training.
“I probably guessed a bit; it should be to strengthen physical exercise,” Shisui said.
Muzuki had already said that the new Body Flicker Technique would put greater pressure on the legs, so physical training was definitely necessary.
“Maybe it will be joining your battles; I will also go all out then,” Shisui said jokingly.
“I hope not,” Obito clasped his hands and silently prayed to the Six Paths Sage.
He had watched Shisui practice the Body Flicker Technique while doing his questions; the speed was too fast, and he definitely wouldn’t be able to react in a battle.
If the opponent were Shisui, he would probably have to double the number of questions he had to do in one battle.
“It shouldn’t be; if it were, Muzuki Sensei would have definitely said so in advance,” Shisui couldn’t help but laugh, watching Obito’s devout praying.
To say something a little hurtful, neither Obito nor Might Guy could put any pressure on him right now, so Muzuki wouldn’t arrange for them to train together.
Unless Muzuki’s goal was to put pressure on Obito and the others.
As the two walked, Obito suddenly stopped, and Shisui looked back at Obito with some confusion.
“Shisui, wait a moment, there’s a Grandma over there who seems to need help,” Obito said, pointing to an old woman hunched over with a large bundle on her back.
Shisui looked in the direction Obito pointed; there was indeed an old woman on that street who seemed to be moving with difficulty.
“Is Obito’s observation so strong?” Shisui was a little startled; he hadn’t even noticed it just now.
After Obito understood the old woman’s difficulties, he immediately offered to help carry her luggage and take her to her destination.
“Grandma, I’m fine, don’t look at me like I’m still small; I’ll be a Ninja next year, and I’m very strong,” Obito patted his chest and said with a simple smile.
After speaking, Obito even performed a set of Taijutsu movements, which really did fool the Grandma, and she finally handed her luggage to Obito.
Obito walked in front, followed by the Grandma, and Shisui, walking at the very back, showed a thoughtful expression.
After helping the old woman, the two resumed their journey home, and after a while, Obito stopped again, helping another Grandma with a cane get home.
Shisui finally understood why Obito was called an anomaly.
The first principle Uchiha children learned was not respect for teachers or elders, but rather that the strong are revered, and Ninjutsu power comes first.
Nothing was more important than increasing one’s strength; as long as you were strong enough, nothing was a problem.
Shisui was not old, but his talent and strength were evident; even children several years older than him had to follow his lead.
Obito was different; he wasn’t very enthusiastic about training that could increase his strength, but he was very interested in helping elders.
Shisui thought that this might be the reason Obito could notice elders who needed help.
“Shisui.”
Upon entering the Uchiha Clan Compound, they gradually encountered familiar peers; Uchiha Tekka greeted Shisui after seeing him, but he looked at Obito standing beside Shisui with some confusion.
“Tekka,” Shisui also greeted him.
“Then I’m going home first,” Obito was eager to go back to see Grandma, so he directly said goodbye to Shisui and left.
He didn’t greet Uchiha Tekka because the two weren’t really close.
“Mm,” Shisui nodded and said.
“Shisui, why are you with him?” Uchiha Tekka asked curiously.
Before this exam, Obito had always been an oddity in his eyes within the Uchiha Clan Compound; he had poor grades, didn’t know how to improve, seemed silly, and his behavior was nothing like an Uchiha.
After the exam, he no longer had so many labels, but he still felt that Obito was a strange Uchiha.
This was not just his own opinion, but the consensus among Uchiha his age.
“Is something wrong?” Shisui asked.
“Uh, it’s just that I’m quite surprised, after all, he’s that Uchiha Obito,” Uchiha Tekka thought for a moment and said.
“Actually, once you get to know him, you’ll find that Obito is a very good person,” Shisui said.
Shisui didn’t explain much, and after a few brief words, he returned home.
“Could it be that Obito’s improvement in strength is because Shisui taught him some secret training method?” Uchiha Tekka thought as he watched Shisui’s retreating back.
He was a bit unwilling to be defeated by Obito and had been working hard on his training recently, just to regain face in the final exam.
…
In the morning, Shisui and Obito got up early and went to the training ground in the South Border Forest.
As Shisui had expected, Muzuki arranged a large amount of physical training for him.
Push-ups and squats were basic, and he also had to swim and run laps around Konoha; the training volume was much larger than Shisui had imagined.
“Is this kind of training too much for my age?” Shisui couldn’t help but ask.
Although some say that a Ninja’s body has infinite potential, the fact is that excessive training can leave hidden injuries.
Hearing Shisui say this, Obito curiously came over to take a look and was immediately stunned, suddenly feeling that his own training was very easy.
“Normally, such a large training volume would not be possible, but I have special secret medicine that can relieve fatigue and heal the body after training,” Muzuki said.
What Shisui didn’t know was that this was actually Muzuki’s reward for him for getting good rewards.
Because the secret medicine provided by the system was limited, Muzuki needed to keep two for future research, and the rest were one less each time one was used.
Among Muzuki’s current three disciples, only Might Guy could only follow the path of Taijutsu, and he had originally kept all of them for Might Guy.
However, seeing Shisui perform so well, he decided to take out two to give Shisui for intensified training.
Shisui’s potential was the highest among his current disciples, and Muzuki hoped that Shisui would enter the explosive growth period as soon as possible, as the Chakra provided by the disciple feedback to the master would then be quite substantial.
“Secret medicine?” Shisui was a little surprised; if it was a secret medicine with special effects, then it made sense.
Judging from Muzuki’s usual training plans, he was not a teacher who would unreasonably increase the training volume.
“Muzuki Sensei, how much does this secret medicine cost? My family left me a lot of money,” Shisui asked.
Although his grandparents and parents were gone, their assets were all left to him.
“You don’t need to worry about this; diligently completing your training is the best reward for me,” Muzuki said with a smile.
Looking at Muzuki’s sincere expression, Shisui was deeply moved; he could feel that these were Muzuki’s heartfelt words.
To be honest, the warmth Muzuki brought him was even more than what his uncle provided.
