Chapter Index

It was naturally impossible to teach Sealing Technique in a restaurant, so Kushina prepared to take Muzuki to the house where the Uzumaki Sealing Technique was set up.

That house had a lot of space; besides the room for her to rest, there were many rooms used for cultivation.

As Kushina led the way halfway, two Anbu Ninja wearing animal masks and black robes suddenly appeared and said,

“Do you intend to take him to that place? That is not allowed.”

“Why are there so many rules? What’s wrong with taking him there?” Kushina said, hands on her hips, in an annoyed tone.

Facing the two Anbu who had been monitoring her, Kushina didn’t want to give them any pleasantries.

“Besides, when Minato was here, I didn’t see you guys say anything.”

“Minato Namikaze was specially permitted; the situation is different,” the Anbu Ninja said calmly.

There were many reasons why Minato was allowed; Minato was not only intimately related to Kushina but also Jiraiya’s favored disciple, so the Konoha higher-ups were naturally willing to give him trust.

Muzuki showed a slightly surprised expression when he saw the two Anbu suddenly appear.

Of course, this was an act; Muzuki had already observed them with his Byakugan. The reason Muzuki accelerated his apparent Sealing Technique cultivation speed was also to use these two ‘cameras’ to build an image of himself as a talented Ninja.

“Since there’s a difficulty, let’s change places. There should be some quiet spots nearby,” Muzuki said with a gentle smile.

“If you say so, Muzuki, then that’s fine.” Kushina’s anger subsided a bit. She wasn’t afraid of the Anbu, but she had to consider Muzuki. Getting into a conflict with the Anbu was ultimately not good.

The faces under the Anbu masks also relaxed slightly, feeling that Muzuki was sensible. They also didn’t want to conflict with a Jinchuriki, but if they didn’t stop her, they would be seen as ineffective.

Finding a cool, secluded spot, Kushina began to explain Four Symbols Sealing to Muzuki.

“Four Symbols Sealing is a Sealing Technique with an extremely high upper limit. The stronger the user, the stronger the Four Symbols Sealing they cast will be, and it also has great potential. Some other powerful Sealing Techniques are developed based on Four Symbols Sealing.”

Muzuki nodded, recalling his memories of this Ninjutsu. It seemed to be true; Minato improved the Four Symbols Sealing, and using it twice could turn it into Eight Trigrams Sealing Style. There was also the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing, a Ninjutsu that resulted in mutual destruction.

The Reverse Four Symbols Sealing had no combat achievements, so let’s not discuss it for now. But Eight Trigrams Sealing Style was powerful. The first layer of Four Symbols was used to seal the Nine-Tailed, and the second layer of Four Symbols could convert the leaked Nine-Tailed Chakra into the Jinchuriki’s own Chakra.

What kind of concept was this? Even if Naruto didn’t train at all, his Chakra would grow rapidly just by relying on Eight Trigrams Sealing Style.

The lesson lasted for about three hours.

“I have to go back. Next time we meet, I’ll give you the Four Symbols Sealing cultivation scroll,” Kushina said, standing up.

She had limited time to be out each day and couldn’t stay outside indefinitely.

“What do you want for dinner? I’ll go prepare the ingredients,” Muzuki asked with a smile.

Kushina’s eyes lit up. She thought for a moment and said, “Braised pork, squirrel mandarin fish, and Magical Mapo Tofu.”

“Goodbye! Make sure to practice your Sealing Technique well, or Teacher Kushina can be very scary when she gets angry!” Thinking of the delicious meal she would have tonight, Kushina raised her arm and happily waved goodbye to Muzuki.

“Goodbye,” Muzuki said with a smile, nodding.

Then Muzuki sent out a Shadow Clone to buy groceries, while his main body went to the South Border Forest to teach his students.

“Teacher Muzuki.” Shisui, who was practicing, temporarily stopped and greeted Muzuki.

He couldn’t tell if it was a Shadow Clone by sight, but Muzuki who came during training was usually the main body.

Muzuki smiled and nodded in response, then began to give instructions.

When the training time was almost up, Muzuki told the two to stop training and rest, chatting.

“Teacher Muzuki, was your mission successful this time?” Rin Nohara asked curiously.

Because this time she hadn’t seen Obito or Might Guy come here. Usually, if they had time after a mission, they would come over.

“We encountered a few twists and turns, but the outcome was quite good,” Muzuki replied after some thought.

The process was difficult, but everyone gained something.

“Hearing that from Teacher Muzuki makes me feel much more at ease. I’ve always been worried that Obito and Kakashi would argue during missions.” Rin Nohara looked relieved and smiled.

“They both clearly care about each other, but neither is willing to say it,” Rin Nohara sighed.

From her perspective, both of them were tsundere; even if they were worried about each other, all they would say were cutting remarks.

“Perhaps they enjoy it,” Muzuki said with a chuckle.

He felt that if one day Kakashi’s words to Obito weren’t aggressive, Obito might even feel unaccustomed to it.

“Eh, is that so?” Rin Nohara was a little surprised.

    “Just my guess.”

“If that’s really the case, then Kakashi and Obito get along very well every day,” Rin Nohara said softly with her hands clasped together, smiling.

Muzuki glanced at Rin Nohara. In his previous life, he was also quite curious about who Rin Nohara truly liked.

She cared deeply for Obito, helping him with various matters and quickly bandaging him when he was injured. She was also very attentive to Kakashi, quickly gathering their friends to celebrate when Kakashi was promoted to Jonin.

He wasn’t sure who twelve-year-old Rin Nohara liked, but based on his observations over the past few months, Muzuki found that eight-year-old Rin Nohara didn’t like anyone romantically; neither Kakashi nor Obito had reached the level of affection.

Rin Nohara’s care for Obito was like that for a younger brother; she would worry about Obito’s safety and help him when he was reckless.

As for Kakashi, Rin Nohara had a bit of a girlish admiration for him, plus the feelings of a good friend.

If he had to say who she liked, currently Muzuki thought Kakashi had a better chance, because Rin Nohara’s feelings for Obito were somewhat akin to familial affection. While very close, it was unlikely to lead to a romantic relationship.

However, this was just a simple deduction by Muzuki. He couldn’t say for sure what would happen in the future, as the three of them were too young now. It was possible that Rin Nohara might not like either of them later on.

In the evening, Kakashi woke up from his bed, made himself a simple dinner, and after eating and taking a short walk, Kakashi began to practice Thunder Breathing.

Obito’s Sharingan put a lot of pressure on him, and Might Guy was waiting for him to challenge him. Kakashi wished he could travel back in time and use all the time he had wasted before for training.

Kakashi set up a training log in the yard, then walked to the edge of the yard, drew his White Fang Short Blade, took a stance, and closed his eyes.

He was recalling the move he had used during the mission, a Breathing Technique sword style he had created by combining Hatake Sword Style and Thunder Breathing.

“Hmph.” Kakashi’s breathing rhythm slowly changed, allowing his breath to carry Chakra and condense it in his feet.

    “Thunderclap Flash!”

    Whoosh!

Kakashi suddenly opened his eyes, Chakra exploded in his feet, a lightning sound rang out, and he shot out like a bolt of lightning.

    Thud!

The wooden stake instantly split in two and fell to the ground, with an incredibly smooth cut.

“This move still needs to be perfected.” Kakashi stood in place, thinking for a while before coming to a conclusion.

The first time he used it, he didn’t have time to analyze too much. Now, using it again, Kakashi found a problem.

Speed, the speed of this move was too fast.

While speed was a good thing, if it was so fast that it exceeded his own reaction time, then it wasn’t entirely good.

With such a linear charge, if someone saw through the nature and trajectory of the skill, he would become quite passive, not only difficult to hit but also very dangerous.

After thinking for a while, Kakashi came up with a solution: if Thunderclap Flash could turn, it would become much more flexible.

“I’ll ask Teacher Muzuki during training tomorrow.” Then Kakashi thought of Muzuki. Muzuki’s speed was faster than his Thunderclap Flash, but Muzuki clearly didn’t have this problem.

Kakashi washed up and went to bed when it was ten o’clock.

    The next day.

“That was a good sleep.” Obito stretched and felt refreshed.

“Why is it still so bright? I feel like I’ve slept for a long time.” Looking at the sunlight streaming through the window, Obito scratched his head.

He looked at the time and froze. The hour hand was pointing at the number nine.

Looking at the bright sun outside, Obito knew it definitely wasn’t nine o’clock at night, and he had come back at noon.

“That means I slept from noon yesterday until nine in the morning!” Obito’s eyes widened. He hadn’t expected himself to sleep so much; he had almost slept for a whole day.

For a moment, Obito thought of many things. He regretted not waking up at night and sharing his heroic achievements with Rin Nohara.

“No, this isn’t the time to regret that, I’m late!” Obito suddenly remembered that he still had to train as usual today.

“Grandma, why didn’t you wake me up?” Obito quickly went downstairs and asked.

“I saw how tired you were, so I thought I’d let you sleep a bit longer,” Grandma said with a kind smile.

Facing his caring family member, Obito couldn’t bring himself to blame her. He grabbed a piece of bread, stuffed it into his mouth, and ran towards the South Border Forest.

By the time Obito arrived, Muzuki had already been training his disciples for some time.

“Late on the first day after the mission ended?” Kakashi, who was learning Armament Haki, immediately scoffed.

“Obito usually isn’t late without a reason. He must have gone to help an old person, right?” Rin Nohara said softly.

Rin Nohara’s words made Obito scratch his head a little sheepishly. Usually, he was indeed late because he was helping people, but today it really wasn’t the case.

“Hehe, I accidentally overslept.” Obito didn’t use a lie to defend himself but said the truth with an embarrassed expression.

“It’s fine, after all, this mission was too tiring. Let’s start training,” Muzuki said with a smile.

Obito showed a relaxed smile, knowing that Muzuki wouldn’t care about such small matters.

“Kakashi, I challenge you.” At noon, Obito eagerly challenged Kakashi.

I bought eye drops recommended by the reader group online, hope they work. Today, I can probably only do about 6k7 words.
