Chapter Index

The number of people in Group B was quite a bit more than in Group A, so when Obito arrived, Group B was still undergoing their practical combat test.

Obito scanned the surrounding students and quickly found Rin Nohara’s figure.

Obito walked towards Rin Nohara with an excited smile and said, “Rin, you don’t know how amazing I was just now. Guy was already gaining the upper hand, but I still defeated him.”

Rin Nohara turned at the sound of Obito’s voice and asked somewhat confusedly, “Has Group A’s test already finished?”

“Yes, it’s finished. I’m in second place, only losing to Shisui,” Obito couldn’t help but tell Rin Nohara his good result.

“You finally defeated Guy! That means you’ve made great progress, Obito. You never beat Guy in the practical combat tests when we were in school before,” Rin Nohara praised him with a gentle smile, happy for Obito’s improvement.

Last semester, Obito’s strength improved by leaps and bounds, even defeating Uchiha Tekka, who was previously first, but Might Guy, who also made rapid progress, became the roadblock on Obito’s path to first place.

With Might Guy there, Obito had taken second place in the grade but never first in the class.

So, knowing that Obito had finally defeated Might Guy, Rin Nohara was very happy for him; this indicated that Obito’s strength had made considerable progress.

“Hehe, actually, I had a chance to defeat him before, but each time I was just a little bit off,” Obito explained with a simple smile, very happy to receive Rin Nohara’s praise.

If it were purely based on theoretical strength, his strength was actually at a disadvantage in this battle; it was mainly his strategy during the fight that led him to victory.

“Oh, right, Rin, how were your results? Did you make it into the top ten?” Obito asked.

“No, I feel like everyone’s strength has improved very quickly,” Rin Nohara replied, shaking her head.

Her practical combat ability was only at a mid-level in Class B; how could she possibly get into the top ten?

“Is that so? How about I teach you how to get stronger?” Obito said with enthusiasm, feeling that Rin Nohara seemed a bit disappointed in her own strength.

“Okay!” Rin Nohara thought of Obito’s rapidly improving strength and nodded with a smile.

Obito led Rin Nohara to the side, then pondered what he should teach her.

He definitely couldn’t teach her things like Shave, Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique, or Leaf Whirlwind, because those were taught to him by Muzuki, and he couldn’t teach them without Muzuki’s permission.

Obito thought of Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique; although Muzuki had also taught him this, he already knew it beforehand.

“How about you learn the Great Fireball Technique with me, Rin? Although it’s a C-rank Fire Release, its power is very strong,” Obito decided to teach Rin Nohara the Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.

“First is the hand seals.” Obito quickly completed the hand seals for the Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.

“Then, you convert the Chakra inside your body into flames, and finally, like blowing up a balloon, you blow out a large fireball,” Obito said, gesturing with both hands.

Rin Nohara looked at Obito with a face full of question marks.

“Didn’t you understand, Rin?” Obito scratched his head; he felt that he had explained it quite thoroughly, maybe he had the makings of a good teacher.

“It’s just like this, then like that, and finally, you blow it out like blowing up a balloon,” Obito gestured again.

Rin Nohara was momentarily unsure how to evaluate Obito’s teaching level; she could tell that Obito genuinely wanted to teach her the Great Fireball Technique, but his teaching was really quite abstract.

“Obito, thank you for your intentions, but I don’t even know my own Nature Transformation yet,” Rin Nohara said helplessly.

Everyone in the Ninja World is born with a Chakra nature, and cultivating the Nature Transformation of their innate attribute is easier and faster.

“Is that so?” Obito scratched his hair, a bit regretful that he couldn’t help Rin Nohara.

He decided that when he trained tonight, he would ask Muzuki how to teach people to get stronger; the all-knowing Muzuki-sensei would definitely be able to solve his problem.

With the teaching plan a failure, Obito started chatting with Rin Nohara until a commotion broke out on the Training Ground.

“It must be that all the tests are over, and Muzuki-sensei is announcing the results,” Rin Nohara said, looking at the crowd gathered in front of the bulletin board.

“Come on, Rin, let’s go take a look too!” Obito enthusiastically led Rin Nohara towards the bulletin board.

Although he knew his own results, Obito wanted to see if anyone would praise him for being amazing.

However, as he walked over, Obito surprisingly found that the most discussed topic was not him, nor even Shisui, who was in first place, but Ebisu, who had just entered Group A last week.

“You wouldn’t believe what happened during Group C’s test just now. Two people used Clone Technique to create alluring female clones to confuse their opponents in combat.”

“Oh, oh, I know about that, but they didn’t develop that, did they? I remember it was developed by Ebisu, who was promoted to Group A last time.”

    “Right, right, he developed it.”

“I know that Guy. He usually seems quite proper, but I never expected…”

Listening to the discussions around him, Obito was utterly bewildered, unsure what had happened to make everyone discuss Ebisu instead of the top two from Group A.

And the more Obito listened, the more outrageous it got, eventually evolving into Ebisu using Clone Technique to create alluring female clones to confuse opponents during combat.

Obito mused that he hadn’t seen any alluring female clones appear when Ebisu fought.

Obito was still thinking of finding Ebisu to ask about the situation, but he found that perhaps because his results were poor this time and he lost in the first round, Ebisu had left after the test ended, and Obito couldn’t find him.

After announcing the test results, Muzuki returned directly to his home in the Main urban area, and the system still did not show any pop-up windows regarding the test.

Back home, Muzuki began preparing to make Illusory Mapo Tofu.

The biggest difference between the Illusory Mapo Tofu recipe given to him by the system and the Mapo Tofu he remembered was that it required soybeans.

To be precise, it was “meat” made from soybeans.

The soybeans were soaked in water, then cooked in broth, then flattened and seasoned with sauce to give them a meaty texture, and finally, the flavor of the sauce was locked in through quick deep-frying.

The fried soybeans were then added to the Mapo Tofu, adding another flavor to the Mapo Tofu, creating Illusory Mapo Tofu.

When Muzuki finished, he covered the serving dish with a lid, adding a sense of ceremony.

Soon, Kushina and Minato knocked on Muzuki’s door.

As soon as Minato and Kushina entered, they saw the cover on the dining table, which was not usually there.

“Why is there a cover this time?” Kushina asked casually.

“Maybe he’s afraid the food will get cold? He started cooking a bit earlier than usual today,” Minato speculated.

“Don’t guess, you’ll know when you open the cover,” Muzuki said with a smile as he brought the remaining two dishes to the dining table.

“I’ll do it!” Kushina quickly stepped forward and directly lifted the cover.
