Chapter Index

On Monday morning, Ninja Academy began its first examination of the second semester for the current academic year.

Unlike the last exam, Muzuki had been promoted this time, so he no longer needed to draw lots to decide which class to supervise. Muzuki could choose to patrol the various classes in the First Grade, or he could quietly sit in the office and drink tea.

However, since he was idle, Muzuki sent a Shadow Clone to wander around for a few rounds before returning to the office, while his main body went to cultivate.

Muzuki did not use a Ninjutsu Proficiency Scroll for Contract Seal but cultivated it to proficiency level himself.

Because there was no longer such an urgent need for Sealing Technique, Muzuki felt that with his talent in Sealing Technique, he could research it himself and save the proficiency scrolls for later.

In terms of physique, Muzuki had already acquired proficient-level Rock Breathing for over two and a half months. Under the 24-hour training of Constant State, he tested his physique once a week, and each time there was improvement.

After two months, the rate of improvement began to gradually decrease, but it was still better than conventional training.

Muzuki did not spend too much thought on the five basic Ninjutsu because, according to his observation and assessment of other Ninja, his current Ninjutsu level was quite sufficient. Therefore, he only researched various combinations of his Ninjutsu and how to release Combination Ninjutsu in combat.

Muzuki felt that what he truly lacked was Chakra and combat experience.

He had a very high level of Nature Transformation and many proficient Ninjutsu, and the power of his Ninjutsu was so great that Muzuki dared not release it at full power for fear of attracting the Anbu.

If he were to release Ninjutsu at full power, Muzuki felt that the power of his Ninjutsu would definitely be at the Hokage level, but if he were to bombard wildly like that, he would quickly run out of Chakra.

To describe it vividly, Muzuki’s outlet was very large, but the amount of water stored in him was not much. Although it wasn’t as bad as a certain mage who could only use explosion magic and would be exhausted after one spell, compared to his output capability, his Chakra was indeed not much.

As for combat experience, that was something he couldn’t help. Muzuki had no opportunity to fight with full power to test his level, unless he wanted to be suspected of being a spy and then be invited by the Anbu or Root for tea.

Therefore, Muzuki currently had no other practical combat experience apart from some Root training experience that came with the original owner.

Muzuki was diligently working to make up for these two deficiencies.

In terms of Chakra, Muzuki was already striving to obtain Chakra rewards. In the first month of the new semester, he basically spent all his time accumulating Chakra, gaining approximately 1,180 Chakra points through classes.

Regarding combat experience, Muzuki’s current idea was to split off Shadow Clones, have the Shadow Clones fight each other, and then have the memories flow back to the main body to gain experience. Whether the effect was good or not was another matter, but it was better than doing nothing.

Besides the Shadow Clone training method, Muzuki also had another idea that could not only increase his practical combat experience but also train his disciples.

However, it was not the best time to propose this idea yet; he would have to wait until he had achieved better results and the war had progressed for some time before it would be a good time to propose it.

The next day, Muzuki went to the practical exam site for Class 1, Grade 1 to observe the students’ overall combat performance.

He planned to go see Might Guy and Obito on the third day during the Grade Level Practical Exam.

With the previous summer training promotion reward, Muzuki now also attached great importance to the improvement of the students’ strength in Class 1, Grade 1.

“Director Habsheng.” The two proctoring teachers greeted Muzuki with a smile.

The proctoring teachers this time were not very familiar with Muzuki; their relationship was probably that of colleagues who knew each other’s names.

“Teacher Kikuta, Teacher Murashima.” Muzuki responded with a smile.

Originally, when Murashima saw Muzuki coming, he felt a bit of pressure, thinking that he must be cautious when grading later. However, after a brief chat with Muzuki, Murashima relaxed.

Muzuki himself was as gentle and friendly as his reputation at the Ninja Academy suggested. Although his position and Ninja rank were higher than ordinary teachers, he did not show any superior leadership demeanor.

To be honest, Murashima was a little surprised when Muzuki called out his name, because he remembered only speaking to Muzuki once, and he didn’t expect Muzuki to remember him.

“Sigh, our opponents are all First Grade students. I feel a bit unmotivated,” Kotetsu Hagane said with a regretful expression, his arms crossed.

“Yeah, I feel like it’s going to be like bullying kids during the match later,” Izumo Kamizuki nodded in agreement.

“Aren’t you First Grade students too? Anyone who didn’t know would think you were amazing in the special training, but you couldn’t even get past three rounds in the practical test,” Anko Mitarashi couldn’t help but retort.

She, a top player in Group C, hadn’t complained yet, but those two were putting on airs.

“Not getting past three rounds was just bad luck for us, Anko, you don’t understand. Our Ninja path is already smooth sailing now that we’ve been successfully remembered by the Hokage,” Kotetsu Hagane retorted.

“Your Ninjutsu is useless! If you ran into me, I’d definitely beat you until you were looking for your teeth all over the ground!” Anko waved her fists twice, a Taijutsu warning.

For a moment, Kotetsu Hagane and Izumo Kamizuki didn’t dare to boast anymore. They admitted that Anko was quite strong now.

“Number one, Uchiha Shisui; number two, Anko Mitarashi, prepare for the exam.” The proctoring teacher’s voice reached the three of them.

“Hahaha, it seems you won’t have a chance to meet us, Anko.” Izumo Kamizuki was overjoyed. Although Anko only had one person she couldn’t beat in the First Grade, she happened to encounter the only one she couldn’t beat in the very first match.

“Someone’s not even going to make it past the second round. I’m not saying who it is.” Kotetsu Hagane’s confidence instantly soared.

“Damn it, you two, don’t leave after the exam!” Anko looked depressed, not expecting Shisui to be number one.

It was the first time Murashima and the others had proctored in the First Grade this school year, and after watching Anko and Shisui’s battle, they were instantly astonished.

“Judging by First Grade standards, I can’t deduct any points from them,” Murashima stated directly.

The two’s battle was completely unlike what First Grade students should be capable of; it was more akin to a Fourth Grade class final or the Grade Level Practical Exam.

Although Anko lost, Murashima still gave Anko a perfect score in the end. It wasn’t that Anko wasn’t strong enough, but rather that her opponent was stronger.

After the first round of battles in Class 1, Grade 1 ended, Murashima looked at the score sheet in his hand, questioning reality. He felt that if he submitted this, he would be called in for questioning; the average score was too high.

Murashima glanced at the score sheet in the other teacher’s hand, and seeing that it was similar to his, he breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn’t that he had given too many points, but that Class 1, Grade 1 had truly performed well.

“There should be a promotion reward in another half a month to a month,” Muzuki thought to himself, looking at the performance of Class 1, Grade 1.

After watching the first round and observing all the students’ battles, Muzuki left.

On the third day, Muzuki went to the location of the Fourth Grade’s Grade Level Practical Exam.
