Chapter Index

Although Ōtsutsuki Urashiki and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki came to Konoha with ill intentions, they actually did a good deed with their bad intentions this time.

Firstly, their immense power made the higher echelons of the Ninja World even more determined to follow the path set by Muzuki.

Originally, it was only out of personal trust in Muzuki that no one among the Ninja World’s high-ranking officials questioned the matters concerning the Ōtsutsuki.

But now, with the facts laid bare, no one dares to disbelieve the threat of the Ōtsutsuki.

After all, even the Five Kage, who stand at the pinnacle of the Ninja World, couldn’t even hold back Ōtsutsuki Isshiki before he revived, and were easily defeated.

Even the slightly weaker Ōtsutsuki Urashiki demonstrated the ability to slaughter elite Ninja.

It could be said that without Muzuki, Ōtsutsuki Urashiki could have crippled the Five Great Ninja Villages just by relying on his Space-Time Ninjutsu to wage guerrilla warfare.

Thanks to Ōtsutsuki Urashiki and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, the Ninja World Alliance gained stronger momentum in its development and became more united, allowing Muzuki’s plan to proceed more smoothly.

Furthermore, the half of Jigen’s body left behind by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki made a huge contribution to the research of the “Karma.”

Compared to Boruto, a “vessel” who had only recently acquired “Karma,” Jigen’s body, which had been parasitized by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki for over a thousand years, was more suitable for research.

In just over ten days, they obtained two inferences through their research.

One: The thawing of “Karma” is irreversible; it can only continuously increase and not decrease.

Even if “Karma” could disappear, the thawed data would still not disappear with the disappearance of “Karma,” but would remain within the “vessel’s” body.

Two: “Karma” can delay the thawing time by suppressing the body.

However, this is currently only a possibility. Due to the short time, Muzuki and Orochimaru have not yet developed specific drugs, nor can they determine the effect of delaying the thawing.

But this is still good news for Boruto.

Although it’s not a complete cure, at least it can be treated, instead of being completely clueless with no solutions.

In addition, Muzuki also independently researched the “Karma.”

He couldn’t fully understand its time-space travel aspect, but he did discover that the “Karma” could be manually recharged, so Muzuki conveniently helped to fully charge its energy.

The “Karma” primarily relies on an internal core that Muzuki couldn’t quite understand for time-space travel; Chakra is secondary and not in particularly high demand.

After Muzuki informed them of this, Sasuke and Boruto discussed for a while and decided to use the “Karma” to travel back first to check the situation.

If there were no problems, they would then travel back to Muzuki’s world.

Muzuki’s world has Ōtsutsuki Urashiki and Jigen as research materials, making it more likely to treat Boruto’s “Karma.”

    Muzuki understood this.

Sasuke and Boruto had been in their world for almost a month now; this wasn’t some overseas trip, they weren’t even in the same world anymore, so it was perfectly normal for them to be worried.

Therefore, Muzuki did not stop them and even offered to give their world the research data on “Karma” and a portion of Jigen’s body tissue.

However, the price was that Boruto and the others would have to bring their world’s more advanced Chakra technology to Muzuki’s world in the future.

Muzuki planned to have Celebi record the coordinates of the second parallel world at that time, and he would personally go there when he had time to see what good technologies they had.

As the Ninja University’s opening approached, Muzuki invited Sasuke and Boruto to attend the Ninja University’s opening ceremony together, and then travel back after the event.

On the day of the opening ceremony.

A large number of Ninja poured into Six Paths City to attend this rare grand event in the Ninja World.

Since its establishment, the Ninja World Alliance has shown extraordinary emphasis on education.

As an unprecedented institution of higher education for Ninja, the Ninja University has received a large amount of resources from the Ninja World Alliance.

Therefore, although the Ninja University was a new concept to the Ninja World, under the vigorous promotion of the Ninja World Alliance, it had already become well-known to many Ninja in the Ninja World.

Everyone knew that there was now a Ninja University that only Ninja could attend.

Unlike the previous Ninja Academys used to train Ninja, the Ninja University aims to cultivate Ninja into elites.

In this school, even ordinary commoners, as long as they have sufficient learning ability, can master Ninjutsu and secret techniques that were previously controlled by the major Ninja Villages.

Furthermore, the Ninja University does not only recruit Ninja with Ninja talents; those with research talent are also welcome.

It’s not that Muzuki didn’t plan to establish a normal university for non-Ninja scientists to research technology.

It’s just that some research is better suited for Ninja.

Among the large number of Ninja attending the opening ceremony were the first batch of Ninja University students admitted from various parts of the Ninja World, as well as various famous Ninja from the Ninja World.

All the leaders of the Ninja Villages, including the Five Kage, rushed to the opening ceremony site to attend the grand event.

“Next, let us welcome our esteemed Ninja University Principal, Leader Mu Yue, to the stage to deliver his speech. Please give a warm round of applause to welcome Leader Mu Yue!”

After the host explained the Ninja Academy, he solemnly invited Muzuki to speak on stage with a magnetic voice.

    Clap! Clap!

Instantly, thunderous applause erupted in the venue.

Today, Muzuki is no longer just a powerful Ninja; for the Ninja World, he is an unprecedented leader of the Ninja World.

    Many Ninja sincerely respect Muzuki.

Muzuki possesses immense power but does not abuse it. Even after defeating the Village leaders and elites, Muzuki did not resort to slaughter or allow Konoha and the Shinobi Sect to rule the world, but instead chose to unite.

Coupled with the rapid development of the Ninja World under the leadership of the Ninja World Alliance, how could such a Muzuki not be admired?

    “Truly impressive.”

Sasuke observed the expressions of the people around him, his heart filled with reverence.

Even when Naruto won the Fourth Great Ninja War, he didn’t have the same prestige among Ninja as Muzuki.

Among the many Ninja present, whether they were strangers Sasuke didn’t know, or Ninja who once shook the Ninja World like the Third Raikage and Third Tsuchikage, all had expressions of respect.

“Hello everyone, I am the first principal of the Ninja Academy, Hayate Mugetsu.”

Muzuki slowly walked onto the stage and smiled as he greeted the crowd.

    “Leader Mu Yue!”

    “Lord Mu Yue!”

    “Muzuki Sensei!”

Everyone excitedly responded. It wasn’t until Muzuki gestured with his palm downwards, signaling for silence, that the venue quieted down again.

“More than thirty years ago, starting from Konoha, various Ninja Villages successively established Ninja Academys, and children of appropriate age could take exams to enroll.”

Muzuki did not give a lengthy lecture admonishing students to study hard or face consequences, but instead spoke about history.

He first spoke about the origin of the Ninja Academy, and then about the tragic wars of the Warring States Period, where even children had to go to the battlefield to fight.

Regarding the Warring States Period, there are many works in the Ninja World. Some like to write about the heroic spirit of the Warring States Period, when many famous strong individuals emerged, such as Senju Hashirama, who was known as the God of Shinobi.

Others like to write about the struggles between the great Ninja clans during the Warring States Period.

Senju, Uchiha, Hyuga, and other famous clans in the Ninja World used various means to contend for the title of the top Ninja clan.

But the Warring States Period in Muzuki’s words had no heroes or strong individuals, only the tragedy of war and bloody slaughter.

“After the Ninja Academy was established, even though wars still existed, absurd and tragic things like five-year-old children going to the battlefield didn’t happen anymore.

Besides wanting to cultivate talents beneficial to the development of the Ninja World, I also hope that if internal wars break out in the Ninja World again in the future, they will not affect minors.”

Muzuki did not shy away from the possibility of internal wars.

Even the world he was in had not yet achieved true world peace.

Muzuki was unsure how long the peace in the Ninja World would last, but he sincerely hoped that if wars broke out in the Ninja World again in the future, there would no longer be scenes of eight- or nine-year-olds or eleven- or twelve-year-olds holding Kunai with cold expressions, charging into enemy lines.

“Children are the flowers of the Ninja World, the future of the Ninja World. The battlefield should not be their place.”

Upon hearing Muzuki’s words, Sasuke felt a bit awkward.

Even until he traveled through time, Konoha in their world still only had a six-year Ninja Academy.

In other words, if war broke out again, it would be normal for teenagers to go to the battlefield.

If it became more intense, the early graduation system would have to be brought out, and then it would be eight- or nine-year-olds going out.

If Sasuke were just a Ninja with no great ideals, a conservative Ninja, he might not have cared about Muzuki’s words.

After all, it had been like this for decades in the Ninja Village era; everyone was like this, and no one seemed to have any major problems.

But just because it has always been this way, does that make it right?

No one understood the darkness of the Village better than Sasuke, because his family had suffered greatly from it.

If war hadn’t affected minors, even if his brother was a genius, he wouldn’t have been able to complete his studies at seven years old, and thus wouldn’t have been dragged into the dark whirlpool so early.

Would a more mature Uchiha Itachi not have gone down the path of clan annihilation?

Sasuke had actually harbored revolutionary thoughts for a long time, but after his fight with Naruto, he felt his methods weren’t good enough, so he gave up.

Now that Sasuke saw a thriving and peaceful Ninja World, the fire of revolution in his heart ignited once more.

    “The Ninja World needs change!”

    Sasuke thought silently.

Directly implementing educational reform was impossible; Konoha alone couldn’t build a Ninja University, and those old high-ranking Konoha officials wouldn’t agree to such radical educational reform.

The current Sasuke was no longer the impulsive youth he once was; it was very difficult to transform their world’s Ninja World into something like Muzuki’s.

However, Muzuki was a good person, and Sasuke felt he would be willing to answer some of his questions.

Once Sasuke grasped everything, that would be the time for his world to undergo change.

“May this world be better tomorrow.”

Finally, Muzuki concluded his speech with a blessing for the world.

“May this world be better tomorrow!”

The crowd below the stage excitedly repeated Muzuki’s words.

Although Muzuki hadn’t said a single word to encourage studying, the new students below the stage were already eager to immediately start class and study hard.

They wanted to do something for this world, which was once full of war and slaughter, just like Muzuki, to make the world better.

    “Next, please welcome…”

Besides Muzuki, the Five Kage of the Five Great Ninja Villages also had to give speeches one by one.

However, their speeches were short and focused on practical matters.

After the opening ceremony, the crowd gradually dispersed; those interested in the Ninja Academy itself began to tour the school, while those who had only come to observe quickly left.

Sasuke and Boruto did not hide their departure time, and Uchiha Itachi and others came to see them off.

    “Blondie, where is your home?”

    Naruto asked.

“I’m not trying to come play with you; I’m just worried you’ll badmouth me elsewhere.”

Boruto’s face was covered in black lines; why was this little dad so tsundere?

“It’s a very, very distant place.”

    Boruto said casually.

“You have to promise me one thing: when you grow up and work, pay attention to your time and don’t forget your family. Otherwise, I won’t just badmouth you, I’ll do it every day.”

    Boruto reminded him seriously.

Although it wasn’t the same world, he still hoped that this world’s “Boruto” could experience more of his father’s love.

“You annoying blond brat, why are you so mean? You want to badmouth me every day.”

    Naruto’s eyes widened.

    “So just promise me.”

    Boruto retorted.

“Leader Mu Yue, thank you for your trouble these past few days. The next time I come, I would like to ask you some questions.”

Sasuke ignored the peculiar “father and son” next to him and solemnly thanked Muzuki.

“You can come find me when I’m free.”

    Muzuki replied with a smile.

“Mr. Suigetsu, the next time we meet, can you tell me about your experiences? This time, I want to hear your story.”

Seeing that Sasuke had finished speaking with Muzuki, Uchiha Itachi looked at Sasuke with a serious expression and asked.

Sasuke thought for a moment and then waved to Uchiha Itachi.

Uchiha Itachi walked up to Sasuke.

    Slap.

Sasuke crouched down to be at eye level with Uchiha Itachi, then lightly tapped Uchiha Itachi’s head with his finger, “Next time, for sure.”

With that, Sasuke smiled faintly and stood up, preparing to take Boruto to an uninhabited area.

Crossing worlds in public wasn’t a good idea.

“Keep it up! You can definitely defeat ‘Karma’.”

    Obito cheered Boruto on.

“Mm, Big Brother Obito, you can definitely become Hokage too.”

    Boruto responded.

“Grandpa Muzuki, Big Brother Obito… smelly dad, everyone, goodbye.”

Boruto reluctantly bid farewell to everyone.

His “father” who liked to shout nonsense, the cute version of “Mr. Sasuke”, the omnipotent Sage Muzuki, the helpful and passionate Big Brother Obito…

In less than a month in the parallel world, Boruto had gained a lot of happiness.

Boruto was truly worried that once he left, he wouldn’t be able to return, after all, crossing worlds was bizarre in every sense.

    “Goodbye.”

Little Sasuke said goodbye with a grin. That “Suigetsu” had left, and now no one would compete with him for his brother.

“Smelly dad? Is his dad here?”

Naruto looked around but didn’t see any stranger who looked like Boruto, feeling a bit confused for a moment.

After watching the two leave, Muzuki also left with his people.

In the afternoon, Ninja University officially began classes.

As the class bell rang, the students in the lecture hall sat down or stood up, then looked expectantly at the door until the golden figure walked into the classroom.

    “Lord Mu Yue!”

    “Teacher Muzuki!”

The Ninja in the classroom enthusiastically greeted Muzuki as he entered.

Muzuki also had classes at Ninja University, twice a week, one afternoon each time.

Today, Muzuki’s class was Shinobi Sect Thought, and the other was Chakra Fundamentals.

Because everyone knew it was Muzuki’s class, some students and even teachers who didn’t have classes came to this classroom to listen.

Due to the large number of people, Muzuki couldn’t respond to everyone individually, so he just smiled and nodded to everyone.

Muzuki placed his lesson plan on the table and looked at the students.

Many familiar Ninja were among them.

“It’s so good to have Teacher Muzuki’s class again.”

    Anko looked excited.

“Anko, don’t mess around this time. We don’t want to lose face to the entire Ninja World with you.”

    Kotetsu Hagane reminded her.

Ninja University was different from Konoha; there were students from all over the Ninja World. Losing face here truly meant losing it internationally.

    Izumo Kamizuki nodded in agreement.

“Teacher Muzuki is so handsome when he lectures. Rin, when you teach, I’ll help you record it. I feel like it’ll be different from your usual self.”

    Obito exclaimed.

Unlike Rin Nohara, who had already become a medical department teacher, Obito was neither a student nor a teacher; he had simply snuck in to listen to the lecture.

    “Alright.”

Rin Nohara readily agreed, smiling gently.

“Teaching and nurturing is also very youthful!”

Thinking of this, Might Guy looked forward to Lee and the others growing up; he really liked “his” three disciples.

“Graduating too early isn’t necessarily a good thing.”

    Kakashi said, looking at Shisui.

Kakashi returning to the classroom didn’t evoke much emotion, as he had entered and graduated Ninja Academy at five years old, barely having studied there at all.

Shisui’s study period was longer than Kakashi’s, but he was the type who graduated extremely quickly.

“If there’s nothing urgent, completing your studies fully is indeed very good.”

Shisui nodded and looked at Muzuki as he replied.

In his opinion, being Muzuki’s student and attending his classes was simply a pleasure. If one could be taught by Muzuki all the way until completing their studies, that would be one of the happiest things in the world.

    “Indeed.”

    Nagato said with agreement.

Having lost his family as a child, he had never attended school, and thus understood the importance of schooling even more.

“Did you hear what the seniors said? Study hard.”

    Kakashi casually tapped Yamato’s head.

Unlike the others, Yamato was a student at Ninja Academy.

Yamato looked at Kakashi with a wronged expression; he wasn’t refusing to learn, so why was he tapping his head?

After a customary self-introduction, Muzuki faced everyone and asked a question.

“Does everyone know who founded the Shinobi Sect?”

    “Six Paths Sage!”

Anko stood up at lightning speed and blurted out the answer.

“Very good. Then do you know why the Six Paths Sage created the Shinobi Sect?”

Muzuki smiled and continued to ask.

    “I don’t know.”

Anko scratched her head, realizing she didn’t recall.

    “For peace.”

Nagato stood up and answered solemnly.

“That’s right. The Six Paths Sage created the Shinobi Sect not for wealth or fame, but for world peace.”

Muzuki turned around and wrote the two large characters for ‘Peace’ on the blackboard.

“The Six Paths Sage hoped to use Chakra to connect the bonds between people, thereby creating a world without war where everyone could live in peace. That’s how the original Shinobi Sect came to be.”

Muzuki began by speaking about the origin of the ancient Shinobi Sect. He praised the Six Paths Sage’s character and objectively pointed out the shortcomings of the ancient Shinobi Sect.

While the Six Paths Sage was great, he was still limited by the constraints of his era.

The era the Six Paths Sage lived in was too ancient; by the time of the current Ninja World, many still believed the Six Paths Sage was a mythical figure who didn’t exist.

When they heard Muzuki recount the deeds of the Six Paths Sage and the Shinobi Sect in a flowing narrative, they didn’t find it boring at all; on the contrary, they found it very interesting.

Just like that, four classes quietly passed without them realizing it. When the bell for the fourth class gently rang, Muzuki tidied his lesson plan and smiled as he looked at all the Ninja below the stage.

    “Class dismissed.”
