Chapter Index

For a moment, Uzumaki Naruto forgot what he was going to say, staring blankly at Minato Namikaze.

It was strange; Uzumaki Naruto felt very strange. Despite meeting for the first time, he felt an unprecedented sense of closeness from this man who greatly resembled Mu Yue, senior.

“Are you the Fourth Hokage?” Uzumaki Naruto asked subconsciously.

“No, I am Minato Namikaze. Besides, the Village has only reached the Sandaime’s era,” Minato replied with a smile.

Yamato looked at Uzumaki Naruto with a hint of exasperation. It wasn’t his first day time-traveling, so why was he still like this?

Uzumaki Naruto chuckled, scratching his head a little sheepishly.

“Why is Lord Fourth here?” Yamato wondered, then looked at Kakashi and the others.

He thought it was possible that Kakashi and his team had contacted Minato Namikaze, as Minato Namikaze was one of the people they intended to save.

If Minato Namikaze knew the future himself and could save himself, the success rate of their operation would increase significantly.

“Minato-sensei, why are you in Rouran? Did you take a mission?” Obito asked curiously, patting the dust off himself.

While Yamato’s guess was well-reasoned, it was unfortunately wrong. Obito and the others also didn’t know why Minato Namikaze had suddenly appeared in Rouran.

“No, it’s more for personal reasons,” Minato said after a moment’s thought.

Muzuki had called him, but unlike Jiraiya, Minato had come in person, not a Shadow Clone.

Muzuki and his team had been in Rouran for some time, and Minato had just completed a mission, so he came directly in person.

The first time Minato saw Uzumaki Naruto, he knew Muzuki’s guess was correct: Uzumaki Naruto was his child.

The Uzumaki Clan surname, a face somewhat similar to his own, the feeling of blood kinship, and even his Chakra within Uzumaki Naruto’s body—if not his child, then whose could it be?

“Your battle just now was excellent. It’s clear you’ve all been training very diligently and have made great progress,” Minato praised Obito and the others without reservation.

“Obito, your Fire Release is not only more powerful but also more flexibly used than before. Kakashi, while you are very fast, you also cooperate well with your teammates. Rin, you…” Minato Namikaze praised each of his three disciples in detail.

Obito, Kakashi, and Rin Nohara exchanged glances, each with a unique smile on their faces. Obito’s smile was the most direct, Kakashi’s could only be seen as a hint of amusement in his eyes due to his mask, and Rin Nohara’s smile was the gentlest.

Their determination to change history grew stronger. How could they let such a good teacher as Minato die during the Nine-Tailed’s rampage?

“What about me?” Uzumaki Naruto asked curiously.

“Whether it’s your Chakra reserves, combat experience, or your ability to seize opportunities, they are all excellent. You are already an outstanding Ninja,” Minato replied with a gentle smile, looking into Uzumaki Naruto’s eyes.

“Hehe.” For some reason, Uzumaki Naruto felt exceptionally happy being praised by Minato Namikaze.

“Big Brother Minato, do you think I can become Hokage?” Uzumaki Naruto asked Minato Namikaze.

Uzumaki Naruto met Minato Namikaze’s gaze, looking at him with curiosity, eager to know how Minato Namikaze would answer his question.

Although many things had happened, Uzumaki Naruto’s goal had never changed; even now, he still wanted to become Hokage.

However, compared to before, he had indeed matured somewhat, no longer believing that becoming Hokage would earn him everyone’s recognition, but rather that only someone recognized by everyone could become Hokage.

“The selection of the Hokage is decided by the entire Village; my single word means nothing,” Minato Namikaze said after some thought, but then his tone shifted.

“But if it were up to me, to become Hokage, you must be prepared for the necessary resolve. No matter what setbacks or difficulties you encounter, you must not give up. If you strive until the very end, there is hope of becoming Hokage.”

Minato Namikaze could confirm that Uzumaki Naruto was his child, but he would not ignore reality and say that Uzumaki Naruto would definitely become Hokage because of this.

He had only witnessed one of Uzumaki Naruto’s battles, which revealed Uzumaki Naruto’s abilities as a Ninja, but he didn’t know what kind of person or Ninja Uzumaki Naruto truly was.

“I will definitely strive until the very end! My Ninja Way is to never go back on my word!” Uzumaki Naruto said with a brilliant smile.

After speaking, Uzumaki Naruto threw himself back into his training.

It was still early; they usually finished training at 5:30 PM.

Kakashi and the others also quickly entered their training state. To change the future, strong power was indispensable.

“Aren’t you going to tell him?” Muzuki asked.

He thought Minato must have recognized him.

“Since he doesn’t recognize me, there’s no need. It would only bring him more distress,” Minato Namikaze said, shaking his head slightly as he silently watched Uzumaki Naruto.

Uzumaki Naruto was indeed his child, but Uzumaki Naruto was his child from the future.

Since Uzumaki Naruto didn’t recognize him, there was only one possibility: he had died before Uzumaki Naruto could remember him, and it wasn’t an ordinary death; it involved a great deal, and even Kushina might have died with him.

If it were just an ordinary death, even if he died, Uzumaki Naruto would still know he had a father from his photos and others’ accounts.

And what was Uzumaki Naruto’s behavior? He recognized him and knew he was a person, but he didn’t know their relationship.

Minato didn’t want to speculate too much about the future. He wasn’t going to guess why he died. He just felt that if they revealed their relationship here, Naruto would be in great Pain when he returned to his original world.

Although they were father and son, they were from different times, and the time they could spend together was very short.

Uzumaki Naruto, who had never experienced paternal love, might have already grown accustomed to that life. Minato Namikaze didn’t want to pull Naruto, who had already learned to endure darkness, into a brief light only to return him to endless darkness.

The only thing Minato Namikaze could do was to take good care of Uzumaki Naruto before he returned. After all, he was his child.

“That’s very much your style.” Minato Namikaze’s answer was within Muzuki’s expectations.

Minato was a very gentle person. While revealing their relationship would bring Naruto temporary joy and warmth, he would experience prolonged Pain upon returning. Therefore, Muzuki had long anticipated Minato’s choice.

Minato Namikaze smiled and thanked him, “Thank you for your trouble during this time, taking care of Obito, Naruto, and the others for so long.”

“It’s nothing to me, but Minato, you should hurry up. They’ll be returning in a week,” Muzuki replied.

Uzumaki Naruto and the others had been here for quite some time. Since time travel was such a mysterious matter, Muzuki didn’t know what state Uzumaki Naruto would be in upon returning—whether he would go back to the exact moment of his travel or if it would change according to Muzuki’s timeline.

To prevent Uzumaki Naruto from going back and immediately fighting Pain, Muzuki didn’t plan to let Uzumaki Naruto stay too long.

If Minato Namikaze hadn’t arrived, Muzuki would have immediately arranged for them to return after Uzumaki Naruto learned Yang Release Breathing.

Minato Namikaze nodded. He would take care of Uzumaki Naruto as much as possible during this week.

After training, Muzuki prepared another sumptuous dinner.

Whether it was because of Minato Namikaze’s future identity as the Fourth Hokage or their blood connection, Uzumaki Naruto was very curious about Minato Namikaze, constantly asking him various questions before and after dinner.

Minato Namikaze patiently answered Uzumaki Naruto, showing no sign of impatience.

This greatly increased Uzumaki Naruto’s goodwill towards Minato Namikaze, and the image of the Fourth Hokage in his mind gradually became more complete.

In fact, because Minato Namikaze was so good to Uzumaki Naruto, Yamato even felt something was off.

He had heard that the Fourth Hokage was very amiable, but this was a bit too amiable. Despite only knowing Uzumaki Naruto for a few days, he was fulfilling all of Uzumaki Naruto’s requests.

Uzumaki Naruto casually mentioned wanting ramen in the middle of the night, and a moment later, Minato brought over a steaming bowl of ramen.

When Uzumaki Naruto wanted to have combat training with Minato Namikaze, Minato Namikaze readily agreed and then, while fighting, told Uzumaki Naruto about his shortcomings.

Moreover, ever since Minato Namikaze arrived, Naruto, who liked to move around in his sleep, never had his blanket fall to the floor again.

The thick-skinned Uzumaki Naruto didn’t notice anything, but Yamato, who shared a room with Uzumaki Naruto, felt the abnormality.

Yamato had some suspicions but didn’t voice them. After all, Minato Namikaze, the person involved, chose to remain silent, and as an outsider, he couldn’t just blurt out his thoughts.

On the last day, since Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato were returning to their original timeline that night, Muzuki didn’t make them train that day, but instead let them enjoy life.

Uzumaki Naruto suggested they explore Rouran thoroughly, and Minato Namikaze, upon hearing this, said he had been planning to do the same.

“Naruto, you go play first. I have something to do here. I’ll go explore by myself later,” Yamato said after thinking.

“Same for us,” Kakashi said, speaking for Obito to prevent him from saying anything reckless.

Being perceptive, he had also noticed something and wanted to give Minato Namikaze and Uzumaki Naruto some time alone on this last day.

Anyway, they weren’t time travelers; if they wanted to play in Rouran, they had plenty of time.

Obito had wanted to say something, but in the end, he closed his mouth at Kakashi’s eye signal.

“Oh, okay then! Big Brother Minato and I will go out and play first!” Uzumaki Naruto didn’t think much of it and cheerfully left with Minato Namikaze.

As soon as Uzumaki Naruto and his group left, Obito looked at Kakashi discontentedly and said:

“Kakashi, what do you mean? Big Brother Naruto is going back tonight. Shouldn’t we spend some time with him?”

“We’ve already spent so much time with him; one less day won’t matter. But it’s different for Minato-sensei,” Kakashi explained simply but didn’t elaborate.

Obito hated Kakashi’s cryptic behavior, but at this moment, he had to nod vaguely as if he understood, too.

Because Obito saw that the others present didn’t show any signs of confusion. If he kept asking questions, wouldn’t it make him look stupid?

Then Muzuki also left; he had many things to do and couldn’t afford to be idle.

“Since we’re leaving soon, Yamato, try to remember if there’s any important future information you haven’t told us,” Obito asked Yamato, remembering something.

Because he often forgot various things, Obito, projecting his own tendencies, worried that Yamato might have forgotten some information to share.

“Important information, huh…” Yamato showed a hint of hesitation.

Upon closer thought, he indeed had a major event related to Obito that he hadn’t mentioned: the Uchiha Clan massacre.

“We’ve already said so much; there’s no need to keep anything hidden now,” Kakashi chimed in.

“The Uchiha Clan will be wiped out, with only two survivors: Uchiha Itachi, who personally carried out the massacre, and his younger brother, Uchiha Sasuke,” Yamato quickly stated.

Yamato’s words were concise but brought immense shock to everyone present.

“The Uchiha Clan wiped out? By a guy named Uchiha Itachi?” Obito was extremely shocked.

Although it was the first time he had heard the name Uchiha Itachi, Obito deeply imprinted it in his mind.

Obito didn’t have much family pride, as he had few friends within the Uchiha Clan, and the one time he attended a clan meeting left him with a very bad impression.

But knowing that the Uchiha Clan would be wiped out still angered Obito. After all, it was his clan, and he didn’t want his few friends to die.

“Did he wipe out the Uchiha Clan by himself, or did he have help?” Kakashi asked with a frown.

If Uchiha Itachi had wiped out the Uchiha Clan by himself, then Uchiha Itachi’s strength would be too exaggerated.

The Uchiha Clan was currently Konoha’s strongest Ninja clan, with many Three-Tomoe Jonin. Kakashi found it hard to imagine such a powerful Ninja clan being wiped out by one person.

“I’m not clear on the details, but Uchiha Itachi’s strength is truly immense. Kakashi-senpai, you were once injured by him and hospitalized,” Yamato explained.

Kakashi’s expression didn’t change. His future self had lost before, but his current future self might not necessarily lose.

“I’ll go back to the clan and ask around. I want to see how strong that guy is now,” Obito prepared to investigate matters related to Uchiha Itachi after returning.

While Obito and his team were planning to change the future, Uzumaki Naruto had a blast.

To ensure Uzumaki Naruto had no regrets, Minato Namikaze had done his homework, inquiring about various things days in advance and recording all the fun and delicious spots in Rouran.

They spent the entire day eating, drinking, and playing, exploring everything from local specialty snacks to unique architecture.

“I haven’t been this happy in a long time. Thank you so much, Big Brother Minato,” Naruto said with a relaxed smile, stretching.

“I’m glad you’re happy,” Minato Namikaze replied with a gentle smile.

“This mission was truly amazing. Not only did I meet the young Ero-Sennin, but I also met such good people as Big Brother Muzuki and Big Brother Minato,” Uzumaki Naruto sighed in his heart.

Uzumaki Naruto was truly content now. His only hope was that when he returned to the past, he would find that the past had changed thanks to Kakashi and the others’ efforts.

“Naive brat, why do you think he’s so good to you?”

Uzumaki Naruto suddenly felt a moment of disorientation, and a giant cage appeared before him.

“Hey, what do you mean by that?” Uzumaki Naruto wasn’t panicked, as it wasn’t his first time here. Instead, he asked the Nine-Tailed with an annoyed expression.

“Hmph,” the Nine-Tailed snorted coldly, “It means nothing. I’m just telling you that Minato Namikaze is your father, and he’s the one who personally sealed me inside your body.”

“Oh, so it’s my fa—” After listening carefully to the Nine-Tailed’s words, Uzumaki Naruto froze.

“That’s not funny, you’d better explain yourself,” Uzumaki Naruto said, his face chilling as he tightened his fists and glared at the Nine-Tailed.

As an orphan, Uzumaki Naruto hated nothing more than people making jokes about his father.

“I have no obligation to explain to a brat like you. He’s right in front of you, go ask him yourself,” the Nine-Tailed said with a wide, bloody grin.

He didn’t tell Uzumaki Naruto this truth because he was a good fox; on the contrary, the Nine-Tailed said it because he was thoroughly annoyed by how happy they were.

The Nine-Tailed was sick of the Namikaze family; Uzumaki Kushina had trapped him for so long and then stolen his Chakra again, Minato Namikaze had split him in half, and then sealed him inside Uzumaki Naruto.

As the true ‘watcher’ of Naruto’s growth, the Nine-Tailed knew very well what Uzumaki Naruto had gone through since childhood and why he had endured it all. He didn’t believe Naruto wouldn’t resent Minato for causing all of it.

Uzumaki Naruto wanted to press further, but in a flash, he snapped back to reality, his eyes meeting Minato Namikaze’s concerned gaze.

“Is there a problem with the Sealing Technique? I sensed the Nine-Tailed’s Chakra,” Minato Namikaze asked with concern, lifting Naruto’s shirt to look at his abdomen.

Seeing the Sealing Technique on it, Minato Namikaze’s eyes flickered, and he quickly lowered Naruto’s shirt.

Uzumaki Naruto paid no attention to Minato Namikaze’s actions; the Nine-Tailed’s words echoed in his mind. He thought about it carefully, and indeed, Minato Namikaze’s kindness towards him seemed a little too abnormal.

Mu Yue, senior was also very kind to him, but the first time they met, Mu Yue, senior even beat him up; it was only after spending time together that Mu Yue, senior became kind to him.

Minato Namikaze was different; it was as if Minato Namikaze wanted to make up for something, being very kind to him from their first meeting and trying his best to fulfill any request.

“Big Brother Minato, are you my father?” Uzumaki Naruto was not one to beat around the bush and asked directly.

The expression on Minato Namikaze’s face froze. Although Uzumaki Naruto’s question had many points to ridicule, Minato Namikaze was in no mood to do so.

“It seems my disguise is terrible,” Minato Namikaze sighed helplessly.

He hadn’t expected to be exposed on the very last day.

Minato Namikaze didn’t want to acknowledge Naruto, but with the child asking such a question, he couldn’t keep up the pretense any longer.

Uzumaki Naruto stared blankly at Minato, his vision suddenly blurring as two lines of tears flowed down uncontrollably.

In that instant, Uzumaki Naruto thought of many things.

He remembered going to school as a child, how other children had their parents pick them up, while he was always alone, going to school alone and returning home alone.

He remembered how other children had parents who cooked delicious meals, while he could only eat instant ramen himself. Although Uzumaki Naruto could accept the taste of instant ramen, he also wanted to eat food cooked by his parents.

Watching Uzumaki Naruto, who was unknowingly in tears, Minato Namikaze placed his hand on Naruto’s head and said with an apologetic expression, “I’m sorry.”

Minato Namikaze wasn’t sure what had happened to Uzumaki Naruto, but based on the outcome, his future self clearly hadn’t fulfilled his fatherly responsibilities.

“Did you seal the Nine-Tailed inside me?” Uzumaki Naruto continued to ask.

    “Yes,” Minato Namikaze nodded.

Just now, he had looked at the Sealing Technique on Uzumaki Naruto; without a doubt, it was definitely a Sealing Technique he had performed, but it was his future self.

Uzumaki Naruto clenched his fists, the unfair treatment from his childhood quickly resurfacing in his mind, and a series of emotions like grievance and confusion welled up in his heart.

    Bang!

Uzumaki Naruto couldn’t help but punch Minato Namikaze. He didn’t use Chakra for this punch, only the strength of his body.

However, Uzumaki Naruto’s physical strength was not weak; taking such a solid punch, even Minato Namikaze’s expression changed slightly.

But Minato Namikaze didn’t speak. His future self had already died, so he would take his place and bear Naruto’s wrath.

“Good hit!” The Nine-Tailed, who was spectating from inside Naruto’s body, was laughing so hard he couldn’t close his mouth.

This was the scene he wanted to see; it would be best if Naruto went berserk and one of them killed the other.

“Why would you seal a Tailed Beast inside your own child? Because of the Nine-Tailed, the adults in the Village never gave me a good look, and the children never wanted to be my friends…”

Tears welled up even more in Uzumaki Naruto’s eyes as he excitedly recounted his hardships over the years to Minato Namikaze.

    Minato Namikaze:…

Paying for the sins of the future in the past, he must be the first.

“You’ve had a tough time all these years. I wasn’t a good father. If hitting me makes you feel better, you can punch me a few more times,” Minato Namikaze said with a gentle smile, stroking Naruto’s golden hair.

He didn’t know what purpose his future self had for sealing the Nine-Tailed inside his child, but ultimately, he owed Uzumaki Naruto.

Uzumaki Naruto tightly clenched his fists, his tear-filled eyes fixed on Minato Namikaze.

“I won’t listen to you!” Uzumaki Naruto released his fists and tightly hugged Minato Namikaze with both hands.

All the dissatisfaction of over a decade had been vented in that first punch; how could he bear to hit his father again?

But Uzumaki Naruto’s emotions were still hard to control; tears continued to stream down. He had suffered too much.

Minato Namikaze gently stroked Uzumaki Naruto’s back, quietly waiting for Uzumaki Naruto to calm down.

“Boring,” the Nine-Tailed in the alternate dimension was very disappointed to see this scene.

He had been ready; if Uzumaki Naruto went berserk, he would have fully supplied Chakra to help Uzumaki Naruto fight Minato Namikaze.

“I can’t wait to see your expressions when you separate later,” the Nine-Tailed cheered up, thinking that Minato Namikaze and Naruto would soon part ways.

The reason he chose this time to tell Naruto was because if Uzumaki Naruto and Minato Namikaze didn’t fight, they would still separate very soon, and the sadness would still be there.

“Want to go eat a bowl of ramen? My treat,” Minato Namikaze asked with a smile, seeing Uzumaki Naruto’s emotions gradually stabilize.

“Not at a shop, I want to eat Big Brother Mu Yue, senior’s,” Uzumaki Naruto quickly replied, wiping his tears.

As he was leaving, one of the things Uzumaki Naruto would miss most was Mu Yue, senior’s large bowl of pork chashu ramen.

“Compared to mine and what’s sold in shops, Mu Yue, senior’s is indeed better,” Minato Namikaze nodded and said.

These past few days, Minato Namikaze had tried to learn how to make ramen from Mu Yue, senior, but he was still far from Mu Yue, senior’s ramen taste. If converted to Ninja ranks, Minato was only a newly-minted Ninja, while Mu Yue, senior’s ramen was already Hokage-level.

“Dad, I want to eat yours too, I want two bowls,” Uzumaki Naruto said, his face slightly red.

It was his first time saying that word, and he was still a little unaccustomed to it.

Minato’s mood was very subtle, relieved and happy, but also felt a little strange.

Next, the two returned to the rental house.

“Big Brother Naruto, what happened to you? Did you encounter an enemy?” Obito asked, looking at the somewhat disheveled Uzumaki Naruto with a puzzled expression.

Kakashi looked at the tear-stained marks on Uzumaki Naruto’s clothes and understood something.

“No, I had a lot of fun today,” Uzumaki Naruto replied.

“That’s great! You definitely have to come play again if you get the chance,” Obito said with a cheerful grin.

“Mhm, you guys have to work hard too,” Uzumaki Naruto nodded heavily and said.

After learning that the Fourth Hokage was his father, Uzumaki Naruto desperately hoped that Kakashi and their efforts to change history would succeed, so that he too would have a father.

“Do you think time travel is like visiting neighbors?” Kakashi looked at Obito, speechless, about having time to come play again.

“With Kakashi saying that, we’re set,” Obito said happily.

Based on his past experience, the final outcome usually turned out opposite to what Kakashi said.

Kakashi was too lazy to bother with Obito. Spacetime was one of the most difficult parts of Ninjutsu, and this kind of time travel was unheard of; how could it happen so easily?

“What flavor of ramen do you want to eat?” Minato Namikaze asked.

“Dad, just make me spareribs and chashu,” Uzumaki Naruto thought for a moment and replied.

He could eat two bowls of the same flavor of ramen happily, but two different flavors he liked would be even better.

Minato Namikaze nodded, walked into the kitchen, and said something to Mu Yue, senior. Then the two prepared dinner together, though Minato was mostly assisting Mu Yue, senior.

“Wait, Big Brother Naruto, what did you call Minato-sensei?” Obito thought he had misheard.

“Dad, oh, I forgot to tell you guys, I’m actually his future son,” Uzumaki Naruto explained.

Yamato and Kakashi weren’t too surprised; they had some suspicions, but hearing Naruto say it himself was still a bit shocking.

Obito looked greatly astonished and asked confusedly, “Since you’re Minato-sensei’s child, why are you called Uzumaki Naruto and not Namikaze Naruto?”

He truly hadn’t expected that the future Ninja he got along with so well was also his sensei’s future son.

“In that case, is me calling Naruto ‘Big Brother’ a bit too much? He should be calling me ‘Big Brother’,” Obito said, rubbing his chin and falling into thought.

Kakashi looked at Obito helplessly; he really wished Obito would think more before speaking.

“I don’t know, I don’t have any memories of my family from when I was little,” Uzumaki Naruto shook his head and replied.

“I’m sorry, I was wrong,” Obito covered his mouth with his hand.

He only now realized that Minato Namikaze must have passed away before Uzumaki Naruto could remember, otherwise, how could Uzumaki Naruto have called Minato Namikaze ‘Big Brother’?

“It’s okay, it’s been over a decade, I’m used to it,” Uzumaki Naruto said, waving his hand dismissively.

His biggest regret now was not discovering earlier that Minato Namikaze was his father, so he could have spent more time interacting with him.

As plates of dishes and bowls of ramen were brought out, the conversation at the dining table gradually quieted down and eventually disappeared.

With Uzumaki Naruto’s efforts, even two large bowls of ramen didn’t take up too much of his time, and he still managed to eat many of Mu Yue, senior’s other dishes.

“It’s so delicious!” Uzumaki Naruto said contentedly, rubbing his slightly bulging stomach after eating.

“If only I could stay one more day.”

“Then stay one more day,” Mu Yue, senior said, taking a sip of tea.

Uzumaki Naruto’s eyes widened as he looked at Mu Yue, senior, his face filled with disbelief.

He had thought that time travel was a very serious matter; could it actually be postponed by a day?

“Mu Yue, senior, is it okay to stay one more day?” Yamato also asked uncertainly.

“Staying one more day is fine, but if it’s longer than that, I can’t guarantee it,” Mu Yue, senior replied, putting down his teacup.

With Uzumaki Naruto and Minato Namikaze reuniting, Mu Yue, senior felt it was fine to give them one more day to enjoy each other’s company. After all, they had already been there for so many days, one more day wouldn’t hurt.

“Big Brother Mu Yue, senior, you’re practically Mu Yue, senior the Sage!” Uzumaki Naruto decisively joined Obito’s Mu Yue, senior Sage Cult.

Uzumaki Naruto was indeed very happy today, but having just reunited with his father only to part ways, it was impossible for him not to feel melancholy. Hearing Mu Yue, senior say they could stay one more day, Uzumaki Naruto was genuinely thrilled.

The Nine-Tailed in Naruto’s dimension was displeased; this script wasn’t what he had imagined.

“Where did this guy come from? I don’t remember him being here before?” The Nine-Tailed felt a little confused; he had no memory of Mu Yue, senior.

Unable to figure it out, the Nine-Tailed closed his eyes; he was too lazy to bother with these matters.

Minato Namikaze also looked at Mu Yue, senior with surprise. This was indeed an unexpected surprise; Mu Yue, senior hadn’t told him before that this was possible.

Minato Namikaze guessed that it might be possible to extend the time even further, but Minato Namikaze didn’t ask Mu Yue, senior; Mu Yue, senior surely had his reasons for doing so.

When the true last day arrived, Minato Namikaze, as a father, took Uzumaki Naruto to explore Roran.

Because Roran wasn’t very large, they revisited some places they had explored the day before, but Uzumaki Naruto was still very happy. This was a trip with his father, a life he had never experienced before.

“Naruto, I’ve called you ‘Big Brother Naruto’ so many times. Now that we’re leaving, why don’t you call me ‘Big Brother Obito’?” Obito suddenly suggested before they left.

“Although you look older than me, if we’re talking about actual age, I should be older than you.”

“Then you can wait until I’m born and let him call you that,” Uzumaki Naruto said with a laugh.

Uzumaki Naruto found it strange to call someone so much younger than himself ‘Big Brother’. He only called the younger Kakashi ‘Little Kakashi-sensei’.

Uzumaki Naruto’s words almost fried Obito’s CPU.

“It’s about to begin, get ready,” Mu Yue, senior said, placing his hand on An Lushan.

“Goodbye, Dad, Big Brother Mu Yue, senior, Little Kakashi-sensei, Obito, and Rin!” Uzumaki Naruto said his final goodbyes.

“Naruto, goodbye,” Minato Namikaze said with a smile, waving.

    Bang!

Looking at Kakashi’s head, Yamato finally couldn’t resist and delivered a punch.

“Senpai Kakashi, I’m sorry, but you always bully me, I just couldn’t help it,” Yamato said with a smiling face, apologizing.

Kakashi looked at Yamato with a dark expression. Yamato, right? He remembered that face and name; Yamato would have it coming later.

Mu Yue, senior entered Flame Breathing Chakra Mode and directly covered An Lushan with a Fire Release. After An Lushan died, the powerful Dragon Vein energy in his body erupted, and a purple light flashed. Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato disappeared from sight.
