Chapter Index

After teaching Shisui for two hours, Muzuki’s main body swapped with his Shadow Clone, sending the main body to teach Kakashi and the other two, while the clone went to teach Shisui.

Although Shisui was the most promising goldmine, Muzuki would not show favoritism in his teaching; he would spread his knowledge evenly.

Returning to Kakashi and the others, Muzuki first used Appraisal Technique to check their data and found that Kakashi and Obito already had proficiency in Yin Release, though Obito’s proficiency was very low, only one point, while Might Guy still had none.

Muzuki was not surprised; this was within his expectations, as this was, after all, Might Guy, who couldn’t learn Shadow Clone in a month even with the Professor’s boost.

With the main body’s upgraded Professor boost, Kakashi’s Yin Release Nature Transformation proficiency quickly increased, jumping from three points to ten points in two hours.

Obito also went from one point to three points, and as for Might Guy, he finally broke through zero and gained one point of proficiency.

This made Muzuki very pleased; as long as he could develop proficiency, there was hope of learning, even if it would be much slower.

In the afternoon, Muzuki did not let Might Guy continue to practice Nature Transformation but instead had him practice Eight Gates.

In fact, for the current Might Guy, practicing Eight Gates was the most important thing.

The reason why the Rock Breathing Mark state would be very strong on Might Guy was precisely because he could cultivate Eight Gates to an extremely high level, which would then provide a large amount of Chakra for Rock Breathing to consume.

Haki, when not precisely controlled, was also a major consumer of Chakra. Muzuki could say that even if Might Guy learned Haki now, it wouldn’t have much practical significance in combat; without Eight Gates, where would he get so much Chakra to squander?

As for Kakashi and Obito, they continued their Yin Release Nature Transformation training in the afternoon.

Nature Transformation was something easy to learn but difficult to master. Muzuki saw that some Chunin teachers also mastered Yin Release Nature Transformation, but they were all only at the introductory level, and their proficiency was not high, basically at the level of having learned some simple Genjutsu.

Estimating based on Kakashi’s fastest progress, Muzuki felt that Kakashi could master Yin Release Nature Transformation in about seven days.

The proficiency required to go from uninitiated to initiated was one hundred points. Although Kakashi could gain ten points of proficiency in one go in the morning, Nature Transformation became harder to increase the further along one got; it wasn’t a fixed ten points for every four hours of training.

As for Obito, Muzuki felt it might take around twenty days, and for Might Guy, Muzuki found it hard to estimate, possibly several months.

Towards the end of the afternoon training, Muzuki sent out a Shadow Clone to the Training Ground for the holiday special training; he had promised Anko and the others that he would check in on them if he had time.

His main body was indeed very busy, needing to use his Professor skill to accelerate his students’ Ninjutsu learning speed and unable to get away, but sending out a Shadow Clone was no problem.

When Muzuki arrived at the Training Ground, it was almost time for dismissal, and the students were starting to rest.

Muzuki scanned the area and happened to see Anko lying ‘dead’ on the ground, so he walked over.

“How’s the special training going?” Muzuki walked over and asked with a smile.

Anko, who had been resting with her eyes closed, instantly woke up upon hearing this familiar and warm voice. After opening her eyes and confirming it was Muzuki, she immediately hugged Muzuki’s leg and complained:

“Teacher Muzuki, the holiday special training can’t be without you! Without you, the holiday special training is like a strawberry cake without strawberries; it has no meaning anymore.”

Muzuki bent down, rubbed Anko’s little head, pulled her down to sit on the grass, and asked with a smile:

“Did something happen? Why suddenly can’t the special training be without me?”

Anko’s voice also attracted the attention of some people nearby. Since the participants in this special training were not much different from the last time, the surrounding students gathered around Muzuki when they saw him.

“Those teachers don’t teach as well as you, Teacher Muzuki. Not only are they bad at teaching, but they also assign a large number of training tasks for us to complete without allowing breaks in between.”

Anko poured out all the annoyances she had encountered these past few days to Muzuki.

“That’s right! Even though there are several teachers, they’re still not as good as just you, Teacher Muzuki, teaching us,” a student nearby said, nodding in agreement as they heard Anko complain.

The students found it strange. The previous special training was a great success, so why not follow the experience from last time and change things?

Anko’s words opened up the floodgates for the surrounding students, and many students voiced their dissatisfactions, which Muzuki listened to with a smile.

How to put it, he wasn’t too surprised; these teachers’ actions were within his expectations.

Muzuki was promoted to Special Jonin by Sandaime after he successfully organized the last special training, and the teachers selected for this special training were also relatively capable teachers from the Ninja Academy.

Individually, they might not dare to compare themselves to Muzuki, but several of them together were different; they would believe that combined, they could at least match Muzuki.

Even if they couldn’t become Special Jonin like Muzuki, a promotion and raise would be no problem.

But reality was cruel. Not to mention that Muzuki had the Professor skill, even without it, Muzuki’s teaching level could easily beat those Ninja teachers. His various high-proficiency skills all came from real training experience, and Muzuki had also systematically learned how to be a teacher in a previous world.

Neither in terms of Ninja knowledge nor professional teaching ability could those Chunin teachers compare with Muzuki.

When they realized they might not be able to produce results, they started to get anxious. Several people teaching together were still not as good as Muzuki alone was back then, and this was even based on Muzuki’s successful experience.

Increasing the training volume naturally became the logical thing to do, after all, power couldn’t possibly get smaller with more practice, right?

As more students surrounded Muzuki, more and more students came over.

They had originally come to watch the commotion, but once they saw that Muzuki had actually arrived, they had to have a good chat.

The more students there were, the faster they gathered, and eventually, most of the students came over to Muzuki’s side.

“Why are you all gathered together? Stay in your own classes,” a Chunin teacher noticed the students’ unusual behavior and came over to scold them.

“It’s almost time for class to end anyway, just let them rest freely for a bit,” Muzuki said.

Only then did the Chunin teacher notice Muzuki sitting among the students. Many students were standing, blocking the Chunin teacher’s line of sight.

“Oh, it’s Director Muzuki. You’re right, everyone should rest well,” the Chunin teacher said with a smile.

As a relatively ambitious teacher, he greatly admired Muzuki, who had been rapidly promoted within less than a year of joining, not only in position at the Ninja Academy but also directly from Chunin to Special Jonin.

Then Muzuki continued chatting with the students, and even after class ended, many students didn’t go home but stayed to chat with Muzuki.

“I won’t be able to join this period’s holiday special training again because I have other work to be responsible for. As for the future, I don’t know; it depends on the arrangements of Lord Sandaime, but I personally want to continue leading the special training.”

Muzuki answered the students’ questions one by one.

After Might Guy and his team graduate, Muzuki probably won’t be taking on interns for a long time, as Shisui will only be in Fourth Grade then, so there’s still plenty of time.

“I will coordinate with the special training teachers to see if we can come up with a more reasonable training plan,” Muzuki said with a smile.

The students gave him a pleasant surprise after the last special training, and Muzuki didn’t mind doing something so convenient.

“Teacher Muzuki is the best!” Anko cheered. She decided that if the next special training teacher wasn’t Muzuki, she simply wouldn’t come. Non-Fourth Grade students could choose not to attend.

    The next day.

In the morning, it was still the same: training Kakashi, Obito, and Might Guy in Yin Release Nature Transformation, and Shisui training Armament Haki separately. In the afternoon, Muzuki arranged for Kakashi to begin training in Thunder Breathing.

The reason he didn’t teach it yesterday was mainly because the disciple return only had one chance per day. To get an extra reward, he delayed teaching it by one day.

This chapter is 2.4, there will be more later, but it might be quite late.
