Chapter Index

Muzuki went to the Ninja Academy as usual in the morning. As the grade head and the person in charge of the large class pilot program, he had to arrange the class schedule before the students arrived at school.

Muzuki thought for a while and decided to set four classes for the large class instruction. These four classes would attend theoretical lessons together in a large classroom.

Firstly, if the number of students was too small, he feared it wouldn’t trigger the rewards for large classes.

Secondly, there were exactly eight classes in the first grade, which could be taught by two different teachers for comparison.

One of them would definitely be himself. As for the remaining one, Muzuki planned to ask which theoretical teacher was more reliable and let the reliable one teach, so as to avoid too much difference in the results.

With this large class arrangement, many first-grade teachers’ schedules instantly became much lighter.

Muzuki’s setup meant that a class that originally required four teachers to teach was now taught by one teacher, allowing three teachers to rest during that time.

Some first-grade teachers heard about Muzuki’s large class plan and came to his office to inquire about it and express their gratitude.

“With Teacher Muzuki, our small office has become much livelier,” Ueda Aya said with a smile.

Their office space was relatively small, with only six teachers.

“After all, Teacher Muzuki is now in charge of the first-grade teaching arrangements,” Kimura Sugito nodded.

“I think Teacher Muzuki’s idea is really good. Why not just implement it throughout the entire school instead of just piloting it in the first grade?” Ikeya Yu really liked Muzuki’s large class plan.

Because among them, he had the most classes. If there was such a mechanism as large classes, he would definitely be much more relaxed in the future and would have more time to ask his goddess out on dates.

    Muzuki smiled but said nothing.

Around noon, a Ninja found Muzuki and told him to go to the Hokage Office.

Muzuki walked into the Hokage Building and encountered Danzo on his way to the Hokage Office.

    “Lord Danzo,” Muzuki greeted Danzo.

However, Danzo no longer had the smile he had yesterday at Root. Danzo continued forward with a calm expression, as if he hadn’t heard Muzuki’s voice.

Danzo and Muzuki entered the Hokage Office one after another.

“Danzo, remove the Root curse mark from Muzuki,” the Third Hokage said.

“Lord Third Hokage, I…” Muzuki first showed a surprised expression, then tried to explain something but was interrupted by the Third Hokage.

“Muzuki, I know you have many questions. We’ll talk about those later,” the Third Hokage interrupted.

“Stick out your tongue,” Danzo said coldly.

Muzuki complied and stuck out his tongue.

“Root of All Evil Eradication: Release!” Danzo channeled his Chakra and pointed at Muzuki’s tongue in the air. The curse mark on Muzuki’s tongue quickly dissipated, leaving no trace, as if it had never been there.

“Hmph,” Danzo snorted coldly and left the Hokage Office without saying anything.

“Lord Third, I’m sorry,” Muzuki said with a look of shame towards Hiruzen Sarutobi after Danzo left.

“Muzuki, you have nothing to apologize for to me. I should thank you for helping to look after that child, Asuma,” Hiruzen Sarutobi said with a kind smile.

Their relationship had been a bit strained these past few days, but after Asuma was taught by Muzuki over the weekend, their relationship had eased quite a bit. Hiruzen Sarutobi naturally knew whose credit this was.

Asuma’s situation also played a certain role in why he helped Muzuki out.

“Actually, I was sent to the Ninja Academy by Root…” Muzuki revealed with a look of guilt.

“So what? Although Danzo’s motive for sending you to the school was impure, I can see that you are truly teaching diligently and are truly doing your best, as you said.

Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been able to lead such an excellent class as Class 1, Grade 1, nor would you have been able to improve the strength of the special training students and gain their trust in just five short weeks,” Hiruzen Sarutobi said with a chuckle.

In fact, he also felt quite strange. Muzuki, this ordinary Ninja who had little presence in Root, actually had extraordinary talent in teaching, and just happened to be sent to the Ninja Academy by Danzo.

    “But…” Muzuki still looked guilty.

“There are no ‘buts.’ I promoted you to Special Jonin, gave you Ninjutsu, promoted you to grade head, and brought you out of Root.

Do you think I did all this to gain your guilt? What I need is for you to work harder in the future to cultivate more excellent Ninja for Konoha,” Hiruzen Sarutobi clarified his kindness to Muzuki.

Although he said he didn’t need Muzuki’s guilt, the Sandaime deliberately pointed out all the benefits he had given Muzuki.

Because this was an excellent opportunity to gain goodwill. The more guilty Muzuki felt towards him, the more loyal he would be to him in the future.

“Muzuki, you are a person with outstanding teaching talent. From now on, you can rest assured and complete your teaching work at the Ninja Academy, without worrying about other matters,” Hiruzen Sarutobi said with a smile.

“Lord Third, I understand! I will definitely work hard to cultivate more excellent students and train more outstanding Ninja for the Village!” Muzuki said with a grateful expression.

“To reduce the burden on teachers and also to try new teaching methods, I plan to implement large class instruction at the Ninja Academy.”

Muzuki took the opportunity to tell Hiruzen Sarutobi about his plan for large classes, thereby showing that he truly cared about the Ninja Academy’s education every day.

“That does sound like a good plan,” Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded.

Then, Hiruzen Sarutobi joked and sighed, “If every teacher in the school had your teaching level, Muzuki, I don’t think this plan would need to be piloted; it could be implemented directly.”

The atmosphere between the two became increasingly good. The Sandaime felt that he had gained another reliable talent, and Muzuki finally got rid of the curse mark that had worried him.

However, what made Muzuki speechless was that Danzo still didn’t trust him and was still trying to manipulate him.

After Muzuki returned home that night, he received another scroll from Root.

However, this time the scroll contained no orders or missions; it was entirely for brainwashing.

The general content was that the reason he was so cold to him during the day was out of concern that Hiruzen Sarutobi would realize Muzuki was still loyal to Root and to Danzo.

To ensure Muzuki had a better future with the Sandaime, Danzo had acted cold and aloof.

Muzuki was speechless. He was being flattered by Hiruzen Sarutobi at noon, and then had to read Danzo’s manipulative scroll at night. His life was too exciting.

After a day, Muzuki felt his acting skills had improved quite a bit.

Muzuki wrote calligraphy for ten minutes to calm his mind, then began to study the Contract Seal.

After raising the Five Elements Seal to the proficient level, Muzuki gained a lot of Sealing Technique knowledge, and he learned the Contract Seal very quickly. By the time he was about to go to bed, the Contract Seal already had twenty points of proficiency.

I wrote this a bit hastily. If you see any misspelled names or have any questions, please let me know and I will correct them.
