Chapter Index

Muzuki introduced the level of the Group A students as they walked.

“The students in Group A had largely completed their Chakra control training by the second week of special training. During the special training, the main focus was to strengthen their Chakra control abilities, learn Body Flicker Technique, and enhance their Taijutsu and Ninjutsu skills.”

“Group A is the fastest progressing group, and the students’ strength is also the strongest among all groups. The composition mainly consists of Fourth Grade students and graduated Genin, followed by Third Grade students and First Grade students.”

“There are First Grade students? How could First Grade students reach this level?” A teacher couldn’t help but ask.

With Chakra control abilities like tree climbing and water walking, and having mastered Body Flicker Technique, they would be considered strong even among Genin. How could a First Grade student possibly reach that level?

“That First Grade student must be Uchiha Shisui from your class, Teacher Muzuki. If it’s him, then it might really be possible,” Ueda Aya asked.

Besides Shisui, Ueda Aya couldn’t think of any First Grade student who could possess such ability.

    Muzuki nodded.

Although Shisui’s reputation as a genius was well-known in the Ninja Academy, there were still Chunin teachers who believed that First Grade students could not reach such a level.

Forget about the top student in First Grade, they didn’t even think the top student in Second Grade could reach this level.

It was only because Muzuki had good relationships and a good reputation; otherwise, some teachers might have maliciously speculated whether Muzuki favored Shisui and used special privileges to directly transfer him to Group A.

Hiruzen Sarutobi just smiled and said nothing.

He didn’t know what level Shisui’s strength had reached now, but just the battle where Shisui defeated Asuma before was enough for him to enter Group A.

“Number 17 Uchiha Shisui and Number 18 Raido Namiashi, prepare for battle.”

Muzuki and the others arrived at just the right time, catching Shisui’s battle.

“It’s Raido. I taught him before he graduated; he was a very excellent student,” the teacher who previously thought a First Grade student couldn’t reach Group A’s level said with a smile.

He was happy for his former student; opportunities to display strength in front of the Hokage were rare.

He knew Raido Namiashi’s strength; he wasn’t weak while studying at the school, and now he had graduated and trained for quite some time. Facing a First Grade student would be easy.

Raido Namiashi didn’t know that his former teacher had already started celebrating before the match even began. After hearing his opponent’s name, he felt a headache coming on.

No doubt, he was definitely going to be eliminated in the first round this time. Raido Namiashi had no confidence at all in defeating Shisui.

Of course, Raido Namiashi didn’t give up directly. If he was going to lose, he might as well lose with some dignity.

Taking a deep breath, Raido Namiashi walked confidently to the battleground and formed the confrontation seal with Shisui.

Since the outcome was already known, all he had to do was try his best to display his due strength.

“Look at Raido’s calm expression; it seems he’s very confident about this battle.” The Chunin teacher looked at Raido Namiashi and felt increasingly proud of the student he had taught.

The nearby teachers all nodded in agreement.

In fact, most teachers believed Muzuki’s words and trusted his character, thinking Shisui could reach Group A’s level, but they didn’t believe Shisui could defeat Raido Namiashi.

One was a First Grade student who had just completed a semester, and the other was a Genin who had graduated for quite some time, and both had received the same special training. By all accounts, Raido Namiashi would win.

Let alone Shisui, even if Kakashi, who had just completed a semester, came, they still thought Raido Namiashi would ultimately win.

Muzuki showed a gentle smile and remained silent. He didn’t need to say too much; Shisui displaying his strength would be enough to shut them up.

Hiruzen Sarutobi stroked his small beard and chuckled, looking towards the battleground. He was somewhat curious to see what expressions those teachers would have when Raido Namiashi lost.

    “Battle start!” Muzuki shouted.

    Whoosh!

As soon as Muzuki finished speaking, Raido Namiashi directly used Body Flicker Technique and charged forward, holding a Kunai and thrusting it towards Shisui.

He knew what kind of strength Shisui possessed, so there was no need for probing; he went all out directly.

“Raido has a flaw; he doesn’t know how to hold back when he attacks, and he still hasn’t changed that,” the Chunin teacher said, shaking his head, seeing Raido Namiashi immediately use Body Flicker Technique and charge with a Kunai, not giving Shisui a chance to perform.

But the next moment, something that surprised him happened. Uchiha Shisui’s body disappeared at the last second, and Raido Namiashi struck empty air.

Raido Namiashi wasn’t disappointed; it would be problematic if Shisui couldn’t dodge. He unhesitatingly threw a Kunai behind him.

Shisui paused his attack, slightly shifting his body to dodge the incoming Kunai.

“His speed is even faster than Raido’s!” Raido Namiashi’s teacher was a bit dumbfounded.

Immediately after, Raido Namiashi grabbed a handful of Shuriken and threw them towards Shisui, then quickly formed hand seals to cast Clone Technique, creating four clones. The clones and his main body climbed up trees together, constantly switching positions among the trees.

“Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Claw Crimson!” Shisui dodged the Shuriken and immediately began to cast Ninjutsu.

First, he exhaled a large breath of fire, then quickly threw Shuriken into the flames. Immediately after, the flaming Shuriken, like small fireballs, rushed towards the trees where Raido Namiashi was located.

    Boom! Boom!

The Shuriken carrying high-temperature flames created large holes when they hit the trees. In an instant, all the large trees attacked by Shisui collapsed, and all of Raido Namiashi’s clones dissipated. His main body was mostly unharmed, only falling down.

“Is this a First Grade student?” Many Chunin teachers were somewhat dumbfounded by the destructive power of the Fire Release Shisui unleashed.

Let alone a First Grade student, even a graduated Genin couldn’t perform such a Fire Release.

“Raido should still have a chance. A Ninja’s strength isn’t just about Ninjutsu; Taijutsu is equally important,” Raido Namiashi’s teacher thought, believing Raido Namiashi still had a chance to win.

Since this Uchiha Shisui’s Ninjutsu was so strong, his Taijutsu certainly wouldn’t be particularly good. After all, he was so young; it was impossible for him to be proficient in everything, and what Raido Namiashi excelled at happened to be Taijutsu.

Shisui didn’t release any more Ninjutsu; instead, he rushed towards the fallen Raido Namiashi.

Raido Namiashi didn’t have time to retreat and quickly got up to engage in close combat with Shisui.

Although Raido Namiashi looked much taller and sturdier than Shisui, in the Taijutsu exchange, to the astonished gazes of many Chunin teachers, he was quickly pushed back by Shisui, appearing to be suppressed.

Raido Namiashi’s teacher rubbed his eyes, stared at the battleground again, and after repeating it twice, he finally confirmed that he hadn’t been mistaken.

“Uchiha Shisui wins.” Raido Namiashi couldn’t withstand Shisui’s high-intensity offensive and was quickly defeated. Muzuki announced the victory.

The teachers once again fell into a state of extreme quiet, with expressions of disbelief on their faces.

They even wondered if this Uchiha Shisui had started training from the womb; this level of strength for a First Grade student was simply too exceptional.

“Shisui is the most diligent student in class one,” Muzuki said leisurely.

Other students only started full-day training during the special training, but Shisui had been training all day in the South Border Forest for a long time. During the special training, he would train during the day and then go to Muzuki’s place to train at night.

“All of you should learn more from Muzuki and create more teaching miracles,” the Third Hokage said with a chuckle, looking at the shocked expressions of the many teachers.

“Number 19 Asuma Sarutobi and Number 20 Uchiha Obito, prepare for battle.”
