【Disciple Uchiha Shisui diligently cultivated and achieved perfect results in the academic assessment, receiving rewards: Chakra +300, Ninjutsu Proficiency Scroll】

【Disciple Might Guy diligently cultivated and achieved excellent results in the academic assessment, receiving rewards: Chakra +250】

【Disciple Uchiha Obito diligently cultivated and achieved good results in the academic assessment, receiving rewards: Chakra +200】

After settling the rewards for the final exams, Muzuki’s total Chakra increased slightly once again.

    【Name: Hayate Mugetsu】

    【Chakra: 12050】

“It seems only a double first place can earn a Ninjutsu Proficiency Scroll reward,” Muzuki thought as he looked at the three reward messages from the system.

Aside from Shisui, who was already the top of his grade and couldn’t improve further, Might Guy and Obito’s rewards were slightly higher than last time.

Last time, Might Guy and Obito’s rewards were only 150 Chakra each. This time, Might Guy received an additional 100 Chakra, and Obito an additional 50 Chakra.

Might Guy and Obito had indeed made significant progress, not just in practical combat, but their theoretical scores had also greatly improved, now reaching over fifty points.

Although the Ninjutsu Proficiency Scroll was a good item, Muzuki did not plan for Might Guy and Obito to spend too much time on theory to get full marks.

This was because their learning efficiency was simply too low.

Even with him frequently giving them special tutoring and explaining problems, Might Guy and Obito only scored a little over fifty points. Anko, on the other hand, could easily get full marks.

To get Might Guy and Obito to achieve full marks, Muzuki felt he would have to stop all other training, personally teach them, and have them read books and do exercises every day. Only then would it be possible.

But doing so would not be worth it. It would be better to continue normal training, become stronger sooner, and allow Muzuki to receive more rewards.

“Hehe, Muzuki-sensei, about the reward you mentioned earlier…” After scolding the two troublemakers, Anko awkwardly walked up to Muzuki.

“You regressed and still have the nerve to ask for a reward, huh?” Muzuki tapped Anko’s head with two fingers.

“No way! I was still second in the practical exam! Shisui is just too strong, I can’t beat him at all,” Anko tried to bluff her way through.

“I meant your theory score regressed. You got two points less than last time,” Muzuki pointed out the fact. He remembered everyone’s scores in the class clearly.

“Oh no, it’s all Kotetsu and Izumo’s fault!” Anko wished she could turn around and punch those two troublemakers again. They had teamed up to trick her into not needing to review.

“Take it and eat. There won’t be any next time if you regress again,” Muzuki eventually gave Anko the dumplings she needed most.

He had bought them on his way to school; everyone in the class got a share.

“Muzuki-sensei is the best!” Anko took the dumplings and immediately began to praise Muzuki’s greatness.

The atmosphere in Class 1, Grade 1 was quite good. After seeing their scores and receiving their test papers, they didn’t leave but chatted in the classroom together until noon.

At noon, Muzuki and the other teachers went to the lecture hall for a meeting.

Teachers at the Ninja Academy also had meetings, though not frequently. This meeting was mainly to summarize the teaching work of the semester and then to announce the list of outstanding teachers.

For Muzuki, this meeting was not very significant. He was different from ordinary Ninja Academy teachers and was not interested in outstanding teacher awards or bonuses.

However, unexpectedly, the Sandaime appeared at this meeting.

According to Ikeya Yu and Ueda Aya, this meeting was usually led by the head of the teachers’ class.

“Sandaime-sama,” Muzuki greeted the Sandaime respectfully.

The Sandaime looked at Muzuki and nodded with a smile.

As he wasn’t very busy recently, the Sandaime glanced at the scores of Muzuki’s Class 1, Grade 1. What he saw was truly astonishing.

Their previous scores were already unique in the Ninja Academy, but Class 1, Grade 1’s exam results were even better this time.

The average score for theoretical subjects reached an astonishing eighty-one points, which would be considered an excellent score in other classes. This meant that Class 1, Grade 1 had an average of excellent students.

The average score for the practical exam was twenty-four points, which was also an exaggerated score, as the average for normal classes was around sixteen points.

The Sandaime looked closely and found that Class 1, Grade 1’s main strength was their extremely high scores in Ninjutsu, with no one in the entire class scoring below eight points, followed by their Hand Seal scores.

Muzuki had led such an outstanding class, and coupled with the fact that he, as the Principal, hadn’t appeared at a school meeting in a long time, the Sandaime decided to come.

Perhaps because of the Sandaime’s presence, the meeting proceeded very quickly without any unexpected interruptions.

“Next, I will read out the list of outstanding teachers for this semester: Hayate Mugetsu…”

    Muzuki’s name was listed first.

“Muzuki-sensei, it’s you, as expected,” Ueda Aya congratulated him quietly.

Although Muzuki felt no inner fluctuation, he responded with a gentle smile to his colleague’s congratulations.

    “Ikeya Yu.”

“I’m an outstanding teacher too!” Ikeya Yu showed a surprised expression.

Ikeya Yu’s students took the top two spots in the grade, so he had guessed he might be an outstanding teacher, but he was still very surprised when he actually received it.

This was an outstanding teacher award; there were only four each semester, and he hadn’t received one in all the years he had been teaching.

“Damn it, why didn’t any of my students have a sudden breakthrough?” Kimura Sugito felt a surge of envy.

He didn’t envy Muzuki for receiving the outstanding teacher award, because he thought it would be strange if Muzuki wasn’t an outstanding teacher.

But he knew Ikeya Yu’s level. He only got this outstanding teacher award entirely because of Might Guy and Obito.

“You complained earlier that Might Guy and Uchiha Obito were dead last, but this outstanding teacher award is entirely thanks to them,” Ueda Aya also envied him greatly.

When Ikeya Yu took over Class 2, Grade 4, everyone offered condolences, but the final exam brought such a reversal.

“It was me who failed to recognize true geniuses,” Ikeya Yu admitted that he had underestimated Might Guy and Obito.

“When the bonus comes, I’ll treat you all to drinks. Muzuki-sensei, you must come. You deserve credit for this outstanding teacher award,” Ikeya Yu said with a cheerful laugh, as Muzuki had substituted for him too many times.

“If I have time, I can,” Muzuki nodded with a smile.

“I want to commend Teacher Hayate by name here. The students of Class 1, Grade 1 have achieved astonishing results under his guidance,” Hiruzen Sarutobi began to speak.

Then Hiruzen Sarutobi read out the various scores of Muzuki’s class and stated that everyone should learn from outstanding teachers like Muzuki to cultivate the next generation well for Konoha.

After being praised by the Sandaime, Muzuki could feel the gaze of all the teachers in the room on him. Perhaps it was because his image was so good, but he didn’t encounter any malicious or jealous looks; everyone was very friendly.

“Muzuki, you are doing very well. Keep it up,” Hiruzen Sarutobi patted Muzuki’s shoulder and encouraged him after the meeting.

“Sandaime-sama, I will do my best to teach the students,” Muzuki once again gave the same answer he had given in the Principal’s Office.

The Sandaime laughed twice after hearing this, seemingly in a good mood.

The end of the meeting also meant that teachers like Muzuki were now on vacation.

Receiving the outstanding teacher award and being praised by the Sandaime did not affect Muzuki’s inner peace. However, the fact that Might Guy hadn’t triggered a training mission these past two days did make Muzuki a bit curious.

Muzuki subtly probed and found that Might Guy hadn’t fought Kakashi yet, which relieved him.

Kakashi might have gone on a mission, so Might Guy hadn’t found him these past two days.

As the official holiday began, Muzuki informed his disciples of his holiday special training plan.

Please give monthly tickets and keep reading. I’m pushing for recommendations recently, so please keep reading. I’ll add an extra chapter tomorrow.
