Chapter Index

    “What should I do next?”

Next to the Hokage Building, Boruto fell into deep thought.

Though it was called a mission, Sasuke had actually just asked him to run an errand, delivering a message to Minato Namikaze, which was quickly completed.

“Why don’t I go see this world’s Mom?”

A Flash of inspiration struck Boruto.

He had seen a young Naruto, but he hadn’t seen a young Hinata yet.

Then, he was caught by Hyuga Ninja for attempting to sneak into the Hyuga Clan’s family head’s compound.

“What is your purpose, you brat!”

    The Hyuga Ninja demanded sternly.

“I’m a friend of Hyuga Hinata, and I came to play with her.”

    Boruto explained, feigning seriousness.

“Nonsense. When did Lady Hinata ever have friends from outside the clan? I suspect you are a spy coveting the Hyuga Byakugan.”

The Hyuga Ninja directly sent Boruto to the Police Force.

The Ninja of the Police Force looked at the captured Boruto with a subtle expression.

He remembered Boruto was bailing people out yesterday, and today he was the one being brought in.

Fortunately, Minato Namikaze, to prevent any unforeseen incidents, had dispatched Anbu Ninja to secretly follow Boruto, so Boruto was quickly released again.

“The Hyuga Clan in this world is too impolite.”

    Boruto said indignantly.

He just wanted to see his mom, yet they actually arrested him.

After this incident, Boruto clearly understood that seeing his mother wouldn’t be simple.

Either he needed to find someone to help him get in, or he could only wait for Hyuga Hinata to come out herself.

Both options were a bit troublesome for the current Boruto, so he could only temporarily give up.

Boruto wasn’t in a hurry, anyway, Hyuga Hinata was so young she wouldn’t run away.

“What exactly is Sasuke-sensei doing now? He didn’t even tell me.”

As Boruto reconsidered what to do, he couldn’t help but think of Sasuke.

He was very curious about what the important matter Sasuke mentioned actually was.

Was he searching for traces of Ōtsutsuki Urashiki? Or had he discovered a shocking secret of this world?

“Anko, didn’t you already have breakfast? Why are you still buying dango to eat? Aren’t you afraid of getting fat eating like this?”

“I have a special stomach just for dango, Izumo. Why do you worry so much? It’s not like I’m asking you to treat me.”

“Izumo, don’t try to persuade her. Anko doesn’t appreciate good intentions.”

Suddenly, Boruto heard a slightly familiar voice amidst a conversation.

“Anko, dango… Could it be Anko-sensei?”

Boruto couldn’t help but recall a somewhat plump female teacher, then looked towards the source of the voice, and a beautiful young woman with a graceful figure came into view.

Although Anko was only fourteen, perhaps due to good genes and frequent training, her figure was already quite good; while not a devilish figure, it could certainly be described as well-proportioned.

    “This is Anko-sensei?”

Looking at the purple-haired girl who could be described as a beautiful young woman, Boruto showed a suspicious expression.

He remembered Anko was only in her early forties, and while they say time is a butcher’s knife, it seemed to have dealt too many critical hits to Anko.

What exactly turned a beautiful young woman into a plump auntie?

“Why are you looking at me like that, kid? If you try to steal my dango, I won’t go easy on you.”

Noticing Boruto’s gaze, Anko looked at him warily, hiding the freshly bought dango in her arms.

    Boruto:…

He seemed to know the reason now.

“Anko, you’re not much older than him, are you?”

Kotetsu Hagane retorted, thinking Boruto looked about twelve or thirteen.

“By the way, don’t you think he looks a bit like Muzuki-sensei and the Fifth Hokage?”

Izumo Kamizuki observed Boruto, stroking his chin as he spoke.

“Now that you mention it, Izumo, he really does.”

Kotetsu Hagane took a closer look and found that Boruto’s face indeed had some resemblance.

    “Are you Muzuki-sensei’s illegitimate child?”

    The blunt Anko asked directly.

    “No.”

Boruto replied speechlessly. Why did everyone mistake him for Muzuki’s descendant?

“Considering his age, it’s impossible for him to be Muzuki-sensei’s descendant. Perhaps he’s a relative, or a modified human who absorbed Muzuki-sensei’s genes.”

Kotetsu Hagane, who had been reading a lot of sci-fi novels recently, analyzed.

“Kotetsu, your top priority is to give me the money, so you won’t have money to buy novels.”

    Izumo Kamizuki said.

Although being mistaken for someone else’s descendant was a bit frustrating, Boruto still had a good impression of the three, because they were very interesting to talk to.

Anko and the two also found Boruto quite interesting, but since they still had training, they couldn’t talk to Boruto for too long and soon headed to the Training Ground.

Boruto, meanwhile, continued to wander through this Konoha, which felt both strange and a little familiar to him, until evening, when Sasuke suddenly appeared beside him.

“Let’s go, to see the Fifth Hokage.”

    Sasuke said.

    “Huh!”

Looking at Sasuke, who had a faint smile on his face, Boruto showed a shocked expression.

Did Sasuke-sensei, who always had a cold expression, actually smile?

“Sasuke-sensei, what did you go and do?”

Boruto could no longer suppress his curiosity and asked.

    “An important matter.”

“That’s like saying nothing at all.”

Under Boruto’s resentful gaze, Sasuke knocked on the door, opened the Hokage Office door, and walked in.

Boruto also had to quickly enter the office.

“Suigetsu, Mitsuki, how do you feel here? Are you getting used to it?”

Minato Namikaze tidied up some documents, not rushing to ask for information, but instead smilingly asked about Sasuke and their experience.

“I feel pretty good, it’s just there’s no Thunder Burger.”

Boruto, who had been wandering all day, commented.

“Then, Mitsuki, you could try to recreate it yourself? Maybe you could create a very impressive restaurant.”

    Minato Namikaze laughed.

He didn’t know what Thunder Burger was, but for Boruto to miss it so much, it must be a very distinctive food.

“Then wouldn’t Thunder Burger have to be renamed Borutobāgā in the future?”

    Boruto showed an excited expression.

“Fifth Hokage, I recommend you have the Anbu leave temporarily. The information I’m about to share will be very important, and the fewer people who know, the better.”

Sasuke interrupted Boruto’s burger plans, preparing to reveal the information.

Minato Namikaze nodded and set up a barrier within the Hokage Office.

“I’ll start with the information you’re most interested in, which is about Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.”

Seeing this, Sasuke formally began to recount the information.

“You haven’t forgotten about Black Zetsu, whom I mentioned before, have you?”

Minato Namikaze nodded; he had recorded everything Sasuke said on a scroll.

“Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had three children: the first was Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo, who is the Six Paths Sage; the second was Ōtsutsuki Hamura, whom I don’t know much about; and this third child is Black Zetsu.”

Minato Namikaze showed a surprised expression.

Muzuki had already told him that the Six Paths Sage was Ōtsutsuki Kaguya’s son, but he truly didn’t know that Ōtsutsuki Kaguya also had a third child named Black Zetsu.

“Black Zetsu has always wanted to revive Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, and for that, he has lurked in the shadows for over a thousand years, hiding extremely deeply. In our world, he only truly revealed himself when Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was revived.”

    Minato Namikaze’s expression grew serious.

A monster who had lived for over a thousand years, who knew what trump cards he had, or what arrangements he had made in the Ninja World.

“Uchiha Madara is Black Zetsu’s strongest pawn. Unless absolutely necessary, I suggest you destroy the Edo Tensei and supervise Nagato to prevent Uchiha Madara’s revival.”

    Sasuke stated his opinion.

Black Zetsu had some tricks, but no combat power. Without Uchiha Madara, Black Zetsu alone could not revive Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.

“Is there any connection between Uchiha Madara’s revival and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya’s revival?”

Minato Namikaze asked after a moment of contemplation.

“For Ōtsutsuki Kaguya to be revived, a necessary prerequisite is the Ten-Tails. Without Uchiha Madara, Black Zetsu alone cannot collect the Nine-Tailed Beasts.”

Sasuke explained the principle of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya’s revival.

    “Nine-Tailed Beasts? Ten-Tails?”

Minato Namikaze grew increasingly confused; all of this was information he had never heard before.

Seeing Minato Namikaze’s reaction, Sasuke was also extremely puzzled. Not knowing even these things, how exactly did Minato Namikaze know about Ōtsutsuki Kaguya?

“Can’t Ōtsutsuki Kaguya be revived just by breaking the seal?”

Minato Namikaze recounted Muzuki’s description of the Ōtsutsuki crisis in Six Paths City, and also mentioned that Muzuki had obtained Six Paths Chakra.

“Perhaps the Ōtsutsuki Kaguya of your world is a bit different from ours.”

    Sasuke speculated.

If Muzuki were just an ordinary Hokage, Sasuke could, of course, directly say that Muzuki was wrong and his information was correct.

But Muzuki was not only the Hokage but also the Ninja World leader who promoted the Ninja World Alliance, and he had obtained Six Paths Chakra in a different way. Plus, since this was a parallel world, Sasuke couldn’t guarantee that he was absolutely correct.

If Danzo Shimura could be eliminated early, and Naruto could have both parents, it was quite reasonable for Ōtsutsuki Kaguya to be a bit different.

    “That should be the case.”

    Minato Namikaze said after thinking.

All their information about Ōtsutsuki Kaguya came from Muzuki, and Sasuke’s words conflicted with Muzuki’s information.

Minato Namikaze would certainly lean more towards Muzuki than Sasuke, whom he had only met twice.

    “Suigetsu, I trouble you.”

Minato Namikaze said with a gentle smile, thanking him.

Sasuke’s information might not be useful, but it was at least a reference.

“Apologies, due to some reasons earlier, we used fake names. I am actually Uchiha Sasuke.”

Sasuke no longer concealed his identity and revealed his true name.

    “Uchiha Sasuke?”

Minato Namikaze remembered something and showed a hint of surprise.

Their family had a good relationship with Fugaku’s family, often visiting each other. Naruto and Sasuke often played together, so Minato Namikaze was not unfamiliar with this name.

    “I am Uzumaki Boruto.”

Seeing that Sasuke had revealed his identity, Boruto also eagerly introduced himself.

    “Uzumaki Boruto… You’re ‘Naruto’s’ child, aren’t you?”

Minato Namikaze thought for a moment and said.

Previously, they guessed Boruto was Muzuki’s child mainly because they didn’t know Sasuke and couldn’t determine from what era the two had traveled from.

Now that Sasuke’s identity was clear, coupled with Boruto’s appearance and name, Boruto’s identity was easy to confirm.

    “Hehe.”

    Boruto chuckled and nodded.

“Do you know the Breathing Technique? The Yang Release Breathing?”

    Minato Namikaze suddenly asked.

He felt that Uzumaki Boruto’s parallel world was very similar to Uzumaki Naruto’s, perhaps it was the same parallel world but a different timeline.

The reason he didn’t know about the parallel world might be that Uzumaki Naruto kept this matter a secret in his heart.

“I don’t know, what is that?”

Boruto shook his head with a blank expression.

“Nothing, it seems I was wrong.”

Minato Namikaze silently dismissed his conjecture.

Uzumaki Naruto would have no reason not to pass on such a useful secret technique as Yang Release Breathing to his descendants.

Clearly, Boruto and Sasuke came from a second parallel world, a completely new parallel world.

    Bang!

Suddenly, a dull thud sounded, and the wall of the Hokage Office, along with the barrier, was shattered. A floating man in white robes entered the Hokage Office.

“Kid, didn’t anyone teach you not to take other people’s things without permission?”

Ōtsutsuki Urashiki scanned the room, finally fixing his gaze on Boruto as he spoke.

He could sense that “Karura” was on Boruto’s person.

His biggest goal in coming to the Ninja World was to find “Karura”; everything else was secondary. Naturally, he couldn’t tolerate the treasure he had finally found being stolen.

    “He came so quickly.”

Sasuke gripped his sword hilt instantly, his expression somewhat grim.

Chakra that was fished out and Chakra consumed through use were different; the former would cause a certain degree of internal injury, leading to slower Chakra recovery.

Therefore, his Chakra had not fully recovered, and he probably wasn’t a match for Ōtsutsuki Urashiki.

“Fifth Hokage, you use the Flying Thunder God Technique to take Boruto away first. I’ll hold Ōtsutsuki Urashiki back.”

Sasuke quickly shouted to Minato Namikaze, then drew his sword and charged towards Ōtsutsuki Urashiki.

    Clang!

Ōtsutsuki Urashiki casually raised his red light fishing rod and blocked Sasuke’s slash.

“You dare to attack me when your Chakra hasn’t even recovered? Your courage is commendable.”

Sasuke, without changing his expression, swiftly kicked towards Ōtsutsuki Urashiki.

    “But, too slow!”

Ōtsutsuki Urashiki flashed, dodging Sasuke’s kick, and swung his red light fishing rod at Sasuke. Although Sasuke managed to block the attack with his Kusanagi Sword in time, he was still knocked back a certain distance.

And Ōtsutsuki Urashiki completely ignored Sasuke, rushing directly towards Boruto.

    “Ōtsutsuki Urashiki… Such fast movements.”

With just one move, Minato Namikaze could sense Ōtsutsuki Urashiki’s impressive strength.

    Whoosh!

Without hesitation, he immediately activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, taking Boruto out of the Hokage Office, leaving Ōtsutsuki Urashiki to grasp at thin air.

“You think you can escape with spatial transfer? Naive.”

Ōtsutsuki Urashiki switched his eyes from the blue Rinnegan to the Byakugan, quickly locking onto Boruto’s Chakra.

    “Yomotsu Hirasaka!”

As Ōtsutsuki Urashiki condensed Chakra, a black spatial gate quickly formed behind him.

Ōtsutsuki Urashiki blocked Sasuke’s attack and entered the spatial gate.

    Whoosh!

At this moment, Minato Namikaze reappeared in the Hokage Office, just in time to see the disappearing Ōtsutsuki Urashiki.

    “Quick, take me to Boruto.”

    Sasuke said quickly.

Minato Namikaze placed his hand on Sasuke and activated the Flying Thunder God Technique again.
