Chapter Index

    Thump, thump~

Fleck and the others quickly reached the bottom, arriving at an underground passage.

They walked along the passage, seeing many Abyek Kingdom soldiers armed with weapons along the way.

Although these soldiers had no interaction with Fleck and the others, the looks in their eyes revealed unfriendliness and disgust when they looked at Fleck and the others.

However, Fleck and the others didn’t mind and continued walking forward.

Soon, they exited the passage and arrived at the Interstellar Airport’s underground waiting hall.

At this moment, an old man wearing a small black hat, with a face full of wrinkles, and dressed in a black vest, rushed over and spoke to Fleck.

    “Lord Fleck, you’ve finally arrived.”

“Wei Le, why are you here alone? And where are the goods we need to transfer?”

Vice Principal Fuleike looked at Wei Le with some confusion and asked.

“Oh dear! Lord Fleck, something has happened!”

    Wei Le said anxiously.

    “What happened?”

Fleck and the others were startled when they heard Wei Le’s words, and with grim faces, they asked, truly, what you worry about most is what happens.

“Our mining area in the Abyek Kingdom’s Ge Tuosi Ge Grand Canyon has been occupied by rebels.”

“Rebels? What nonsense are you talking about? Where did the Abyek Kingdom get rebels from?”

“I don’t know either. Now that entire area is occupied, and hundreds of us have been captured. We don’t know what to do!”

    Wei Le asked urgently.

“No, with such a large rebel force, isn’t the Abyek Kingdom doing anything about it? Didn’t you tell them?”

Fleck also felt it was too absurd.

“I did, how could I not?”

Wei Le replied with a terrible headache.

Just then, a middle-aged man dressed in an exquisite gray robe, with a cloth wrapped around his head, and somewhat dark skin, walked over with a group of soldiers.

The man bowed to Fleck and greeted him politely.

“You are Lord Fleck, aren’t you?”

    “You are?”

Fleck looked at the man in front of him, frowning tightly as he asked.

“I am Martins, the diplomat of the Abyek Kingdom. His Majesty specially sent me to receive you.”

    Martins introduced himself to Fleck.

“You’ve come at a good time. What’s going on with that rebel force? Are you just going to watch our mining area be occupied by them and do nothing?”

    Fleck asked angrily.

“Lord Fleck, let me correct you. That rebel force has occupied not only your mining area, but the entire surrounding area! And it’s not that we don’t want to deal with them, but that rebel force is supported by the Imperial Army. How dare we provoke them?”

Martins said to Fleck with great helplessness.

“Supported by the Imperial Army? Are you sure you’re not mistaken?”

Fleck and the others’ expressions turned very ugly when they heard Martins’ words.

“Absolutely true. Precisely because they are supported by the Imperial Army, we simply don’t dare to touch them.”

“So what do we do now?”

“Lord, we have no choice. But you can fight them and reclaim the mining area.”

    Martins offered a solution.

“We can’t fight! That rebel force is formidable, and their weapons are particularly complete. They have not only mechs, but also various weapons to deal with mechs, and anti-ship missiles to deal with high-level warships.”

Wei Le quickly explained the situation.

Mia and the other teachers’ faces all sank when they heard Wei Le’s words.

Fleck’s brows furrowed, and he said to Martins.

“Lord Martins, can your country not send troops to help us?”

“Lord Fleck, aren’t you making things difficult for our country? The Imperial Army is so brutal now, who dares to oppose them? Of course, if you let the Federation declare protection for us, we will immediately send troops to help you eliminate this rebel force without a second thought.”

    Martins said to Fleck.

Fleck almost jumped up when he heard Martins’ words. He wouldn’t dare agree to protect the Abyek Kingdom.

He would rather not have that mining area than do such a thing.

However, he still suppressed his anger and said.

“No, I cannot make that decision.”

“Then I can do nothing to help.”

Seeing that Fleck was unwilling to protect them, Martins spread his hands and replied helplessly.

“Lord Fleck, what do we do now? We still have so many people in their hands.”

Opham said with a tight frown.

    “Let me think.”

Fleck’s head was about to explode.

Just then, Martins’ eyes darted, and he coughed, then spoke.

“Lord Fleck, how about this. You all go back first. As for the hostages, we will try to negotiate with the rebels and do our best to get them all back, how does that sound?”

Fleck’s eyes narrowed when he heard this, and he immediately said.

“Lord Martins, how about you allow me to think about it?”

“Alright, I await your reply at any time. I’ll take my leave now.”

    “Walk slowly!”

    “Goodbye.”

Martins left directly with his people.

After Martins had walked far away, Teacher Chen Yue, who had a fiery temper, couldn’t help but curse.

“Damn it, these guys are definitely doing this on purpose. What rebel force? They’re probably their own people.”

“Chen Yue, watch your words. Let’s return to the ship to discuss.”

Fleck suppressed his anger and said coldly.

    “Alright!”

Chen Yue and the other teachers could only suppress their indignation.

A moment later, Fleck and the others all gathered in the ship’s conference room.

“You’ve all seen the situation, speak your minds!”

    Fleck said angrily.

“What is there to say? This is clearly forcing us to make a choice: either protect them, or pack up and leave, leaving all the supplies behind.”

Mia replied with a yawn. She saw through this little trick at a glance.

“If you ask me, didn’t they tell us to fight? Then let’s fight for them to see!”

    Teacher Tang Xuan said indignantly.

“No, we can’t fight! Are you kidding me? We’ve already lost so many students. If we really go up and fight, even if we win, how many students would die?”

Vice Principal Fuleike rejected it without even thinking. Every time a student died, his heart bled.

At this moment, Commander Xiao Ye also spoke.

“The Red Fang’s forces are not many to begin with, and nearly half were lost in the last rescue. We don’t have the capability to fight! If we really have to fight, students and teachers would probably have to be the main force, so I also don’t recommend fighting.”

“Can we ask the military for help?”

    Opham tried to ask.

“Don’t dream. Those people in the military are already busy enough themselves; they don’t have time to deal with our trivial matters.”

Mia waved her hand and directly dismissed it.

“Then what do we do? We can’t really give all the supplies to the Abyek Kingdom, can we? And if they help us get the hostages back, we’ll owe them a favor!”

    Chen Yue said angrily.

“So what do we do now? These old foxes have already set a trap for us! And there’s one more thing, even if you really have the ability to call in reinforcements from elsewhere to fight this rebel force. Let’s not even talk about whether it’s worth it, I’ll just ask two points: First, can you guarantee the safety of the hostages? Second, after we eliminate the rebels, will the Abyek Kingdom turn hostile?”

Mia, abandoning her usual carefree demeanor, reminded them coldly.

Everyone’s faces grew even uglier when they heard Mia’s words. This was simply a dead end.
