Chapter Index

Timmy finally understood why the Federal Government had gone to such lengths to rescue Taiboken Planet when it was attacked by Kirami.

They weren’t rescuing the Taiboken royal family members at all; they were rescuing their own Biological Mecha experimental base.

A terrifying thought even involuntarily surfaced in Timmy’s mind.

Was the sudden attack and destruction of the Taiboken Transit Planet by Kirami an accident, or was there more to it? Was it related to this Biological Mecha experimental base, or was it related to the Federal Government?

    “Whew!”

The more Timmy thought about it, the more horrifying it became. She took a deep breath, suppressing her panicked heart.

At this moment, Dierken spoke to the excited crowd, issuing a stern command.

“No one is allowed to touch the Biological Mecha here!”

“Ah? Aren’t we taking the Mecha from here to enhance our combat power?”

“That’s right, it’s a rare opportunity to touch a 4th Generation Biological Mecha.”

Everyone expressed their regret upon hearing Dierken’s command.

“Biological Mecha have very strict piloting conditions, and our purpose in coming down here isn’t to find weapons. Our goal is to rescue and win this league.”

Although Dierken didn’t know why the Federal Government would use this obscure piece of history as content for the league competition.

But he didn’t want everyone to focus on these Biological Mecha now, because many things couldn’t withstand scrutiny.

    Inside the Iron Guard cockpit.

An Ruoxue looked at the Biological Mecha one by one, saying with a slight shift in her eyes.

“So the Federal Government began Biological Mecha research and experiments decades ago, and it was even established in an obscure transit country.”

“It’s too strange. Logically speaking, this kind of thing should be confidential, so why would it be used as competition content?”

Su Ming replied with a hint of silence.

    “That’s unclear.”

    An Ruoxue smiled and replied.

Su Ming looked at those Four-Generation Mecha, took a deep breath, and then suggested.

“Chu Yu, An Ruoxue! Later, let’s find an opportunity to take three 4th Generation Biological Mecha while they’re not paying attention, so we won’t be so passive.”

“No, Biological Mecha have extremely strict requirements for pilots. Most people can’t pilot them at all.”

Lin Chuyu replied with a very strong reaction.

Su Ming was also slightly stunned after hearing Lin Chuyu’s words, and he looked at her in confusion, asking.

“Chu Yu, how do you know?”

“I only heard it from others. In any case, don’t try to pilot them.”

Lin Chuyu looked at these ferocious Fourth Generation Mecha and monster bodies with a complicated expression, explaining vaguely.

The piloting of Biological Mecha involved too many secrets; she simply couldn’t explain.

Su Ming saw that Lin Chuyu didn’t want to talk, so he didn’t press further.

At this moment, Timmy also spoke to everyone.

“Dierken is right. No one is to touch anything here. We will continue to explore this base.”

    “Yes!”

Although Eyin and the others felt it was a pity, they still obeyed the command unconditionally.

Timmy controlled her Mecha, turning her head to look at the end of the hangar, where twenty aisle of varying sizes were located. The central main aisle was the most conspicuous, and she immediately gave the command.

    “Let’s go!”

Su Ming and the others immediately followed Timmy forward.

Along the way, Lan Yue and the others constantly turned their heads to look at the Biological Mecha and frozen monsters, while discussing in the team’s communication channel.

“Why do those Biological Mecha look so creepy? They feel like they’re alive?”

“I have that feeling too. Cao Ran, what do you think?”

    “I don’t understand.”

Su Ming shook his head. The Federal Government only revealed the matter of Biological Mecha a few years ago, and related information was kept very secret.

Normally, when a popular Mecha was born, various limited-edition models would be sold.

However, as a brand-new series of Biological Mecha, he had only bought one or two handmade replicas; the official government had not released any authentic products at all.

The only information he knew about Biological Mecha was from a not-so-popular post on the Star Cluster Forum.

That post described Biological Mecha as such: Humanity for the first time possessed the power to rival all enemies, it was a gift from the creator, and also a curse.

“Look at that frozen monster, it’s so ugly! It has segments all over its body, and its head looks like an ant’s head.”

“It wouldn’t be a chimera of Kirami and insects, would it?”

    “Possibly.”

Lan Yue and the others kept pointing.

Su Ming turned his head to look, only to see a monster with an ant’s head, a body like a stick insect, and sharp tentacles, frozen within a glass column covered in frost.

The entire monster looked lifelike, as if it were alive.

At this moment, a female student piloting a Flame Rider, as she passed a glass column, curiously turned her head to glance at it.

Inside the glass column, frozen was a Kirami gene fission body with butterfly wings, a humanoid body, and a female-like face, with a very beautiful appearance.

However, with just that one glance, she was immediately drawn in, and subconsciously controlled her Mecha to stop.

A highly seductive voice echoed in her mind out of nowhere.

“Am I beautiful? Do you want to become as beautiful as I am? Come on, hurry…”

The female student’s mind suddenly became dazed, and she controlled her Mecha to reach out towards the glass column, wanting to wipe away the frost on the surface to see the monster inside more clearly.

Just as her hand was about to touch it.

    “Don’t touch it!”

At this moment, a stern reprimand sounded.

The female student was startled. She turned her head in alarm, only to see Jane Lan approaching, piloting a Third Generation Mecha·Gun Knight.

“Zhang Qing, what are you doing? Dierken has already given the order not to touch it!”

“Sister Jian, I, I don’t know what happened.”

Zhang Qing was completely bewildered; she didn’t know how to explain.

“No touching means no touching! An order is an order! And did you all hear me? Don’t make such idiotic mistakes!”

Jane Lan reprimanded her very sternly.

    “Yes, Sister Jian.”

The other students around, seeing Jane Lan angry, quickly responded.

“Sister Jian is so fierce, that Zhang Qing was scolded so badly!”

Lan Yue and the others discussed in their communication channel.

Zhang Sheng listened to Lan Yue and the others discussing, and sighed, saying.

“Alas, without rules, there can be no order. Especially in the military, what seems like an unintentional act can bring disaster to the team. Everyone has curiosity, but you must learn to control your actions.”

At this moment, Eyin also spoke in the communication channel, which was rare for her.

“Zhang Sheng is right, without rules, there can be no order. It’s fine now in the virtual league, but when we graduate and go to the battlefield, if we kill our comrades because of our foolish actions, it will be too late for regret.”

    “Yes, Sister Eyin.”

Lan Yue and the others responded one after another.
