Chapter 122: Fury (Second Update)
by SunflowerAt this moment, Mia walked towards Su Ming and the others with a dark expression. Su Ming saw Mia approaching and immediately lowered his voice, saying,
“Stop talking, the teacher is here.”
Upon hearing Su Ming’s reminder, Rhine and the others immediately stopped discussing.
Soon, Mia walked up to everyone. Su Ming immediately stepped forward and greeted her.
“Teacher, are we still going to the training room for training today?”
“Training? What training?”
Mia replied irritably.
She couldn’t help but recall what happened last night.
Inside the Royal Court Academy’s Administrative Office.
An old man dressed in a dark, star-patterned robe, with loose skin, a long white beard, and a stern face, roared at Mia like an enraged lion.
“Tell me? What were you thinking, messing up the training room for seven consecutive days?!”
“Vice Principal Fuleike, don’t be angry, let’s talk nicely.”
Mia retreated to a corner, her expression innocent and fearful.
At this time, the training room administrator, the old man, stood quietly to the side, not uttering a word throughout.
He didn’t want to accuse Mia either, but she was simply too much. Messing up the training room once or twice was acceptable, but bringing students to mess it up for seven consecutive days, and showing no signs of stopping—anyone would be unable to bear it.
“How can I not be angry? Is that how you do things?”
“Aren’t I doing this to teach the students well? You can’t expect a horse to run without feeding it grass, can you?”
“Is this feeding grass? You’re directly adding fuel to them! I told you to teach students, but I didn’t tell you to mess things up like this! They are just ordinary students; even students from the inner campus aren’t this extravagant!”
Fleck was almost driven mad by Mia.
Mia was also displeased at this moment. With an attitude of a dead pig not fearing boiling water, she shamelessly said,
“I don’t care, this is the only way I’ll teach. If you’re not happy, then just fire me.”
“You—”
Vice Principal Fuleike was speechless for a moment; he couldn’t possibly fire Mia.
So, Fleck took a few deep breaths, calming his agitated heart, and then said to Mia,
“This time, let it go. If you do this again next time, I’m not done with you. If everyone acts as recklessly as you, everything will fall into chaos.”
“Okay, it won’t happen again.”
Mia immediately said with a joyful smile.
Fleck didn’t bother to listen to Mia’s assurance. Instead, he turned to the administrator and said,
“Grufa, go replace the lock on the training room. Get a bigger one, and send a team of patrol members to guard it.”
“Okay, Lord Fleck.”
Grufa replied with a wry smile.
“Teacher? So what are we training today?”
At this moment, several confused voices interrupted Mia’s reminiscence.
Mia looked at Su Ming and the others, saying somewhat irritably,
“Everyone go back to sleep. Gather again at 8 AM tomorrow. I’ll take you to the training ground then and teach you mech operation.”
“Ah? Are we finally going to practice mech operation skills? I thought we wouldn’t need to!”
“Really?”
Rhine and the others replied in surprise.
They hadn’t expected Mia to actually start teaching them skills.
Mia said irritably,
“Of course it’s true, hurry back to sleep. If people see us in the middle of the night, they’ll think we’re going to steal something.”
“Everyone disperse, go back to the dorms and sleep.”
Seeing Mia say this, Su Ming immediately told everyone to disperse.
Everyone scattered, heading towards the dormitory building.
The next morning.
Su Ming and the others gathered early, waiting for Teacher Mia to arrive.
Rhine and the others chatted excitedly.
“We finally get to learn skills from the teacher.”
“That’s right.”
Although they still felt that Teacher Mia was not very reliable, ever since the last competition, they were completely convinced by Mia’s skills.
Unfortunately, after waiting for a long time, they still didn’t see Mia.
“Why isn’t she here yet? Did she oversleep again?”
Zhang Yi stood on his tiptoes, looking into the distance and asking suspiciously.
“Just wait a bit longer.”
Su Ming checked the time on his phone; it was already 8:30 AM.
Just then, an unfamiliar call came in. Su Ming looked at the number and answered.
“Hello.”
“Su Ming, take the students to the mech training ground and line up first.”
Mia’s lazy voice came from the phone.
“Okay.”
“Do you know where the training ground is?”
“Yes.”
“Alright then, I’m going back to sleep for a bit.”
Mia then hung up the phone.
Su Ming sighed slightly, turned, and shouted to all his classmates,
“Everyone follow me, we’ll go to the training ground to line up first. Teacher Mia will arrive shortly.”
Rhine and the others also looked helpless after hearing this, but they were used to it. They orderly followed Su Ming and left.
Soon after, Su Ming and the others arrived at the mech training area.
The entire mech training area was divided into two parts: an outdoor training ground and a waiting area.
Su Ming led the team to the waiting area. The entire waiting area was packed with students, mainly first-year freshmen, but also quite a few older students.
Su Ming roughly scanned the area; nearly half of the mech department’s 25 new classes had arrived.
“So many people? How long will we have to wait?”
Rhine and the others exclaimed in surprise.
“We still have to line up. No matter how wealthy Royal Court Academy is, the number of training mechs must be limited.”
Su Ming was not very surprised by this situation.
“That’s the only way.”
Rhine and the others sighed.
Time passed bit by bit, and in a blink of an eye, three hours had gone by.
Su Ming and the others were almost falling asleep from waiting, but the number of students waiting to get on a mech in front had not decreased much; in fact, the number seemed to have increased.
Just then, a male student wearing a school uniform, with arrogant eyes and a few freckles on his nose, walked over with a group of students.
They directly bypassed Su Ming and the others and walked to the front.
“Huh? Class leader, something’s not right? Why is Class 2 walking ahead of us?”
Zhang Yi and the others, who had been dozing off, immediately snapped awake and asked Su Ming suspiciously.
“I’m not sure.”
Su Ming also frowned slightly, looking at the people from Class 2.
The students from Class 2 walked directly in front of the Class 9 students and cut right in.
“Class Leader Aubit, they’re cutting in line.”
The Class 9 students immediately erupted in anger, complaining to a burly, thick-browed, big-eyed, and very strong man.
Aubit raised his hand, signaling his classmates not to speak. He walked up to Chen Qi, the Class 2 leader, and questioned him.
“What do you mean?”
“Lining up.”
“If you’re lining up, go to the back. Why are you cutting in front of us?”
“Watch your tone. We’re just lining up normally. Didn’t you see him standing in front of you?”
Chen Qi pointed to a male student standing in front of Class 9.
That male student also spoke with a smug grin.
“That’s right, I arrived earlier than you!”
Aubit also laughed in anger. He grabbed Chen Qi by the collar and said,
“Damn it, are you guys effing idiots? One person cutting in front of our entire class?”
“Watch your mouth, I’m from Class 2.”
Chen Qi said without any fear.
