Chapter Index

At this moment, everyone’s hearts were in their throats, not daring to relax even a little, fearing that the monster would catch up.

Inside the Red Fang’s command room.

Colonel Xiao Ye coldly stared at the nautilus.

Lieutenant Angie, beside him, was extremely tense, continuously reporting the main cannon’s charging status.

    “Main cannon charging 97.6%, 97.7%.”

“Oh no, why aren’t they evacuating yet!”

Fleck was so anxious his throat felt dry; the rescue ships and students had clearly already evacuated.

Just then, Lieutenant Angie suddenly shouted in surprise.

“Look at the top of the nautilus! The teachers are starting to evacuate.”

    “Magnify the image!”

    Fleck shouted impatiently.

    “Alright!”

Angie immediately operated the controls, and a square image frame popped up, clearly showing Azure Wing Mechas and Iron Guards rushing out.

“Angie, ask Major Gene about the evacuation status.”

    Fleck said coldly.

    “Yes.”

Angie immediately connected to Major Gene.

Two seconds later, the communication connected successfully. Before Angie could even ask, Major Gene anxiously shouted.

“Everyone has evacuated, but the rampaging 4th Generation Biological Mecha inside is about to break out!”

Upon hearing this, Commander Xiao Ye, with a cold wave of his hand, issued an order.

“Lock the main cannon onto the nautilus’s power area, accelerate charging!”

    “Locking on, target successfully locked!”

    Subordinates quickly reported.

    “Unleash all loaded missiles!”

Major Gene first issued the order to unleash.

    Whoosh!

All of the Red Fang’s launch ports opened, and missiles shot out, flying towards the nautilus.

Su Ming and the others were startled by this sight and all accelerated their escape.

At this moment, Angie reported from the command room.

    “Main cannon fully charged!”

    “Fire!”

Commander Xiao Ye didn’t hesitate for a moment, waving his hand to give the order.

A dazzling stream of light streaked across the starry sky, and two waves of attacks simultaneously struck the center of the nautilus.

    A massive explosion swept outwards.

Su Ming controlled the Gun Knight to activate its energy barrier, blocking the impact.

He then glanced back at the destroyed nautilus, sighing softly. Although most of the survivors had been rescued.

However, Su Ming was very clear about one thing: there were still many safe havens in that city that hadn’t been explored.

But there was nothing to be done. The Red Fang had truly done its best. If they didn’t attack and allowed that 4th Generation Biological Mecha to break out, everyone would be in danger.

    “Phew!”

Su Ming let out a small breath, controlling the Gun Knight to fly towards the Red Fang.

    Inside the Red Fang’s hangar.

The rescued survivors embraced each other, each weeping with joy.

Many students and soldiers anxiously looked towards the boarding passage.

    “Why aren’t they back yet!”

“Yeah, nothing bad happened, did it?”

“Don’t jinx it! The teachers are so powerful, how could anything happen to them?”

Just then, the indicator lights on the boarding gates lit up one by one.

    “They’re here!”

Rhine and the others shouted excitedly.

    Whoosh!

Mechas slid into the hangar at high speed, with the last one being the Gun Knight piloted by Su Ming.

    Hiss~

Accompanied by the sound of air hissing, mechas opened their cockpits one by one.

Major Gene, Opham, Mia, and others jumped down from their mechas.

Rhine and the others rushed to Mia’s side and asked.

“Teacher, are you alright? Are you hurt?”

“I’m fine, I’m perfectly fine. How about you all? Were there any casualties?”

    Mia quickly asked.

“No, our class is all good. But other classes aren’t so good; I heard many people died.”

Rhine and the others looked a bit downcast as they said this.

    “Sigh!”

Mia sighed and didn’t say much more.

She turned her head to the Gun Knight parked beside her and called out.

    “Su Ming, how are you?”

    “I’m fine, Teacher!”

At this moment, Su Ming also opened his cockpit and jumped down, followed by Dr. Li Mengqi and Dr. Tingli.

“It’s good that you’re fine. Wait, who are these two?”

Mia was startled to see Li Mengqi and Tingli jump down from the mecha.

“Let me introduce you. These are Dr. Li Mengqi and Dr. Tingli, who were the rescue targets this time!”

    Su Ming replied straightforwardly.

Dr. Tingli and Dr. Li Mengqi then removed their mechanical helmets, revealing their faces.

Li Mengqi looked very young, with straight black hair and fair skin, giving off an intellectual aura.

As for Dr. Tingli, he appeared to be over seventy, with thinning hair and a very stern expression.

Mia’s face immediately broke into a wide smile as she clearly saw their appearances!

“Haha! We’re rich! You actually rescued both of them!”

At this moment, Major Gene and the others heard Mia’s exaggerated laughter and turned to look.

When they saw Li Mengqi and the other, they were also startled and quickly walked over.

Inside the Red Fang’s command room.

Lieutenant Angie reported to Commander Xiao Ye.

    “All mechas have boarded.”

    “Quick, leave here.”

Commander Xiao Ye didn’t hesitate to issue the order. Even though he had completely sunk the nautilus with the main cannon.

Even so, Commander Xiao Ye wasn’t 100% confident that he had eliminated that rampaging 4th Generation Biological Mecha.

    “Yes! Ignite!”

Angie and the others immediately operated the ship to activate its propulsion system, controlling the vessel to leave the area.

After the spaceship safely left the area, Commander Xiao Ye finally breathed a sigh of relief and asked wearily.

“Angie, report the results and casualties of this operation.”

“Yes, Commander Xiao Ye! According to the current information, a total of 42,511 survivors were rescued, and there were 284 fatalities, including 241 military personnel, which comprises combat personnel and subsequent rescue personnel, and the remaining 43 were students.”

Lieutenant Angie then provided precise data.

Vice Principal Fuleike, standing nearby, heard that 43 students had died and immediately clutched his heart, showing an expression of deep sorrow.

Commander Xiao Ye calmly continued to ask.

“What about those two doctors and the items?”

“Unfortunately, they were not rescued, and the items were not found either.”

Angie shook his head and replied.

Commander Xiao Ye fell into thought upon hearing Angie’s words. Although many people were rescued in this operation, it was still a failure.

At this moment, a communication request popped up on the operation screen.

Angie glanced at it and then reported.

“Commander Xiao Ye, it’s General Jessa sending a communication request.”

    “Connect, connect it for me.”

Vice Principal Fuleike heard that it was General Jessa sending the communication and shouted with great excitement.

Angie looked at Commander Xiao Ye with some hesitation. Commander Xiao Ye didn’t speak, but merely nodded slightly in agreement.

Seeing Commander Xiao Ye agree, Lieutenant Angie connected the call.

Jessa’s image immediately appeared. Before he could even open his mouth to ask Commander Xiao Ye about the rescue situation.

Vice Principal Fuleike directly launched into an angry question.

“Jessa, look at what you’ve done! Why did you conceal the fact that there were so many survivors on the ship? Because of you, so many of my students died.”

Jessa frowned upon hearing Fleck’s accusation and replied.

    “Many survivors?”
