Chapter Index

Liu Qing hesitated for a moment, then tapped his wristband twice, projecting Su Ming’s scores from his two previous tests.

When Aris saw Su Ming’s scores, he immediately felt insulted, and his face turned extremely ugly, while Fumson cursed furiously.

“Such garbage test scores qualify for a real mecha test? Are you crazy?”

“Exactly! With such poor scores, not only will the pilot die, but 99% of the mecha will go berserk.”

Martha said coldly to Liu Qing.

“I thought so too, which is why I called all three of you here. If it goes berserk, I’ll need you to forcefully suppress it!”

Liu Qing was also quite flustered at the moment.

“Which brain-dead idiot gave that order?”

    Fumson cursed directly.

Aris also looked at Liu Qing at this point, coldly questioning him.

“Who exactly gave the test order? This will ruin a IV Generation Biological Mecha!”

    “Lord Blacks.”

Dr. Liu Qing sighed and told the three of them.

Upon hearing Liu Qing’s words, Aris and the other two immediately fell silent. Blacks was their direct superior, and they understood what kind of person he was; he would not change his mind once he decided on something.

However, precisely because of this, Aris’s expression grew even more solemn. He said coldly,

“Get ready quickly, and stay alert! A berserk mecha is very difficult to handle, especially the villain. Its combat power will definitely be very strong!”

    “Understood!”

Fumson and the other person responded gravely.

    Inside the changing room.

Su Ming changed into a form-fitting pilot suit. This suit was made of special material; once worn, it adhered directly to the skin without any discomfort, feeling as if he wasn’t wearing anything at all.

    “Phew!”

Su Ming walked to the mirror, looking at himself in his new clothes, and felt a hint of pressure.

If he hadn’t had the two previous tests, he might not have felt so much pressure, as those scores were truly abysmal.

However, Su Ming gazed at himself in the mirror, his eyes growing firmer, and then he walked outside.

Soon, he arrived at the Test Hangar – Waiting Area.

At this moment, the hangar’s broadcast continuously played various alert sounds.

“Defrosting fluid is being injected, expected to complete in five minutes.”

“Cell activity data is being collected.”

    “Mecha data is normal.”

    “External power is being connected.”

One by one, staff members operated mechanical equipment, making preparations in an orderly fashion.

Just then, the entire test mecha vibrated violently.

In the three directions corresponding to the test mecha, the ground suddenly cracked open, and three black metal platforms rose, each carrying a menacing IV Generation Biological Mecha. Unlike the IV Generation Biological Mecha – villain, these three 4th Generation Biological Mecha had no fixed devices or connecting cables on them.

In Observation Area 1, Hugh Eun and the others were all shocked.

    “Three Biological Mecha stationed?”

Su Ming looked at these three Biological Mecha, feeling even greater pressure.

    Laboratory Central Area.

Blacks looked at the test hangar on the virtual screen and asked indifferently.

“How much longer until it starts?”

“Estimated ten minutes later, everything will be ready, and the test can proceed!”

    Celes reported to Blacks.

    “As soon as possible!”

    Blacks replied expressionlessly.

    Inside the Test Hangar.

Hugh Eun and the others all focused their gazes on the IV Generation Biological Mecha – villain, each of them holding their breath.

    “All preparations complete!”

    “Pilot, prepare!”

Dr. Borden’s voice rang out over the broadcast.

Under everyone’s gaze, Su Ming walked directly towards the IV Generation Biological Mecha – villain.

Everyone’s hearts were in their throats, and the atmosphere on site was exceptionally tense.

Soon, Su Ming arrived in front of the IV Generation Biological Mecha – villain. He looked up at the terrifying behemoth before him, and the blood in his body began to boil.

However, just then, Vice City Lord Okens’s holographic image suddenly cut into the test hangar, and he shouted sternly,

    “Terminate the test!”

Su Ming and everyone else on site were instantly startled.

Inside the Test Control Room, Liu Qing and the others all asked Dr. Borden.

“Lord Borden, what do we do now?”

    “Pause first, and await orders.”

Borden was also in a dilemma; the test order was issued by Blacks, and the stop order came from Vice City Lord Okens. He could not afford to offend either of them.

    “Yes!”

Liu Qing and the others quickly responded.

In the Laboratory Central Control Room, Celes reported to Blacks.

“The test has been terminated. Vice City Lord Okens has intervened and sent a communication request, asking to have a video call with you.”

    Celes said to Blacks.

    “Connect!”

    Blacks replied coldly.

    “Yes!”

Celes then presented Vice City Lord Okens’s communication image to Blacks.

In the image, Vice City Lord Okens, suppressing his anger, said to Blacks,

“Blacks, Diluka has told me everything. The real mecha test must be stopped!”

    “No.”

Blacks directly rejected Vice City Lord Okens without any hesitation.

Okins’s blood pressure immediately soared, his entire face flushed, and he said grimly,

“There has to be a limit to your recklessness. I’ve seen Su Ming’s test scores; they absolutely do not meet the standard for a real mecha test. You’ll kill him! I’m warning you, Su Ming is not your experimental subject. If he were an ordinary nobody, I would tolerate it. But he is a student of Royal Court Academy and exceptionally talented. Even without biological mecha control talent, he possesses super neural link talent, can pilot a Four-Generation pure mechanical mecha without issue, and is a top combat talent seed for the Federation’s future. How can you mess around like this?”

“Everything I do is for the Federation. And he himself hasn’t refused due to the risks, so what’s your opinion?”

Blacks showed no sign of backing down.

“Hmph, don’t be so stubborn. With his data, the Four-Generation Mecha will definitely go berserk. Even if it’s suppressed, it will destroy a IV Generation Biological Mecha. Don’t you know how precious a IV Generation Biological Mecha is?”

    “Rebuild!”

“Enough! You know the Federation’s situation in recent years. Now we’ve finally managed to organize a Three School League, and a heaven-sent genius has emerged. If you get him killed, the entire public opinion will explode. I warn you, do you realize how many accidents your arbitrary and radical actions have caused? How many people are extremely dissatisfied with you? If you cause trouble again now, all your subsequent research will be affected! Furthermore, if you don’t cancel the real mecha test, I will report this to City Lord Gakels. You weigh the consequences yourself!”

Okins was almost driven mad by Blacks.

Blacks, too, fell into a rare silence.

Okins watched him very nervously, afraid that this guy would act stubbornly, his heart in his throat.
