Chapter Index

Su Ming simply reached out and hailed a taxi.

Ankajia and Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter sat in the back, while Su Ming took the front passenger seat.

He said to the driver, “To Dragon Court Interstellar Hotel!”

    “Alright!”

The driver happily started the car and drove forward.

However, not long after they started, Ankajia looked back and noticed something amiss.

He leaned forward and whispered into Su Ming’s ear, “Class Monitor, there’s a black car behind us, following us constantly.”

“Let them follow,” Su Ming replied, unfazed.

    “Okay.”

Ankajia, seeing Su Ming’s calm demeanor, sat back down reassured.

Soon after, the taxi arrived at the entrance of the Dragon Court Interstellar Hotel.

Su Ming, Ankajia, and Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter exited the car and walked straight into the Dragon Court Interstellar Hotel.

At that moment, the trailing black car also stopped at the hotel entrance, and then the windows rolled down.

Zhan Wei looked at the retreating figures of Su Ming and the others, his expression becoming even more grim.

“Sir, what do we do now? They really are students from Royal Court Academy. And this hotel is also Royal Court Academy’s property; we can’t get in at all,” Amu said, swallowing.

“Hmph, do you really think we have no way to deal with them? Let’s go!” Zhan Wei said fiercely, his expression changing.

On the other side, Su Ming and Ankajia led Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter into the hotel lobby, walking directly towards the elevators.

The female attendants along the way also showed surprised expressions when they saw Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter, but they did not step forward to stop them.

They were just attendants here, but Su Ming and the others were students of the academy; just one complaint and they would lose their jobs.

Soon, Su Ming led them to the room door, and Ankajia raised his hand and knocked on the door.

    Thump-thump!

The door was quickly opened by Zhang Yi.

“Su Ming, you’re back! Who are these two?” Zhang Yi opened the door, looking bewildered at Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter.

“Let us in first, then we’ll talk,” Su Ming said calmly.

“Okay!” Zhang Yi quickly made way.

Su Ming led Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter into the room; Rhine and the others were already inside, looking like they had explored a bit, found nothing fun, and returned early.

They were also very surprised to see Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter.

    “Who are these two?”

Katini fearfully held her mother’s hand.

Ms. Hai Lan, bracing herself, apologized to everyone, “Sorry for bothering everyone.”

“Wait, are you sick? You look like you can barely stand,” Rhine keenly noticed the problem.

“That’s right, she’s sick. You guys give up the bed and let her lie down for a bit!” Su Ming directly ordered.

“Okay, come quickly and lie down.” Rhine and the others quickly got off the bed.

“This, this isn’t good. I’m so dirty,” Ms. Hai Lan said, her eyes slightly red.

“There’s nothing bad about it, just lie down! Ankajia, pour them a cup of hot water. Zhang Yi, go find a student from the Medical Department to help; ask them to come and take a look,” Su Ming instructed everyone crisply.

    “Okay!” Zhang Yi rushed out.

Katini quickly helped her mother onto the bed.

Before long, Zhang Yi brought in a quiet girl. She helped diagnose and then prescribed some medicine.

After Ms. Hai Lan took the medicine, although she didn’t get better immediately, her mental state improved significantly.

At this point, Ankajia had generally explained the situation to Rhine and the others.

Rhine and the others cursed one after another.

“Damn, those guys are so arrogant?”

    “Is there still law here?”

Su Ming calmly walked to the edge of the bed and asked quietly, “Ms. Hai Lan, do you feel better?”

“Much better, thank you,” Ms. Hai Lan replied gratefully.

“Ms. Hai Lan, as you can see, those people are clearly targeting you. I feel like you definitely can’t stay in Black Flame City. Do you have any other place you can go?” Su Ming did not ask Ms. Hai Lan why they were targeted by those people; he knew the reason clearly, it was nothing more than for profit.

Upon hearing Su Ming’s words, Ms. Hai Lan said with a sorrowful expression, “The Scarlet Empire has been destroyed. We have nowhere to go.”

“You are from Scarlet Country?” Rhine said with a sigh.

In fact, Scarlet Country was considered one of the Neutral Countries that had a relatively good relationship with the Federation. Otherwise, the envoy would not have appeared at the City Lord’s Mansion entrance.

“Yes,” Ms. Hai Lan replied, lowering her head.

“This is troublesome,” Su Ming frowned slightly.

“Wait, isn’t there an envoy mission from Scarlet Country in Starlight City? You can go find the mission,” Zhang Yi suddenly remembered the Scarlet Country’s envoy mission.

“Is our envoy mission really in the Federation?” Ms. Hai Lan’s eyes immediately showed a glimmer of hope.

“Yes, we saw them with our own eyes,” Su Ming replied very affirmatively.

“Can you send us to the envoy mission?” Ms. Hai Lan said, almost pleadingly.

“Su Ming, this seems a bit difficult, doesn’t it? Unless they come with us on the ship, stay until the mission is over, and then return with us to Third Planet,” Rhine reminded Su Ming with some difficulty.

“Zhang Yi, go invite Teacher Mia. This matter still needs her help,” Su Ming said after some thought.

“Okay!” Zhang Yi immediately ran out.

“Sorry for bothering you all so much,” Ms. Hai Lan said to Su Ming and the others, feeling very apologetic.

“No need to thank me. This is no longer just your personal matter. Although I don’t like to provoke people, I’m never afraid of trouble, and since I’ve taken it on, I’ll see it through to the end,” Su Ming replied with a very calm expression.

“That’s right, you don’t have to worry. There’s nothing our Class Monitor can’t solve,” Rhine and the others said, full of confidence in Su Ming.

Su Ming looked helplessly at Rhine and the others and said, “Alright, stop talking nonsense.”

Just then, Mia and Zhang Yi walked in, with Zhang Yi chattering endlessly, recounting the events to Mia.

“Teacher, you don’t know how pitiful they are. Those guys are really super arrogant.”

“Alright, stop talking. My ears are getting calloused,” Mia said, her head aching.

Zhang Yi, seeing that Mia didn’t want him to talk anymore, could only helplessly close his mouth.

Mia glanced at Ms. Hai Lan and her daughter, then sighed as she looked at Su Ming, “You really know how to find trouble for me.”

Su Ming also smiled and said to Mia, “Teacher, please help them. Let them take the ship and return to Starlight City with us, so they can reunite with the envoy mission.”

“Alright, I’ll talk to Vice Principal Fuleike and let the two of them come on the ship. But they can’t sleep in the same room as you. What kind of situation would that be?” Mia, seeing Su Ming asking for her help, could only reluctantly agree.

“Teacher is the best! The room situation is fine; we’ll squeeze in with others and give up the room,” Rhine and the others said happily.

“Forget it. Ten people in one room is already crowded enough. Do you want to sleep twenty people? They’ll stay in my room,” Mia directly finalized the matter.
