Chapter Index

On the other side, Tang Xuan seized the opportunity. The moment the Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth clashed with Opham, she swiftly attacked from behind, raising her beam saber and plunging it directly into the Camouflage Mother Moth’s body.

The Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth immediately let out a painful shriek, and its Pollock biological reaction plummeted.

Seeing this, Opham seized the chance to charge forward, using his saber to sever the Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth’s insect claw that was gripping the Iron Guard. He then pulled the Iron Guard towards him.

At this moment, the heavily wounded Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth’s abdomen bulged, and its insect tail once again sprayed a large area of corrosive green mist, completely engulfing all three, Opham included.

Opham’s heart jumped, and he quickly retreated with the Iron Guard.

The Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth, completely disregarding its injuries, lunged at Opham, opening its gaping maw and desperately trying to bite him.

Opham reacted immediately, raising his beam saber to block.

    Crack!

The Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth bit furiously on the beam saber, completely ignoring its burnt mouth.

Opham desperately controlled his mecha to resist, and the entire Azure Wing Mecha’s arm joints groaned.

It looked like Opham was about to give out.

Tang Xuan controlled her mecha, leaping up from behind and swinging her beam saber horizontally.

    Snap!

The Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth’s head was instantly severed.

Viscous blood spurted out like a fountain, and then the massive body of the Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth crashed to the ground.

    “Winnie, are you alright!”

After dealing with the Type III General-class · Psychedelic Moth, Tang Xuan quickly asked Winnie, who had been captured.

“I’m fine, but Teacher, the mecha is damaged and can’t move. The internal wiring is destroyed.”

    Winnie replied, full of trepidation.

“Don’t be afraid, we’ll take you out of here.”

    Tang Xuan comforted Winnie.

    “Okay, Teacher!”

Winnie replied, her eyes red and tears welling up.

    At this moment, Opham spoke.

“Let’s go, Su Ming probably can’t hold on much longer.”

    “Alright!”

    Tang Xuan immediately responded.

So, Opham and Tang Xuan, pulling the Iron Guard, turned to go back and help Su Ming.

However, the scene before them stunned both of them. Su Ming, in his overclocked state, had gone berserk. He was fighting the enraged Camouflage Mother Moth while frantically slaughtering the Psychedelic Moths that were attacking him. Psychedelic Moth corpses were everywhere.

At this moment, Su Ming, who was battling the Camouflage Mother Moth, keenly detected an anomaly. Unbeknownst to him, the Azure Wing Mecha he was piloting was covered in many inconspicuous gray insect powders.

Just then, the enraged Camouflage Mother Moth attacked Su Ming again. Su Ming was about to control his mecha to dodge and counterattack.

    Buzz!

The entire Azure Wing Mecha suddenly flickered with gray electrical arcs.

Red alert boxes popped up on the screen.

    “Warning: Mecha interference detected.”

    “Damn it! What is this?”

Su Ming barely managed to control his mecha’s arm to move, raising his beam saber to block!

    Bang!

A huge insect claw swept across the beam saber, and the entire Azure Wing Mecha was subjected to a massive force, sending it flying and crashing to the ground.

At this point, the interfered Azure Wing gradually returned to normal after the impact.

Su Ming immediately controlled his mecha to get up.

The Camouflage Mother Moth let out a piercing insect cry and ferociously charged towards Su Ming.

Su Ming held his breath, preparing to meet the attack, when two beams of light blasted over, striking the Camouflage Mother Moth’s massive body directly.

    Boom!

A huge explosion erupted on the Camouflage Mother Moth’s body, blasting two bloody, gaping holes. The Camouflage Mother Moth’s massive body momentarily froze.

Su Ming was slightly startled and turned his head to look.

He saw Opham and Tang Xuan charging over, shouting at Su Ming.

    “We rescued the person, retreat!”

Su Ming took a deep breath, and without hesitation, turned and flew towards the main passage entrance.

Seeing Su Ming and the others trying to escape, the Camouflage Mother Moth opened its gaping maw and let out an angry insect cry, as Psychedelic Moths swarmed to pursue them.

Immediately after, the Camouflage Mother Moth also flapped its wings and flew towards the main passage entrance.

At this time, Su Ming, the two teachers, and the Iron Guard rushed into the main passage, desperately fleeing outwards, with a dense swarm of Psychedelic Moths trailing behind them.

They were like a disturbed hornet’s nest, constantly being chased.

The entire scanning device’s alarm blared incessantly.

    “Quick, run!”

Opham’s nerves were stretched to their limit. If they were caught, it would be troublesome.

Winnie’s heart was in her throat, and she dared not utter a sound.

Su Ming looked at the red dots displayed on the scanning screen; these red dots were getting closer and closer to them. If this continued, they would almost certainly be caught.

Thinking of this, Su Ming’s eyes narrowed. Without a moment’s hesitation, he abruptly controlled his mecha to stop and turned to face the swarming Psychedelic Moths.

“Su Ming! Don’t do anything foolish!”

Opham and Tang Xuan’s hearts trembled. They instinctively thought Su Ming was going to stay behind to cover their retreat.

Just then, Su Ming controlled the beam cannon on his Azure Wing Mecha’s shoulder, at full power, to sweep across the tunnel’s rock wall.

    Rumble!

The top of the tunnel’s rock wall exploded, and countless rocks collapsed, blocking the passage and stopping the attacking Psychedelic Moths.

    “Excellent!”

    Opham couldn’t help but praise.

    “Go!”

Su Ming didn’t hesitate for a second, turning to control his mecha and flee outwards.

A few minutes later, three mechas, pulling one Iron Guard, burst out of the insect nest and flew rapidly outwards.

After flying for a distance, Su Ming turned his head back to look. Seeing no Psychedelic Moths pursuing them, his tensed nerves slightly relaxed. He then checked his coordinates, silently recording the approximate location of the insect nest.

At this moment, in the public communication channel, Tang Xuan spoke, a hint of fatigue in her voice.

    “We should be safe now.”

Opham then said in a deep voice.

“There are still 26 minutes until the mothership activates its superluminal flight device. We should make it back in time.”

“Not necessarily. Teachers, you might have overlooked something: the ship is constantly moving forward, and its speed is not slow.”

    Su Ming calmly reminded them.

“Damn it! How could I have overlooked that?”

    Opham was startled and said.

“The most urgent task now is to return quickly, but dragging the Iron Guard is really affecting our speed too much.”

Su Ming said to his two teachers.

“Winnie, open your cockpit and get into my mecha.”

Tang Xuan immediately said to Winnie.

    “Okay, Teacher!”

Winnie quickly opened her cockpit. Tang Xuan then controlled her mecha to move closer, opened her own cockpit, and then pulled the floating Winnie inside.

Immediately after, Tang Xuan closed the Azure Wing Mecha’s cockpit.

At this moment, Opham spoke to Su Ming and Tang Xuan.

“We’ll control our mechas, hold hands, and link up, pushing forward at maximum speed to see if we can catch up to the mothership!”

    “Alright!”

Su Ming and Tang Xuan immediately agreed.

Thus, the three Azure Wing Mechas put away their weapons, crossed their hands to form a circle, and with full power, flew rapidly towards the distant starry sky.
