Chapter 233: Departure (Bonus chapter for Alliance Leader Wuxie Mei Fan Nao) (Third update)
by SunflowerSu Ming immediately spoke to Rhine.
“Rhine, help me pack my luggage back at the dorm. I have some things to take care of and will be back later.”
“Alright!”
Rhine agreed without a second thought.
Su Ming, on the other hand, ran towards the Polaris Club building. He didn’t know how long this voyage would take before he could return.
Before he left, he wanted to sign the Third Generation Mecha repair contract with Mottle.
As Su Ming ran, he picked up his phone and opened the Polaris group chat within the Star Cluster Forum. The entire club chat was incredibly lively.
“Those guys from the Imperial Army are really like mad dogs, occupying so many Neutral Countries, and there’s no end to it!”
“What can be done about it? The Federation doesn’t care about anything, constantly giving in!”
“I’m really fed up. Retreating again and again, they’ll definitely regret it later.”
“Discussion is discussion, don’t bring the Federation into it.”
Su Ming scanned the chat content of many senior and junior students, then found Mottle through the group list and messaged him privately.
“Are you there, senior?”
Soon, Mottle replied to Su Ming.
“I’m here, junior!”
“I want to repair that Third Generation Mecha. I’ve gathered enough money.”
“Come to the Polaris Club, and we’ll sign the contract!”
“Alright!”
Su Ming quickly responded, then hailed a public school bus by the roadside to head to the Polaris building.
Three hours later.
Rhine and the others had all pulled their suitcases and reassembled in the central courtyard. Of course, it wasn’t just Su Ming’s class that had gathered; all first-year classes had assembled.
Just then, buses drove over, and classes began to board and depart one by one.
Rhine and the others stood on their tiptoes, constantly peering into the distance, discussing anxiously.
“Where’s the class leader? Why isn’t he here yet!”
“Other classes are already starting to leave.”
Just then, Elu shouted excitedly.
“He’s here!”
Rhine and the others all turned their heads to look, only to see Su Ming running towards them, out of breath.
Rhine and the others all breathed a sigh of relief and said to Su Ming as he ran over.
“Class leader, you’re finally here.”
“Sorry, I was delayed!”
Su Ming replied apologetically.
“Alright, stop talking, hurry and get on the bus.”
Mia, seeing that Su Ming had arrived, didn’t waste any words and directly waved her hand, issuing the command.
“Alright!”
Su Ming immediately led his classmates, following Mia to board the bus in an orderly fashion.
Soon, everyone was on the bus, and the bus closed its doors and drove towards the Royal Court Academy’s Interstellar Airport.
Along the way, Mia looked worried.
Rhine and the others, however, were very excited, discussing animatedly.
“Finally, it’s time for practical training.”
“Yeah!”
“Teacher, which Neutral Country are we going to this time!”
“We are heading to the Abek Neutral Country, which is located between the Neutral Zone and the Old Galaxy, specifically in front of Black Flame Star.”
Mia sighed and said.
“Ah? How long has it been? Has the Imperial Army already reached the Abek Neutral Country? Doesn’t that mean they’re very close to us?”
Zhang Yi asked in confusion.
“Who cares? This time we can go fight the Imperial Army and beat them up severely!”
Rhine shouted excitedly.
“Fight them? Who told you we’re going to fight the Imperial Army? With your meager abilities, you want to fight the Imperial Army? You’d be wiped out in minutes! Do you really think war is a game?”
“If we’re not fighting the Imperial Army, what are we doing?”
“Of course, it’s for you to help transport supplies and escort personnel in relatively safe areas. But even so, I’m still worried that something might happen.”
Mia scolded them angrily.
“Ugh, how boring!”
Upon hearing Mia’s words, Rhine and the others deflated like punctured balloons.
“Boring, my foot! Do you think this is playing house?!”
Mia directly reached out and gave Rhine a hard knock on the head.
“Ouch!”
Rhine clutched his head in pain.
“All of you listen carefully. This is practical training, not a virtual competition. People might die. You must pay special attention to safety. If you encounter an emergency, ask your class leader and me for help immediately.”
Mia angrily lectured everyone.
“Teacher, didn’t you say we’d be in a safe area? Why are you so worried?”
Angie asked, somewhat confused.
“Heh heh, safe? There’s no such thing as absolute safety in this world. Although the Imperial Army hasn’t reached there yet, there’s no guarantee that a surprise attack team won’t break through, or that you won’t run into alien monsters like Kirami and the Mechanical Clan. And what you need to be most careful of are the people of the Abek Neutral Country.”
Mia said coldly to everyone.
“Be careful of them?”
Zhang Yi’s mind didn’t quite process it for a moment.
“Teacher Mia is right. What we need to be most careful of are the people of the Abek Neutral Country. Don’t forget what we’re going there to do?”
Su Ming said calmly.
“Transfer supplies, evacuate personnel.”
Zhang Yi thought for a moment and replied.
“Let’s think from another perspective. I’m about to get beaten up, and then you don’t help me, but you also take away my supplies and personnel. What do you think my mood would be, and what would I do?”
Su Ming rationally asked Rhine and the others.
Rhine and the others swallowed their saliva, then spoke.
“Angry, very angry. We would definitely try every means to obstruct you, not letting you take away supplies and personnel. Ideally, we’d drag you down with us.”
“Not too foolish after all.”
Mia sighed, rubbing her temples.
After hearing Mia’s words, Rhine and the others exchanged glances. The car suddenly fell silent, and no one spoke.
“Alright, you don’t need to worry too much. Just be a little careful, and the risks are still controllable. After all, we’re not sending you to the most dangerous areas.”
Mia rubbed her temples, breaking the silence.
“Teacher, do you mean there are more dangerous areas in this operation?”
Su Ming asked with some interest.
“Of course there are. Countries in the Neutral Star Sea could fall at any time. But that’s where the older students go; it has nothing to do with you. After all, you don’t have combat experience yet, so it’s impossible to send you to such dangerous areas. You just need to do your work well in the rear. This practical training will not only give you experience, but if you do well, you’ll also get academic credits and rewards.”
Mia briefly explained to everyone.
“Alright.”
Su Ming and the others nodded in response.
A moment later, buses drove orderly into the Royal Court Academy’s Interstellar Airport.
Royal Court Order soldiers, clad in exoskeletons, waved glowing command wands, directing the buses to different lanes.
Rhine and the others all crowded to the windows, looking at the Interstellar Airport before them, shouting excitedly.
“Wow, this Interstellar Airport is so big!”
“Look, there are so many warships docked over there.”
“Let me count, one, two…”
“Can you all please show some maturity? Don’t act like you’ve never seen the world before.”
Mia said, yawning.
“Teacher, are all the warships here participating in this operation?”
Elu asked curiously.
