Chapter Index

Su Ming surveyed the cockpit, unsure how to arrange things.

However, An Ruoxue chuckled and said,

“I have a way, watch me.”

After An Ruoxue finished speaking, she walked directly to Su Ming’s left side, squatted down, and lay on his lap.

Immediately, Su Ming’s thigh trembled slightly, and his whole body felt like it had been electrocuted, with an inexplicable strange sensation.

Lin Chuyu was also stunned when she saw this scene.

    “Come quickly!”

An Ruoxue called out to Lin Chuyu with a laugh.

Lin Chuyu’s expression immediately became a little unnatural, but she still walked to Su Ming’s right side, squatted down like An Ruoxue, and shyly lay on Su Ming’s lap.

However, after the two of them had settled, Su Ming remained silent for a long time.

    “Su Ming?”

Lin Chuyu looked up and called out in confusion.

    “Cough, what’s wrong?”

Su Ming replied, coming back to his senses.

“We’re ready, you can close the cockpit now.”

    Lin Chuyu then reminded him.

    “Okay, let’s go.”

Su Ming responded awkwardly, then closed the cockpit, controlling the Iron Guard Mech to walk out while checking its weapon configuration.

The Iron Guard Mech had very few optional weapons, only two types: a GD-01 Beam Rifle with two magazines, and an Alloy Blade; there was nothing else. The only good thing was that the fuel rod was full.

Soon, Su Ming controlled the Iron Guard Mech and walked out of the building.

However, the moment he emerged, the scanning device immediately displayed numerous gray light dots.

All of these gray light dots were Iron Guards.

    “So many enemies?”

Lin Chuyu was also very surprised, not expecting so many students from other academies in this city.

Just then, the scanning device showed that the enemies seemed to have discovered them, and they were all moving towards his direction.

“They’re surrounding us. We can’t stay here; we need to leave quickly. Hold on tight, it might be a bit bumpy!”

Su Ming decisively made a decision, controlling the Iron Guard Mech to fly low and fast towards the city’s outskirts.

Lin Chuyu and An Ruoxue tried their best to squat still, but the Mech’s movements were still quite large when avoiding buildings, so they could only cling tightly to Su Ming’s thighs.

Although they were both wearing exoskeleton armor, they still felt a bit unnatural.

However, Su Ming was fully engrossed in the operation, completely ignoring other matters.

Lin Chuyu looked at Su Ming’s serious expression, and for a moment, her mind wandered.

Soon, Su Ming controlled the Iron Guard Mech to shake off the pursuers, then accelerated and sprinted straight out of the city.

Not long after, Su Ming flew low to the city’s edge and said to the two of them,

“A little further ahead, and we can get out of the city. We should be safe then.”

    “Mm.”

Lin Chuyu and the other nodded in response.

Su Ming then sped up, charging straight out of Mox City.

However, the moment he rushed out, he was stunned.

On the barren land outside the city stood a Gun Knight and twenty Flame Riders.

He quickly pulled the control stick, forcing the Mech to come to an extreme halt.

At this moment, the twenty Flame Riders and the Gun Knight on his front right all turned their heads to look at Su Ming.

“It’s over, what’s going on? How did we run into so many Mechs, and the scanning device didn’t even show them?”

Su Ming glanced at the scanning device and murmured in surprise.

Even with his excellent operating skills, he couldn’t possibly defeat so many Mechs, not to mention there was a Third Generation Mecha·Gun Knight among them.

“Su Ming, look closely at the Mech in the middle. It seems to have a shielding device on its back.”

Lin Chuyu whispered a reminder to Su Ming.

“No wonder the scanning device didn’t detect them.”

Su Ming glanced at it and replied with a bitter smile.

At this moment, a clear female voice suddenly came from the leading Gun Knight, questioning Su Ming.

“Who are you? Which academy are you from?”

Su Ming was at a loss for a moment. He definitely couldn’t say he was from Royal Court Academy, so he could only claim to be from one of the other two academies.

But he couldn’t tell which academy these people were from right now. If he claimed to be from their academy, he would be exposed.

Just then, Lin Chuyu lowered her voice and said to Su Ming,

“Su Ming, it seems everyone in the city is from Azure Sky Academy. They might also be from Azure Sky Academy. How about we say we’re from Amonsk Academy?”

At this moment, a more impetuous girl controlling a Flame Rider said impatiently,

“Hurry up and speak! Didn’t you hear Eyin sister asking you a question?”

Su Ming’s eyes flickered as he quickly analyzed and guessed. The proportion of girls in this team seemed high, and the Mech models were different from those in the city, so they might be two different groups of people.

He felt that these people were not from Azure Sky Academy, but from Amonsk Academy, so he opened his communicator and replied,

    “I’m from Azure Sky Academy.”

“Sister, he’s from Azure Sky Academy.”

The Flame Rider said to Eyin with some surprise.

    “Mm, what’s your name?”

    Eyin then continued to ask.

For a moment, Su Ming and the two others were stunned. Who knew what name to give? They couldn’t just make one up, could they?

“My sister is asking you a question! Are you mute?”

The Flame Rider also asked impatiently.

“Uh, my name is Cao Ran.”

    Su Ming immediately replied.

Lin Chuyu and An Ruoxue also looked at Su Ming in confusion.

    “Lan Yue, let’s go!”

Eyin said nothing after hearing this, turned her Mech, and led the team away.

    “Phew~”

Lin Chuyu and An Ruoxue breathed a sigh of relief when the other party left. It seemed Su Ming had guessed correctly.

However, at this moment, Su Ming suddenly controlled the Iron Guard Mech and directly followed Eyin and the others.

    “Su Ming, you…?”

An Ruoxue looked at Su Ming in surprise.

“Follow them. It’s obvious they’re going to the Tyboken Main Base City. It’s too difficult for us to break in by ourselves.”

Su Ming’s eyes flickered, and he explained in a low voice.

In fact, he was taking a gamble. Since these Amonsk Academy students didn’t attack him, perhaps he could follow them.

At this moment, Lan Yue and the others also noticed Su Ming following them, so they said in the communication channel,

“Sister, that Cao Ran from Azure Sky Academy has been following us.”

Upon hearing this, Eyin also controlled her Mech to turn around, lowered the beam cannon on her shoulder, and locked onto Su Ming, warning him,

“Stop, you’re not allowed to follow us.”

“Hehe, just let me follow you. I can’t survive alone if I’m separated.”

Su Ming also went all out, directly playing the victim.

“That has nothing to do with us. Just don’t follow us.”

After warning him, Eyin turned around and continued to lead the team forward.

Su Ming, meanwhile, controlled the Iron Guard Mech, sticking to them like a persistent plaster, following from a distance.

“Big sister, that guy is really thick-skinned. He’s still following us.”

    Lan Yue said to Eyin.

    “I know. Ignore him.”

    Eyin replied indifferently.

Not long after, as Su Ming followed Eyin’s team over a raised hillside, the sight before him made his pupils contract.
