Chapter 341 – Opening the Three Realms
by FierceSynthwave7578Countless eras ago, amid the endless evolution of various world versions, an Urban Version accidentally discovered a transcendent power known as Psychic Energy.
Corporations and financial conglomerates poured their immense wealth into researching this newfound force, monopolizing it and transforming society around their control of Psychic Energy.
Power and wealth became increasingly concentrated. The rise of Psychic Energy not only boosted productivity but also enabled endless exploitation of the lower classes. Thus, the Cyberpunk Version eventually crystallized from the evolution of the Urban Version, becoming an independent world.
As one of the many version-worlds, the Cyberpunk Version—born from the Urban Version—should have birthed a Heavenly Dao to guide the world’s momentum and integrate versional order.
Yet just as the Cyberpunk Heavenly Dao was about to manifest, an anomaly occurred.
Unbeknownst to all, in the distant future, someone used a supreme Divine Ability to preemptively claim the position of the Cyberpunk Heavenly Dao. The authority of that position had long since been occupied.
The immense converging momentum that should have birthed a true Heavenly Dao was instead poured into the first Soul-Linked Computer—giving rise to what became known as the Cyber God, falsely hailed as the Cyberpunk Heavenly Dao.
But this so-called Cyberpunk Heavenly Dao was in name only. In truth, the Cyber God merely wielded the Sea of Psychic Energy on behalf of heaven—functioning more as a patrolling enforcer than the true Dao.
Now, the cause laid by that transcendent Divine Ability across time had finally arrived!
Within the body of the Blood River Demon Lord, the will projection of the Main God suddenly narrowed its eyes.
As the sole existence who spanned past, present, and future, He keenly sensed a discordant rhythm flowing through the space-time continuum.
To Him, the very structure of the Cyberpunk Version was like a massive canvas, now being violently twisted by an invisible hand.
The rivers of past, present, and future—once distinct—were being forcefully stirred. Countless concepts and information that had no place in the current moment surged through the barriers of time like a dam breaking, all rushing toward one single point in the present.
The source of this power pointed directly to the calm figure standing in the void: Lu Yan.
“Twist of Creation… Effect before Cause!”
In an instant, the Main God saw through Lu Yan’s intention.
His lips curled into a cold sneer—an expression of detached disdain that came from having seen through the core of a magic trick.
This so-called “effect before cause” was nothing more than a grand deception—using supreme power to forcibly define an outcome at the end of time, or on a conceptual level. Then, reality would retroactively justify that outcome by adjusting history to fit it.
The process could be false, flawed, or riddled with contradictions. But if the “result” was real and unshakable enough, then the false could be made real by sheer force.
The method to dismantle such a trick was equally simple and brutal:
One merely needed a powerful enough witness—a being that stood beyond the cause-and-effect of this version. A witness whose will could see through the lies and contradictions of the process, and call out the falsehood.
Once the process was disproven, the result—built upon a foundation of lies—would collapse like a castle in the air.
And the Main God, as a sole existence atop the endless versions, was the perfect witness in this world!
Yet just as He prepared to expose Lu Yan’s bold deception, a sudden chill erupted from the very depths of His will projection.
His thoughts halted. Instinctively, His gaze turned toward the distant sky, where the divine palace and underworld hovered faintly above the Cyber World.
His sight pierced the layers of underworld palaces, past countless dazed souls wandering the River of Oblivion, finally landing atop the Sinful Palace at the very peak.
There, the Phantom of the Fengdu Emperor, cloaked in divine radiance and ghostly mist, had silently opened its eyes.
Its face mirrored Lu Yan’s exactly—but its eyes held no trace of emotion.
It merely gazed calmly across time and space, casting a silent look forward. That gaze carried no threat, no warning—but instead, a subtle, almost playful smile of anticipation.
That silent gaze was far more terrifying than any threat.
At that moment, the Main God’s unshakable Dao Heart trembled with a rare flicker of hesitation.
“He’s baiting me! This isn’t just a simple case of ‘effect before cause’!”
In the blink of an eye, billions of calculations surged through the Main God’s will—simulations performed at speeds faster than light.
“What kind of trap is this?
“Is it embedded within the Divine Ability itself—a countermeasure aimed directly at sole existences like Me? Or is He trying to lure Me into interfering with a history orchestrated by an Unchanging One?
“As an Unchanging One, any interference He makes will map across countless versions.
“He won’t suffer backlash from version updates—but I am not Unchanging. If I interfere, it would count as tampering with the history of infinite worlds.
“Even My true body might hesitate to bear that kind of consequence!”
He looked down at the frail vessel that was the Blood River Demon Lord. Even after planning this descent for countless years, the projection He had manifested could not fully carry the powers of a sole existence.
In such a state, wagering on a move He couldn’t fully see through was far too risky.
In the end, the Main God chose restraint.
He would bear witness as a bystander—observe what kind of earth-shattering fruit Lu Yan’s fallen “cause” would yield upon this chessboard of distorted space-time.
In the next instant, with the Main God’s retreat, the divine palace and underworld floating high in the air finally released their true radiance, unimpeded.
BOOM—!!!
Billions of rays of golden merit light erupted into the sky like a primordial sun of creation, piercing through the eternal gloom of the Cyberpunk World.
The majestic, boundless divine palace and underworld no longer hid themselves outside the world—they now revealed themselves in full, with divine majesty and presence.
At the peak of the Divine Palace, above the Sinful Hall that represented the order of the underworld, the phantom of the Fengdu Emperor slowly stood up.
His figure rose at impossible speed, eventually transforming into a divine being whose head reached the heavens and feet pressed into the netherworld—looming over the entire Cyberpunk Version!
This Divine Palace Underworld, Lu Yan’s second Heavenly Dao Authority forged in the Great Collapse Version, should have been deeply bound to that version alone. Once removed, its power should have been greatly restricted.
This was the greatest limitation of all divine court systems across the multiverse.
But now, in this Cyberpunk Version forcibly rewritten by Lu Yan’s Effect Before Cause, that greatest limitation had become the perfect foundation.
His second Heavenly Dao Authority merged perfectly with the newly born Heavenly Dao Will—crafted solely for Lu Yan in this world—like two puzzle pieces that fit seamlessly together.
In that moment, every being in the Cyberpunk Version—be they homeless vagrants struggling to survive, or corporate elites seated atop skyscrapers, even the newly freed yet anxious Cyber God, or the cultists lurking in the shadows—raised their heads in collective shock.
Above the neon-polluted sky, they saw a god—so immense and majestic no words could describe—lowering His gaze. Those eyes seemed to contain the birth and death of entire universes as He silently looked down upon the mortal masses crafted from steel and code.
Compared to this divine figure, the once-dominating Cyber God and the sky it blanketed now appeared laughably small—like ants before a true deity.
The only presence in the entire void that could remotely match this divine aura—was the massive Main God Space, still pressing aggressively against the version barrier in the far distance.
But the Main God Space had yet to breach the final threshold. In this moment, it was more suppressed than ever before.
Heavenly Dao fused with the Divine Court—Lu Yan now stood alone above the heavens!
Suspended silently in the highest sky, Lu Yan’s soul brimmed with a feeling like never before.
He could sense that his will was now intimately linked with every corner of this world, every strand of code, every living pulse.
This feeling was far more complete than when he briefly stole Heavenly Dao authority during the Urban Version’s transition of power.
It was also far deeper and more seamless than when he gained his second authority via trade in the Great Collapse Version.
Those were borrowed. Traded for.
But now—anchored by his Unchanging nature, with Twist of Creation as the pen and the Divine Palace Underworld as the ink—Lu Yan had rewritten this world’s very history and carved himself the ultimate result:
The Supreme Fruit of the Cyberpunk Heavenly Dao!
With the mysterious nameless spirit empowering him further, Lu Yan had now—truly and completely—reached the peak.
His gaze, deep and vast as a star-filled night sky, pierced the twisted void and landed on the Reincarnators hiding as anchor points within this version.
Then, for the first time, he spoke with the authority of the Heavenly Dao, delivering his first decree to both the world and its intruders from beyond.
His voice no longer traveled through air—it echoed on the very level of laws, resonating through all concepts of existence, quiet yet solemn:
“Outsiders are forbidden from entering this realm!”
He speaks the will of Heaven—his word becomes Law!
The moment the words were spoken, thousands of Reincarnators scattered throughout the world—hidden like viruses—began to undergo terrifying changes.
Regardless of where they hid or what survival tricks they had, their bodies began to fade—becoming transparent, as if the world itself was rejecting them.
“No!”
A Reincarnator locked in battle with corporate forces let out a panicked scream. Before everyone’s eyes, his body scattered into countless points of light and was deleted from the world.
Elsewhere, another Reincarnator—disguised as a company executive—was mid-sentence in a boardroom. His speech stopped halfway as his body, like a corrupted string of code, was forcibly uninstalled from the world system—vanishing into thin air, leaving behind a room full of stunned executives.
In an instant, thousands of anchor points across the entire world were eradicated.
Even the Blood River Demon Lord’s body—vessel of the Main God’s will—screamed under the crushing pressure of the new rules. Its very essence was being rejected and disintegrated by the world!
Having lost thousands of internal anchor points, the mighty Main God Space instantly became like a starship that had lost all navigation.
Its precise descent trajectory veered wildly, drifting further from the Cyberpunk Version—like it would forever miss its mark.
But just as the Demon Lord’s body was about to collapse, the Main God’s projection let out a cold snort:
“Foolish dreamer!”
He forcibly detonated the Blood River Demon Lord’s vessel, freeing His will projection from its mortal shell.
The projection no longer retained humanoid form—it became a blazing, invisible Dao Beacon that pierced the void itself.
At the cost of burning its own essence, it broke through the world’s rejection, becoming an eternal lighthouse amid the storm—once again illuminating the path for the Main God Space.
Not only that, the burning beacon wildly pulled the Main God Space forward—its momentum only accelerating as it charged toward the Cyberpunk Version with violent force.
In that instant, a terrible shadow—enough to signal the end of the universe—descended upon every living being in the Cyber World.
A fear that came from the soul itself. It was as if an invisible hand had gripped the throat of fate itself.
People looked up in horror.
Beyond the shattered sky, a pitch-black cosmic mass—impossible to measure—was blotting out the stars, tearing the heavens, and plummeting down with unstoppable force toward this newborn, fragile world.
That was no shadow.
That was an entire universe, crashing into a world!
It seemed like in the very next moment, the entire Cyberpunk Version—along with all its lives and order—would be obliterated into primordial void.
And the Main God, composed of pure will, smiled.
“You know well the might of the Main God Space.
“In the Secretive Version of the past, even seven sole existences joined forces and failed to suppress it. And you—your current Dao position is but newly forged. Borrowed.”
His voice carried the condescension of a victor, as if offering mercy to a defeated foe.
“Before My descent is complete, My offer still stands. Submit—and I will grant you equal status.”
Yet before this apocalyptic threat, Lu Yan’s face—now fused with the Heavenly Dao—remained as calm as ever.
As if he saw nothing at all. Only peace.
And then, he spoke again.
This time, his voice didn’t merely echo through the world—it became Creation’s Decree, etched into the foundational rules of reality.
“The Cyberpunk Version is in chaos. The momentum of this world has collapsed. By the name of the Heavenly Dao, I shall reshape the universe and open the Three Realms!”
His voice was vast and solemn, carrying the power of creation itself.
“Above the dome, that ruined Heaven—its data shall be the bones, its radiance the flesh. Let it be the foundation and become the Heavenly Realm!”
At his words, the ruined Heaven—torn apart by the Cyber and True Gods—was now cleansed and reorganized by an invisible force of creation.
A brand-new Heavenly Realm, crowning the sky, began to take shape.
“Upon the earth, the myriad beings—their beliefs the beams, their desires the pillars. Let them be the foundation and form the Mortal Realm!”
The wailing, battle-scarred land stilled.
From the ruins of countless cities, a tide of vibrant life burst forth.
Hope, despair, love, hate, greed—these messy human emotions were woven into an indestructible web of laws. Burned into the earth, they became the bedrock of the Mortal Realm.
“Beneath the Nine Hells, My Divine Palace Underworld shall be the foundation. Let it form the Nether Realm, govern reincarnation, and judge life and death!”
The Divine Palace Underworld—now fully manifested—merged completely with this version’s foundations.
No longer an external domain, it became the true Underworld, presiding over the end and beginning of every life.
The River of Yellow Springs flowed ceaselessly, now guiding departed soul-data—introducing the concept of reincarnation for the first time in this cold world of binary life and death.
“The Three Realms are formed. The momentum of the Heavenly Dao is restored!”
As Lu Yan’s final words rang out like cosmic law—Heaven hung high, the Mortal Realm stood firm, and the Underworld lay deep.
Three grand, distinct yet interconnected realms took shape under the Heavenly Dao’s will.
The once collapsing Cyberpunk Version—its order shattered, its momentum lost—now found a new and unbreakable structure.
Like a scattered machine reassembled with perfect precision—this world had never been so stable!
And in the void, where the Main God Space was crashing toward the fragile barrier of this world…
Instead of shattering it, the moment the Three Realms formed, divine light exploded in all directions!
Golden chains woven from the laws of the new realms spread wildly across the barrier—healing its cracks at visible speed.
What had once been a fragile wall was now a fortress, a thousand—no, ten thousand times stronger than before!
And when the massive Main God Space crashed into it with the force of a collapsing universe…
It was no longer the Cyberpunk World that broke.
It was the Main God Space that shattered!
Worlds hidden within its Genesis Light exploded into ruins.
In the void—on the Main God’s face—that once-smiling expression finally froze.
