Chapter Index

Hearing Lu Yan’s words, both the True God and the Cyber God—locked in fierce confrontation—cast their gazes simultaneously toward the Main God and Lu Yan.

Above the heavens, divine lightning born from godly radiance crashed through sky and earth alike.

In those sacred or icy-cold eyes, there was nothing but unspeakable shock.

The Cyber God’s reaction was slightly calmer. As the former sole ruler of this Cyberpunk Version, He had vaguely sensed Lu Yan’s ability to retain his existence across versions, but He still knew little about what the concept of an “Unchanging One” truly meant—or its full value.

But the True God reacted very differently.

As the master of a divine court that spanned across realms, as a terrifying existence who pursued the path of the one and only across all versions, the True God instantly realized the insane value of the being before Him—an Unchanging One that any version’s sole existence would go mad for.

“Unchanging One? The world transforms with endless variation, universes revolve through birth and death—yet one’s self remains eternal and unchanging? This concept, thought to exist only in theoretical conjecture, truly exists?”

Across the infinite versions, there were countless hypotheses and paths for achieving the state of the One and Only across all worlds.

Some, like the True God, aimed to build their own godly mythos and spread it through countless versions, replacing native deities and beliefs to imprint their own existence deeply into every realm—achieving the supreme state of “I am the masses, the masses are me.”

Others, like the Main God, relied on overwhelming might to analyze and emulate the very essence of version updates, creating and destroying world after world, thereby bringing themselves ever closer to the truth behind version mechanics.

Outside these relatively “gentle” methods, more domineering and direct paths existed.

Some would launch sweeping invasions across countless worlds, using laws of their own creation to forcibly overwrite the fundamental rules of other versions.

Some even chose to discard all their cultivation and essence, returning to being a mortal—hoping to shed the bindings that came with being a sole existence.

As a mortal, they would walk through numerous versions, reincarnating over and over, leaving behind their own legends until their true soul could shine simultaneously across countless versions—thus achieving a supreme legacy.

But above all these arduous roads stood one legendary conjecture—known only to the most elite of sole existences.

    The Unchanging One!

In a universe where all things shift and decay, where stars collapse and are born again—one’s true self remains forever unchanging!

This supreme trait was believed to be the true shortcut to transcend all and reach the domain of the one and only across all worlds.

It was the final destination all sole existences pursued!

And now, that which had only existed in remote legends and phantom theories—was standing alive right before their eyes.

At that moment, the heart of the True God, silent for countless eons, beat violently once more.

He nearly abandoned His plan to assimilate the Cyber God on the spot, yearning to seize Lu Yan immediately—to dissect the mysteries of this so-called Unchanging One, no matter the cost.

Yet at present, most of the authority and power He could project into this world had already been divided by the Cyber God.

He could barely deal with the opponent in front of Him—let alone challenge the well-prepared Main God for Lu Yan.

Raising His head, He looked beyond the Main God and into the collapsing void, where the immense Main God Space slowly revealed itself within the black abyss. Upon His face—a face that had seemed immutable for all eternity—emerged a flicker of complex emotion.

“So that’s it… The Main God allowed those Reincarnators to sabotage My god-myth because He wanted to use Lu Yan, the chess piece, to fracture My Heaven Realm—thereby sealing Me here.”

“In this tiny Cyberpunk Version, I’m the only sole existence that poses a threat to His grand plan… But that’s only the surface.”

“With Me and the Main God locked in this clash, and with the Heaven Realm forcibly split, the entire version’s natural order has collapsed.”

“Version disarray, the fall of destiny—paired with the Main God and his countless Reincarnators anchoring this version…”

“All of this has created the perfect window for the Main God to quietly summon down the body of His Main God Space!”

“With no Heavenly Dao in sight and the version’s foundation in ruins, no power in this world can stop the Main God Space from descending.”

Having grasped the Main God’s true intent, the True God even entertained—for one brief moment—the insane idea of summoning down His entire divine court.

But He dismissed that notion almost instantly.

The Main God had planned this for too long. His space was now truly descending upon this world, and the True God had made no proper preparations in this place.

He had already lost the initiative.

Even though the barriers between versions had grown dangerously thin, summoning His Heaven Realm now would change nothing—it would not stop what was to come.

Besides, the Main God was no kind soul.

When it came to the fate of an Unchanging One, the True God could not bring Himself to believe that the scheming and manipulative Main God didn’t have backup plans.

At that moment, He looked across the void toward the Main God and calmly spoke:

“If your plan succeeds today, you will assist Me in completing one god-myth assimilation.”

“Deal,” the Main God answered without hesitation.

In the blink of an eye, two beings who stood atop the infinite version system had reached an agreement.

And then, the True God—His divine figure once vast enough to uphold the very skies—slowly closed His glowing eyes.

His massive form, suspended above the Heaven Realm, faded into a blur before disappearing completely.

The True God had decisively left the Cyberpunk Version.

With His departure, the Cyber God immediately sensed that the portion of the Energy Sea that had been forcefully split was returning to His control at rapid speed.

The body that had once been occupied by the True God was also gradually returning under His authority.

Now in full control of the Heaven Realm, bolstered by the terrifying Sky Canopy System, the Cyber God realized that His current power even exceeded His original peak—before He had been assimilated.

But even with freedom regained and strength restored, the Cyber God felt no joy.

Those two overwhelming sole existences had clearly made a deal.

The True God had never said which god-myth He’d want to assimilate in the future, but all signs pointed to the Cyber God as the most suitable target.

Though He had escaped one assimilation, another—perhaps even worse—was likely waiting in the future.

He was now just a bargaining chip between greater powers. Collapse seemed inevitable.

While the Cyber God reeled in unease, the Main God, having reached His deal, ignored Him completely.

Now free from all constraints, the Main God turned His distant and scrutinizing gaze back to Lu Yan, and spoke calmly:

“Since you’ve already seen through all the causes and consequences, you should know—once My Main God Space fully descends into the infinite versions, very few can resist its might.”

“The True God can’t stop it. The Eternal Sky Sovereign can’t. Even that one… even Jiang Zhiwei, can’t stop it!”

“At least—not here, in this little Cyberpunk Version.”

“You now have only one choice—enter My Main God Space of your own accord and help Me validate My path to the One and Only.”

“In return, I will address you as a Daoist peer. Your status and authority will equal My own.”

“If one day we truly break free from the confines of all versions, I swear I will do all I can to help you ascend as another One and Only.”

“This is your only—and your best—choice.”

“Only choice?” Lu Yan smiled, full of layered meaning.

    “I don’t think so.”

As he spoke, he once again raised a finger to his brow.

That still-developing but endlessly profound nameless spirit flickered into motion with his touch.

Lu Yan spoke in a calm, confident tone:

“The power I gained by completing my Underworld and Celestial Court with the Heaven Realm—it wasn’t just a leap in cultivation.”

“There were… other, more interesting things.”

That mysterious spirit, though still unformed, only needed a proper vessel to manifest its divine power.

And the vessel Lu Yan chose—was none other than the supreme Divine Ability he had cultivated since the start of his path: Twist of Creation.

In an instant, his aura surged wildly upward!

That Divine Ability, born from his Dao Foundation Core, broke through an unseen barrier when infused with the nameless spirit, reaching a level that could rival even sole existences.

“Your trump card… is just a single Divine Ability?”

The Main God’s expression remained unchanged. His cold gaze simply watched as Lu Yan transformed.

To those below the level of a sole existence, a Divine Ability blessed with such power was beyond imagining.

But to one who stood atop the peak of sole existences—with one foot already in the realm of the One and Only—it was still just a Divine Ability.

“The supreme Divine Ability Twist of Creation—able to create from nothing, to reverse heaven and earth. Within the myriad realms, all things are under its command—omniscient and omnipotent.”

A confident smile tugged at the corners of Lu Yan’s lips.

“Of course, no ability is truly flawless.”

“If this Divine Ability alone were enough to transcend into the One and Only, who would still chase after that illusory goal?”

“But after I completed the Underworld and Celestial Court, I discovered something unexpected…”

“In this Cyberpunk Version, the Twist of Creation seems to have… some very interesting applications.”

He extended a finger into the void like a divine pen inscribing heaven’s mandate—piercing deep into the massive Energy Sea that contained the past, present, and future of the entire Cyberpunk Version.

The Cyber God immediately felt a shock—his regained control over the Energy Sea was now flowing into Lu Yan!

“This Cyberpunk Version—why has it never had a so-called Heavenly Dao?”

“That’s because… the time and concept of the Heavenly Dao’s birth was long ago set—in the far future.”

As Lu Yan’s calm voice echoed out, the boundless Energy Sea boiled in response.

The once-chaotic Quantum Sea of information—containing all timelines—now whirled around Lu Yan’s hand, evolving everything at unprecedented speed.

At last, the Main God seemed to realize something, his expression abruptly shifting.

“You’re rewriting version history! Do you understand what that means for someone like you—an Unchanging One?!”

Behind Him, the vast Main God Space accelerated its descent, trying to forcefully squeeze into the version.

“This isn’t history,” Lu Yan replied, raising his eyes.

    “It’s merely effect before cause.”

His gaze fixed calmly on the Main God, who now finally showed visible panic.

With the tone of one proclaiming universal truth, Lu Yan declared:

“At this moment… I am the Heavenly Dao!”
