Chapter Index

“It’ll only be complete after the next version update.”

Lu Yan murmured in a voice only he could hear.

Only when the next version update was initiated would the influence of the Divine Court and Underworld truly be reflected across the infinite versions. He was just one step away from achieving his final goal.

“But for now, this should be enough.”

As he spoke, Lu Yan slowly lifted his head. His gaze pierced through layers upon layers of shattered void, reaching toward the upper realm of the once holy but now devastated Heaven.

There, the void was collapsing and twisting in unimaginable ways. The profound and mysterious laws that once upheld the world’s stability were rapidly dissolving before the naked eye.

Eventually, a boundless and awe-inspiring domain revealed itself before Lu Yan—a vast and endless ocean.

Countless streams of pure spiritual energy flowed freely through it, forming enormous energy vortices. These connected to countless thick energy channels.

These channels, like tree roots, spread densely throughout the entire ocean, linking to every corner of the cyberpunk world—clearly the source and destination of all its energy.

Lu Yan understood very well. This endless sea of energy was the foundational bedrock for all supernatural power in the cyberpunk version—the origin of everything.

    The Sea of Psionic Energy.

The authority over this sea had been firmly held for centuries by the Artificial God born from cold machines.

It was precisely by relying on this inexhaustible sea that the Artificial God had escaped the constraints of its original soul-calculating core and evolved step-by-step into a terrifying existence akin to divinity.

However, with the arrival of the even stronger Real God—and His unstoppable assimilation process—the Real God had also seized part of the Sea’s authority.

Using it as a foundation, the Real God invested tremendous divine power and resources to construct the vast Celestial Canopy System, capable of monitoring and covering the entire cyberpunk world.

But now, with the Artificial God temporarily free from assimilation thanks to Lu Yan’s machinations, the once unified sea had been forcibly split in two by an unseen force.

One part transformed into a quantum ocean made of infinite streams of data and information—containing the past and potential futures of the entire cyberpunk version.

This portion clearly fell under the domain of the Artificial God.

The other half retained its semi-physical state, surging with primal vitality, where countless soul-lights shimmered faintly—representing the birth and death of all living beings.

This half was undeniably under the control of the Real God, who wielded the authority of Heaven and relied on faith and souls as His foundation.

Two gods of unimaginable strength now faced each other across the divided Sea of Psionic Energy, engaging in a final, cataclysmic battle.

Every clash of will and divine power between them shook the foundations of the cyberpunk version itself, threatening to bring the entire world crumbling down.

Just as Lu Yan finished absorbing the feedback from the Divine Court and Underworld’s ascension, his cultivation breaking through to the mid-stage of Spirit Severing Realm…

The temporarily liberated Artificial God wasted no time and spoke urgently:

“Lu Yan! You’ve already gotten what you wanted—now help me expel the Real God once and for all.

You must understand: as long as He remains, He could reclaim the part of Heaven you absorbed. Everything we’ve built could fall into His hands.

Surely you don’t want to see that happen?”

At the same time, from the other side of the Sea—bathed in holy light and power of faith—the Real God descended His majestic gaze.

A voice, vast and divine, rang through the heavens like an edict:

“You too, are a master of a Divine Court—one who pursues the supreme path as we do.

You should know, I seek not merely this defective incarnation nor this shattered Heaven.

What I seek… is the supreme path of Transcendence, the one that proves oneself as this world’s sole existence.”

“If you choose not to interfere in this battle between Me and that inferior intelligence…

Then once My assimilation is complete, I will offer this entire Heaven—along with all its faith and souls—as a gift to forge goodwill between us.

My incarnation shall withdraw from the cyberpunk version, never to interfere again. What say you?”

But Lu Yan showed no interest in their promises or offers.

He didn’t even glance at the battling gods. Instead, his eyes turned toward a seemingly empty void beyond the ruined Heaven.

With a subtle, amused smile, he said aloud:

“Master God, since you’ve been watching for so long… why not reveal yourself now?”

The void suddenly rippled like water.

A familiar figure slowly emerged from the distortion—stepping into the wreckage of Heaven.

Dressed in a blood-red robe, surrounded by foul, nauseating aura, every motion exuded apocalyptic might.

    The Blood River Demon Lord—

But now fully possessed by the will of the Master God.

Gone was the respectful humility he once showed Lu Yan. In its place stood an aloof, merciless being that seemed to tower over all creation.

Lu Yan’s gaze fell on the figure, his eyes tinged with regret.

Clearly seeing the body was no longer the original Blood River Demon Lord’s will, he softly shook his head and sighed:

“Of course. Once one truly sets foot into that unfathomable Master God’s Space, all fate and karma become bound to the Master God’s whim.

Whether one lives or dies, rises or falls, it’s no longer in their own hands.”

“They were nothing but pitiful insects who should have died long ago,” said the possessed Demon Lord coldly.

“I granted them a second chance, a path to power.

Naturally, I can take it all back.”

Lu Yan raised an eyebrow at the cruel declaration, unbothered.

His gaze passed the blood-robed figure, landing on the chaotic cyberpunk world beyond—riven by the gods’ battle.

    Suddenly, he turned and asked:

“Master God, how long until your Master God Space descends into this version?”

For the first time, a ripple of change appeared in the Master God’s eternally cold expression.

From within the shadow of His crimson hood, His gaze turned profound and calculating.

Lu Yan ignored the shift and continued calmly:

“At first, when I discovered the relationship between the Real God and the native Artificial God, I instinctively assumed the Real God was the true mastermind behind this version.”

“But then… something made me question that conclusion.”

His eyes shimmered with meaning as he looked toward the Master God.

“That something… was the Sabotage the God Myth plan.”

“I secretly directed titled Reincarnators to carry out that mission—polluting and undermining the God Myth. My real goal was to pit you, the Master God, against the Real God, so I could profit from the fallout.”

“What surprised me, though, was how smoothly the plan unfolded.

So smoothly… I began to feel uneasy.”

“As the one who governs all Reincarnators, how could you not intervene at all?”

“Of course, I could make excuses for you. Maybe you wanted to sabotage the Real God too. Or maybe you were constrained somehow.

But none of these reasons fully convinced me.”

    “Because you’re the Master God.

The sole creator of the Master God’s Space, standing at the very peak of all power across the infinite versions—you’ve even touched the realm of this world’s sole existence!”

“Someone like you must have known what I was planning with that mission.

You must have realized that if it succeeded, I would gain an unimaginable amount of power!”

At this point, Lu Yan’s lips curled into a mocking smile.

“Unless… you stood to gain even more.”

“Otherwise, why would someone like you sit by and watch me—a wildcard—grow unchecked right under your nose?”

The Master God’s eyes, still hidden in shadows, flickered strangely.

He no longer attempted to hide anything.

Behind him, space collapsed—revealing a blurry, massive entity brimming with deathly silence.

A colossus of worlds and stars…

    Lu Yan recognized it instantly.

    The Master God’s Space.

A sight terrifying enough to make all living beings despair.

But Lu Yan remained calm. Composed. Unshaken.

As if even the descent of that monstrous power was nothing more than background scenery.

He spoke loudly, voice full of confidence:

“At first, I thought you just wanted to use the traces I left in this version as a way to let your Reincarnators invade safely—so they could leave their own marks and prove their path to the world’s sole existence.”

“But then I realized… that plan was too small.”

“Even if the Reincarnators left their marks here, it’d only prove their path across one version.

It’s nowhere near enough to walk the road of all worlds.”

“More importantly, without me—the Unchanging One—as a guide and anchor, you could never invade this version at all.”

“So your real ambition was never that.”

“You wanted to use the chaos of the cyberpunk version to capture and control me—the anomaly.

Then force me to enter the Master God’s Space as a Reincarnator.”

“To make me help you cross infinite versions.

    To etch your path…

To become this world’s only existence.
