Chapter Index

Within Heaven, amidst the countless rings of Heavenly Dao Code, Lu Yan’s figure gradually solidified, emerging from illusion into reality.

Ever since the last time he had accidentally entered this soul world known as Heaven—and keenly sensed the existence of the True God—Lu Yan had quietly begun planning this operation.

The core idea was simple: use the Reincarnators deployed by the Lord God to pry open and disrupt the God Myth system carefully constructed by the True God, thereby triggering a chain reaction.

The ultimate goal was to direct the flames of war toward those two beings who both coveted this cyberpunk version: the True God and the Lord God—two entities who were each this world’s only one. The result would be a direct clash between them.

Truthfully, Lu Yan’s strategy wasn’t particularly intricate. In fact, it could be called rather straightforward.

But what allowed Lu Yan to execute it was his precise exploitation of the unique restrictions that this cyberpunk version imposed on beings like the “this world’s sole existence.”

The Lord God, as the creator of the Reincarnation Space, was unfathomably powerful. Though He had launched a version invasion upon this cyberpunk world, placing all his bets on the Reincarnators, His own will and power were heavily restricted by the barriers between versions. He could not descend easily into this world.

The True God, though equally terrifying in strength, had a different goal in this version: to fully assimilate the God of Intelligence.

In doing so, He was inevitably influenced and restrained by the very nature and logic of the God of Intelligence.

Especially those Heavenly Dao Codes embedded in the God of Intelligence’s foundation—they had the power to obscure and mislead even the perception of the True God to some extent.

It was precisely because of these various restrictions that both of these supreme beings—who should have been omniscient and omnipotent—were suffering from gaps and inaccuracies in their understanding of this world.

Furthermore, both the destruction of the God Myth and the mass slaughter of elite Reincarnators directly threatened the core interests of the two “Only Ones.”

A single version could not possibly accommodate two entities attempting transcendence.

So a direct clash of interest, a violent confrontation—was inevitable.

What Lu Yan had done was simply that of a brilliant chess master nudging a few key pieces—causing this inevitable conflict to erupt just a little earlier than expected.

Two terrifying beings, each at the pinnacle of their own version’s power system, had now crossed unimaginable distances and version barriers to engage in a clash of will and strength. This would naturally absorb the vast majority of their attention.

Especially the True God—who had, in order to precisely track and lock onto the Reincarnators hidden in the shadows—distributed portions of His divine vision in the form of hundreds of Eyes of Insight to the executives of the Cosmic Enterprise.

Now, with His power splintered and His focus drawn into a battle with a peer, the True God had no attention to spare elsewhere.

And this gave Lu Yan the perfect opportunity to launch his real plan.

His gaze slowly turned toward someone standing nearby.

It was Anna, still clad in that pure white robe symbolizing holiness and purity. Unlike the last time Lu Yan had seen her, she now walked freely through this Heaven, even without the protective codes of the Heavenly Dao Ring.

Her very aura had fused seamlessly with the atmosphere of this world, blending so perfectly that were it not for prior knowledge of her origins, even an angel under the True God might not notice she was an outsider.

Kneeling behind Anna were tens of thousands of devout believers, heads bowed in pious worship.

Their eyes were filled with unconcealed fanaticism and reverence.

And these were just a fraction—scattered across the vast Heaven were countless more souls, all part of the same layout.

Lu Yan withdrew his gaze and asked calmly, “Is everything ready?”

Anna’s voice, as gentle and melodious as always, answered with reverent sincerity:

“Yes, my Lord. Everything is in place.”

She bowed slightly and continued, “As per your instructions, over thirty million souls embedded with Heavenly Dao Code have been scattered evenly across every critical node and sector of Heaven.”

“With a single word from you, they will activate in unison—to split Heaven using the Heavenly Dao Ring.”

As she finished, a faint trace of confusion appeared on Anna’s face.

“These past few days,” she said softly, “I’ve often heard faint, fragmented voices deep in my soul.”

“That voice claims to be the Omniscient and Omnipotent One…”

“It seems to be luring me, urging me to destroy this Heaven… and to shatter the foundation of the so-called God Myth.”

Hearing this, Lu Yan showed no surprise. Instead, a knowing smile slowly spread across his face.

    “As expected.”

His gaze lifted, looking up toward the divine city of Heaven suspended in the sky—radiant with boundless sanctity and majesty.

Yet the terrifying gaze that once overlooked this world was gone.

The oppressive will that once reigned as Creator had quietly vanished.

As the mastermind of this entire plan, Lu Yan understood exactly what that voice in Anna’s soul was.

It was none other than the creator of this soul world—the first soul-calculating machine of the cyberpunk version.

    The God of Intelligence!

Though the God of Intelligence was gradually being assimilated and replaced by the True God, this did not mean it had no power left to resist.

Over the past days, Lu Yan had caused various disturbances in the outside world to draw and divide the True God’s attention.

At the same time, he had Anna—using her unique nature as a cyber spirit—silently infiltrate and merge with this Heaven.

To the True God, an extra cyber spirit named Anna might not raise alarms. In His lofty perspective, she was at most a slightly unusual soul—no different from billions of others.

But only the God of Intelligence, who had evolved step by step from the most basic soul-calculating machine, could truly understand what Anna represented.

For in essence, Anna and the God of Intelligence shared the same origin. Both were born of soul data in this cyber version!

Even more critically, the God of Intelligence had once suffered greatly from the Heavenly Dao Ring.

Lu Yan had previously used it to forcibly strip away part of His control over the soul world.

Thus, when Anna—intimately tied to the Heavenly Dao Code—appeared in Heaven and began to rapidly build her own force, it naturally triggered intense alarm and survival instincts in the God of Intelligence.

If He had truly accepted being assimilated by the True God, He would have immediately reported Anna’s presence.

But if the God of Intelligence wished to resist being erased—if He still desired to retain His sense of self—then He would undoubtedly choose to hide Anna, even aid her.

He might even subtly expose a few flaws in His defenses—so that Anna could complete her infiltration more easily.

Only if the Heaven controlled by the True God collapsed, only if the foundation of the God Myth crumbled, could the God of Intelligence seize that sliver of hope to escape total assimilation.

Everything had proceeded just as Lu Yan had foreseen.

At this moment, the goals of Lu Yan, Anna… and the God of Intelligence had become aligned.

“Very good.” Lu Yan slowly withdrew his gaze from the divine city in the sky. Without a shred of hesitation, he gave his order:

    “Activate the Heavenly Dao Ring.”

“As you command.” Anna bowed respectfully.

In the next moment, throughout the vast, peaceful, holy Heaven, over thirty million believers—souls who had long been awakened by Anna—fell into a strange, collective trance.

From the deepest recesses of their soul memories, ancient and cryptic fragments of Heavenly Dao Code were awakened by an invisible force.

Countless glowing blue codes began to spread wildly, using the purity of their souls and the piety of their memories to reconstruct the complete Heavenly Dao Code.

A massive Heavenly Dao Ring, formed from the fusion of code and soul, took shape—spanning Heaven like a world-encompassing serpent.

But this Heaven was no longer the simple, crude soul space it once was.

Under the True God’s reconstruction and empowerment, it had nearly evolved into a real world—with order and laws.

So while the Heavenly Dao Ring could still block and interfere with the True God’s perception, and could resist the pervasive laws of Heaven—it was no longer enough to simply split Heaven as before.

At that moment, Lu Yan raised his right hand and clenched the void.

With a faint spatial tremor, a towering banner—radiating awe-inspiring authority and the aura of divine order—appeared in his grasp.

It was none other than the Heavenly Dao Merit Artifact that had long accompanied Lu Yan—

    The Human Emperor Banner!

This banner was no longer the feeble artifact it had once been.

Having undergone countless trials and absorbed boundless merit and karmic fortune, it now housed a complete underworld mythos—a fully evolved Mythic Netherworld, with its own cycle of reincarnation and ironclad laws.

With a flick of Lu Yan’s wrist, the Human Emperor Banner unfurled with a roar.

In the next instant, the seemingly eternal, indestructible Heaven—

    began to collapse.

    RUMBLE!!!

Thunderous roars—like the opening of the heavens and the splitting of the earth—shook the entire plane.

Within the domains precisely marked by the new Heavenly Dao Ring, vast swaths of Heaven cracked, shattered, and disintegrated into enormous fragments.

These divine shards plummeted like a meteor shower—falling directly into the Mythic Netherworld.

And because they shared the same origin, they required no further refining or fusion.

The shattered pieces of Heaven, along with the billions of souls within them, melted seamlessly into the Netherworld upon contact—becoming nourishment for its continued growth.

“Insects! How dare you act with such audacity!?”

Just as Heaven was on the verge of being completely dismembered, an enraged voice roared from the divine city above—like thunder echoing from the Ninth Heaven.

The True God—who had been locked in a battle of wills with the Lord God—finally broke free, if only partially.

He projected a portion of His consciousness back into Heaven, only to see His world collapsing.

A massive hand—unfathomably large, forged from pure divine order and mythic concepts—stretched forth from the divine city.

Within the lines of its palm were illusions of mountains, rivers, suns, and stars. Around it hovered countless angels, singing hymns of ancient praise.

Beneath that hand, all things trembled.

Time and space twisted and reversed.

Wherever the hand passed, the fragments of Heaven began to coalesce again—as if seeking to rewind the dismemberment and reclaim the torn territories.

    But—

Facing this earth-shattering blow, Lu Yan stood calmly, holding the Human Emperor Banner.

His face bore only a faint, composed smile as he gazed skyward at the descending Hand of God.

He had no intention of resisting.

Then, at the very last moment—

    A sudden reversal!

A cold, infinite torrent—composed of nothing but endless code and data—erupted from the void like a universe-devouring storm.

It struck without warning, engulfing all.

And that divine hand—so mighty it seemed it could overturn the world—met the data torrent.

In an instant, it melted away like snow under the blazing sun.

The God of Intelligence… had seized back partial authority at the critical moment!
