Hylial walked down the quiet corridor and found the room marked No. 3, which had the florid name ‘Florella’ written on its door.

She gently knocked on the door, and soon the door opened, revealing the familiar elf with wavy golden hair standing before the girl.

“Welcome, Hylial.” The other party was still wearing an intricate long dress with flower-patterned sleeves, her pink eyes filled with joy. She led Hylial into the room.

The entire room was like a blooming sea of pink and white flowers; various shades of pure white, light pink, and cherry blossoms adorned the room, making it feel as if one had stepped into a floral bower.

Florella gestured for Hylial to sit on the soft cloth sofa, then poured her tea from a flower-and-bird porcelain teapot and placed it in front of her.

“Did Lia cultivate these flowers herself? They’re so beautiful~” She held the Fire Cloud Orchid, Hylial’s return gift, her eyes filled with boundless joy.

“I cultivated it under my teacher’s guidance. It’s called ‘Fire Cloud Orchid’ and it can release scorching essence.” Hylial introduced the key cultivation points and experiences of the Fire Cloud Orchid to her.

“Thank you, Lia, I’ve noted it down and will take good care of this child.” Florella nodded seriously.

Afterward, Florella led Hylial around her room, introducing all the various flowers and potted plants arranged within, much like walking through a botanical garden.

“I’m sorry, I’ve planted too many flowers in my room, so it’s a bit crowded.” Although there were many blooming flowers, creating a complex beauty of layered blossoms, the overall feeling wasn’t overly crowded. Rather, this kind of beauty required a large number of flowers to adorn it; if there were too few, it would appear desolate.

“No, I think it’s very beautiful.” Hylial was not lying; this style indeed aligned perfectly with the beautiful elf before her.

Of all the people Hylial had met, this elf girl was probably the most beautiful, second only to her mother in her memories. In terms of temperament, Madame Faran might be more mature, while Florella had not yet fully blossomed.

“Really? Thank you for the compliment, Lia~” The other party clapped her hands together, responding happily.

The two then began to discuss their respective backgrounds, which was their true self-introduction, as their paper note exchange at lunch had been limited.

“Lia is from Regas, is she? I think I’ve heard of that place; it was established by Regard, the ‘Knight King’.” It was rare for someone in the Camel Tower to know about this small country.

“Actually, I wasn’t born on this continent, but in the Forest of Fragrant Winds on the Second Continent, where many elves live.” Florella told Hylial about her homeland.

“Two years ago, my father asked if I’d like to travel and see the world, so I joined a trans-oceanic fleet and came here. It took a long time on the way.” She recalled, running her hands through her golden hair.

“The elves in my hometown are unwilling to come out, but this can lead to isolation and backwardness, so every once in a while, young elves are sent out to travel.”

“Oh, by the way, I also practice the Emerald Honey affinity and love cultivating flowers. When I saw you at lunch, I felt a similar aura, so I was very happy and actively contacted you.” Florella spoke softly and gently, with an unconscious charm.

Fortunately, Hylial was deeply favored by the Glorious Moon and could resist this unconscious charm, remaining unaffected.

Despite her rather full figure and mature demeanor and appearance, her voice was surprisingly soft and gentle, which made Hylial wonder if Florella was well-liked and cherished by many.

The two spoke of their shared passion for gardening, sparking numerous conversations and becoming so engrossed they lost track of time.

By the time Hylial checked the time again, it was already midnight.

Four hours had flown by, and she was reluctant to end their conversation.

“It’s very late now, Florella.” Hylial had to gently remind her.

“Let’s stop here for today. We can continue our discussion tomorrow.” She stood up.

Hearing this, Florella also realized how late it was.

“Ah, I’m sorry, I completely lost track of time.” Florella apologized, clutching her skirt.

“No need to be so formal.” Even Hylial felt that this elf girl was too polite.

“Hmm, are you free tomorrow, Lia?” Florella looked at the maiden with anticipation, her light pink eyes like flowing, sparkling lake water, exceptionally captivating.

The girl shook her head slightly, not expecting this elf girl to be so persistent, but she indeed had nothing planned for tomorrow.

“I am free. What time do you wake up tomorrow, Florella?” Hylial wanted to sleep in a little longer.

“I can wake up at five in the morning to wait for Lia.” Her words made Hylial feel a faint sense of guilt, wondering if she should also get up earlier.

“No need to be so early, Florella. Sleep in a bit tomorrow. I’ll come find you at ten, and we can go downstairs for a walk and then have lunch.”

    “Okay, Lia~”

As they parted, Florella gently hugged the girl. That soft touch brought a faint, warm floral scent to Hylial.

Back in her room, Hylial remembered the Ice Brazier Flower she had left in the water bottle. The water in the bottle was now frozen solid.

She prepared a new flowerpot and soil, planted the Ice Brazier Flower in the soil, then watered it with a little Emerald Dew Water, combing the water pipe veins inside the flower to help it absorb the liquid. After that, she carefully guided it to grow a few roots and settle into the soil.

This should allow it to survive long-term, but she had no idea how to cultivate it further, as it was a naturally occurring extraordinary plant, unlike ordinary ones.

She decided to ask Florella tomorrow and then went to the bathroom to wash up.

Taking off her clothes, she stepped barefoot into the steaming hot water and slowly immersed herself. Hylial felt waves of warmth radiating from the water.

Ah, this is quite comfortable. She leaned back in the small bathtub, her eyes gently closed, relaxing her consciousness while gazing at the pristine white ceiling above.

After a brief nap of a few minutes, Hylial emerged from the water, dried herself with a towel, put on soft pajamas, and walked to the bedroom.

Sitting by her bed, she placed her notebook on the blanket and briefly recorded the day’s events and some points to note. Then, she turned off the bedside lamp, pulled up her blanket, and went to sleep.

    A restful night.

The next morning, the clock chime in the living room woke the girl. She opened the curtains and looked out the thick glass window. It was already light, but all she could see was a hazy mist, making her wonder where the camel might be now.

The window was completely sealed and could not be opened.

She then closed the curtains, returned to bed, snuggled back into the warm covers, and slept for another two hours before stretching and getting up.

It was almost nine o’clock; she needed to get ready to see Florella.

She combed her hair, washed up, changed into today’s white dress, tied the bow in her hair, fastened the collar, adjusted the ribbon at her waist, and then slipped on her small leather shoes. This outfit, prepared for her by Madame Faran, was a bit childish in style, making the already immature Hylial appear even younger and cuter.

Not long after leaving her room, Hylial saw Florella waving at her in the corridor. When she saw Hylial appear, the other girl playfully ran over, pulling up her skirt, clearly overjoyed.

This girl must have been waiting outside for a long time.

Holding Florella’s hand, the two girls chattered and laughed as they slowly descended the stairs.
