There are no Dark Elves in the main world!

Shen Ye thought for a while, then suddenly wiped his ring, put on the Cloak of Death’s Disguise, and transformed into a vampire.

“What are you doing?” The Great Skeleton asked curiously.

“If these people are working for Tianluo, then—who will receive them after they go to hell?” Shen Ye said.

“What does that have to do with you pretending to be a vampire?” The Great Skeleton asked again.

“That Dark Elf who just died, died because she disobeyed her superior’s orders, right?” Shen Ye asked.

    “Yes.”

“That’s right—if they have an organization in hell, then her fate will be miserable after she goes to hell.”

“Definitely, people who don’t follow orders on the battlefield don’t end up well.”

    Shen Ye snapped his fingers:

    “Let’s poach someone.”

He activated “Gloomy Whisper” and spoke to the corpse on the ground:

    “Want to chat?”

The female Dark Elf opened her eyes.

“Vampire… did you summon me?” she asked hesitantly.

“I am Baxter—Anonymous Baxter.” Shen Ye said indifferently.

“Baxter?” The female Dark Elf asked, puzzled.

“Exactly, everyone thought I was dead, but I’m an expert in spatial magic and stealth, so I came here alive.” Shen Ye’s voice was deep.

“You… awakened me… for what?” the female Dark Elf asked.

“Join my side, anyway, you’ve already been abandoned by Tianluo’s team—I have someone in hell, as long as you join, I’ll have my people protect you.” Shen Ye said.

“Protect me?” The female Dark Elf asked blankly.

“That’s right, hell is very dangerous—first tell me, which part of the first layer of hell did you go to just now?” Shen Ye asked.

“It seems to be called… Ten Thousand Bones Valley.” The female Dark Elf said.

    “Your name.”

    “Rosalia.”

    Shen Ye deactivated “Gloomy Whisper”.

The corpse slowly closed its eyes.

“Let’s go, let’s find her in hell!” He stood up, looking excited.

“Isn’t this a bit redundant? She would have to answer if you just asked.” The Great Skeleton said.

“You don’t understand, it’s always me acting alone, after a long time, I’ll lose credibility.” Shen Ye said.

He opened the door, stepped across, and arrived in hell.

    Hell.

    A vast and boundless plain.

Shen Ye pulled out a map.

—This was still the general’s map, very detailed.

Shen Ye quickly found the location of Ten Thousand Bones Valley.

“Killing one person in ten steps, traveling a thousand miles without leaving a trace!”

The ghost fire motorcycle roared to life with a familiar sound, transforming into a red streak, speeding towards the other side of the land.

    About half an hour later.

The motorcycle stopped steadily in front of a basin.

Looking around, there was an illusion—

It was like standing on a mountain, looking at a bustling city below.

    “It’s not small.”

    Shen Ye sighed.

“That’s right, it’s no smaller than Eternal Night City, the population is probably several million.” The Great Skeleton also said.

Shen Ye jumped down, flying all the way to a certain intersection before landing.

The streets were full of various undead souls, and all around were small buildings built into the terrain.

It was easy to imagine that the underground parts of these buildings must have been quite large.

Shen Ye saw a giant ape entering a bar, tottering down the steps leading downwards, and soon disappeared.

Shen Ye stood at the bustling intersection and casually grabbed someone to ask:

“Where are all the newly dead souls?”

The person glared fiercely at Shen Ye, about to make a move, but then realized Shen Ye had slipped him a handful of bone coins.

“Sir, they’re all at the arena.”

    He said with a smile.

    “Arena?”

“Yes, those with connections are released directly; those with strength can win their freedom with a fight; those with money can buy their way out.”

    “What if they have none?”

“Gladiators, they’re fed to beasts, that’s their fate. If they have some value, they can also be sold as slaves.”

    “Thanks.”

    Shen Ye strode forward.

The person looked at the handful of bone coins in his hand, and a hint of greed flashed in his eyes.

But when he looked up, he found that Shen Ye had already flown away.

“Damn, fifth level of the Dharma realm? Good thing I didn’t make a move!”

    The person rejoiced.

Shen Ye, however, sped up, completely disregarding attracting attention, and flew towards the arena with all his might.

    He had to be fast!

The female Dark Elf’s fate was probably not good.

    He had to save her.

At this moment, several dead souls, bound hand and foot, were just brought into the arena.

A bear-man stood on the stage, shouting loudly:

“Next, it’s feeding time for the beasts of hell.”

“These dead souls committed great sins when they were alive, so as soon as they came to hell, someone paid to have them killed!”

    “Now let’s release the Hellhound…”

Shen Ye floated in mid-air and looked around.

—Rosalia, the Dark Elf, was not there.

He landed, directly stopping in a VIP box.

A waiter immediately came forward and respectfully asked:

“How do I address you, Excellency?”

    “Baxter—Long Wu Baxter.”

A commotion arose in the audience.

    “It’s the Baxter brothers.”

    “Is it really him?”

“I’ve heard of their deeds… don’t vampires feel uncomfortable being so passionate?”

“Anyway, these people should be the saints of hell.”

    People talked amongst themselves.

The waiter became even more respectful:

“Mr. Long Wu, how may we help you?”

“I want to buy a person.” Shen Ye said.

“Normally, slave trading requires verification of funds, but you come from such a famous family, so this step is waived—please follow me.”

The waiter led Shen Ye away from the VIP box, passing through many rooms, and constantly descending deeper underground.

    Finally.

They arrived at a place similar to an auction house.

“Mr. Long Wu, do you want to choose a slave, or do you already have a preferred target?” The waiter asked.

“Rosalia, the Dark Elf.” Shen Ye said.

“Let me check the roster—ah, found her, she’s number seventeen, please wait a moment.” The waiter said.

Shen Ye actually found a seat and sat down, quietly waiting for Rosalia to appear.

    It was strange, however.

There were no such slave trades elsewhere.

Including General Taswell, who only recruited guards and scouts, and those who didn’t meet the requirements could find work in the Bone Fields.

But here, souls could be traded!

As Shen Ye pondered, the slaves on the stage were bought one after another.

    Rosalia was soon brought up.

    The host began:

“This is a Dark Elf assassin. When she was alive, she did not serve her master wholeheartedly, so after death, she must pay the price!”

“She has been stripped of her freedom, her power completely shackled, and she can only remain in hell as an ordinary Dark Elf.”

“If no one buys her, her fate will be to be eaten by beasts!”

“Of course, I suspect the organization she belonged to will take her in, using her suffering as a negative example for others!”

“Starting bid is 30 bone coins.”

    “Bidding begins!”

    The host stepped aside.

Rosalia listened quietly to the introduction, despair flashing in her eyes.

    Below the stage.

Many people were interested in the Dark Elf.

But Shen Ye was too generous with his bids, and he didn’t fear anyone’s gaze.

He just kept raising the price! Raising the price! And raising it again!

As soon as anyone raised a hand, he immediately raised his hand, and the host excitedly shouted a new bid on stage.

    After a few rounds.

    Finally.

The price of Rosalia had surpassed the total value of at least ten Dark Elves.

Everyone had lost the desire to bid.

A person in the front row stood up, walked to Shen Ye’s side, and sat down, saying softly:

“Give us some face, we have a use for this Dark Elf.”

Shen Ye smiled: “Then you should pay up. I love it when people compete with me.”

“Do you still want to hang around here?” The person stared at him and asked.

“Are you in charge here?” Shen Ye asked.

“Not exactly—but outside the arena, in the entire Ten Thousand Bones Valley, at least a tenth of the territory listens to me.” The person said proudly.

Shen Ye motioned to the waiter beside him.

    “Mr. Baxter?” The waiter asked.

“Can you kill people at an auction?” Shen Ye asked.

“No, sir,” the waiter said sternly, “that would be an act of hostility towards the arena, and we would definitely deal with the person who made the move.”

“Excellent, do you handle other services here?” Shen Ye asked.

“Yes, we do.” The waiter said respectfully.

“After the auction, kill this person for me, and I’ll pay you a hundred times the price.” Shen Ye said.

“He’s a guest of this auction… that’s a bit against the rules.” The waiter said.

“A hundred times.” Shen Ye said indifferently.

The waiter smiled and whispered: “That requires verification of funds, Mr. Baxter.”

“No problem, do it immediately after the auction.” Shen Ye said.

The waiter nodded, saying nothing more.

That person stared fixedly at Shen Ye.

Shen Ye didn’t look at him, just said calmly:

“Either get out, or keep bidding against me.”

“If you keep staring at me, I’ll buy your entire family’s lives as well.”
