Eren Valley is one of the core landmarks in Gu Long’s Wuxia novel, *Juedai Shuangjiao* (The Proud Twins).

It is both a Forbidden Land famous throughout the Jianghu, the place where the protagonist Little Fish grew up, and the dwelling of five core members of the ‘Ten Great Evildoers,’ filled with danger and mystery.

Eren Valley is hidden deep in a basin surrounded by mountains, formed by the embrace of four great peaks, exuding an overall aura of gloom and shadow.

The valley entrance is carved with the strange inscription: ‘Entering the Valley is Like Ascending Heaven; Those Who Come, Walk This Way.’ The mountain path leading in is rugged and difficult, and the valley floor is littered with traps.

Yu Xian and Zhang Sanniang stopped temporarily upon arriving outside Eren Valley.
