Chapter Index

“Ver DeClan, fifth-year male head student of Mirdis Intermediate Academy in Drake City, proficient in swordsmanship, boxing, literature, arithmetic, history, geography, military strategy, and sports. Who would like to discuss these with me?” Little Ver was the first to take the stage, his tone very calm, but his words were quite irritating.

Then three junior warriors simultaneously jumped out, looked at each other, and all withdrew at the same time, making the scene very awkward. Little Ver smiled slightly: “It seems my friends from Mabuster County are all eager. In that case, you can all come at once.”

“What?!” The three junior warriors couldn’t believe their ears. What had they just heard? This boy, who was even younger than them, was actually telling three official warriors to attack him together? Was this bastard looking down on them?

Then, the three warriors really did attack together, but they couldn’t even make Little Ver retreat a single step. He defeated them one by one within ten moves, leaving them clutching their stomachs and groaning on the ground.

Mabuster County was in an uproar, but they quickly learned his information: Lord Ver DeClan, fourteen years old, male head student of Mirdis Intermediate Academy, and an Intermediate Knight. The fact that he hadn’t used his fighting qi was already considered holding back.

According to their information, this guy was definitely a genius. He had achieved his current level after just over a year of knight training. The key was that he excelled in all subjects, passing with full marks in over eighty percent of them.

    What a monster!

Next, Little Ver won in archery. His elven hunter talent was incredibly effective. With three consecutive shots, each arrow hit the bullseye, and his speed, power, and accuracy made his opponent surrender directly.

For the third round, Mabuster County chose history. The self-proclaimed clever Mabuster County youth chose ancient history, and was then thoroughly defeated. Before Little Ver stepped down, he smiled faintly: “I learned history from Professor Weasel. He is a great sage, recognized by five nations as a great sage, proficient in ancient languages and ancient history. You are quite far behind.”

Upon hearing this, the student’s Frustration mood vanished. He had lost to a student of a great sage, so there was nothing to be disheartened about.

Seeing Little Ver step down, the youths from Mabuster County immediately perked up. Then Lilith walked steadily onto the stage: “Lilith Kendall, fifth-year female head student of Mirdis Intermediate Academy in Drake City, proficient in swordsmanship, literature, arithmetic, history, geography, military strategy, and sports. Who would like to discuss these with me?”

Aside from boxing, which she deemed unworthy and cast aside, her other subjects were exactly the same as Little Ver’s.

Although angry, the youths from Mabuster County quickly studied Lilith’s information before beginning their challenges.

The genius girl of the Kendall family,

She became a junior knight at thirteen and a half, is now fourteen, was the head student of the former Nobili Noble Academy, and later transferred to Mirdis Intermediate Academy. Rumor has it that she is engaged to Ver DeClan, and is the designated heir to the title by Jasmine, the Rose family’s female protagonist.

Oh my, a complete winner in life, a super rich and beautiful woman!

They could gang up on Little Ver, but facing a delicate beauty, they had to at least save some face. So, two knights stepped forward one by one for a knightly duel. Both junior knights each lasted ten moves before being defeated by Lilith using basic sword techniques.

They clearly felt that their opponent’s speed and strength were similar to their own, so why did they lose so completely and thoroughly when using advanced swordsmanship? The two junior knights were speechless; this was too exaggerated.

Following this, two beautiful girls from Mabuster County came up to compete with Lilith in flower arrangement and painting. Lilith won one and drew one, finally breaking Mabuster County’s losing streak.

However, the next matches were even more brutal. After Lilith stepped down, Ver DeClan came up again. The two had agreed to take turns crushing their opponents, three rounds each. Well, because Little Ver had fought three opponents in his first round, Lilith also counted two junior knights as one round.

Facing Ver DeClan, these youths from Mabuster County learned what it meant to be powerless. They truly couldn’t compare; it was an all-encompassing crushing.

Lilith, who had intentionally conceded a round, did not hold back in the subsequent matches. As a result, Drake City County ultimately won the first Intermediate Academy Student Competition between Mabuster County and Drake City County with a score of twenty-nine wins and one draw.

“We’ll be back next year!” A junior knight looked at Little Ver indignantly. This defeat was too humiliating, making them lose a lot of face.

“The little girl you met at the Youth Activity Center yesterday is a recognized sister of mine. I plan to send her to Mirdis Intermediate Academy in the second half of this year.” Little Ver’s words made the young boy suddenly recall the scene of being brutally suppressed by that little girl last night, and he couldn’t help but shiver.

The junior knight shivered, then forced himself to calm down and said, “I’m already in sixth grade this year. This time next year, I will represent Mabuster Senior Academy to seek guidance!”

“I’ll be waiting. I’m in fifth grade this year, with excellent grades in all subjects, so I’ve been specially allowed to take this year’s Drake Senior Academy assessment. This time next year, on this very stage, I’ll be waiting for you.” Little Ver’s words were like a curse, heavily striking the hearts of the two junior knights and three junior warriors. This was the rhythm of being suppressed by him until adulthood!

Upon hearing this, Earl Bordeaux suppressed his laughter, while silently mourning for the students of Mabuster County for three seconds. He hoped they could rally, otherwise Lord Ver DeClan’s sin would be great, directly suppressing an entire generation of a city.

Fortunately, Drake City also had Miss Lilith Kendall to counterbalance him, otherwise it would have been a situation where one person dominated. However, Lord Ver DeClan was very clever; not only did he know how to hide his true abilities, but he also thought of a way to cultivate a shield. Swallow, the junior warrior, and Angor, the junior knight, were both personally trained by the two of them, and could be considered excellent young talents. Unfortunately, they were still far from comparable to these two prodigies.

Thinking of Swallow and Angor, Earl Bordeaux also felt a bit emotional, because the little girl Swallow was not an ordinary person either, but a bloodline awakened, one of the members of the All-Purpose Shop. Her growth and bloodline awakening were not unrelated. Bloodline awakened individuals generally cannot hold high positions, which was a pity for the girl Swallow.

As for Angor, he was a typical example of someone whose physical reactions were faster than his brain. Although he had grown a lot this year, his aptitude limited his future achievements. However, such people were relatively easy to control. The city hall was out of the question, but he could have a place in the city defense army, as he was already familiar with the people there.

Should he give them more responsibilities? According to his intelligence, these two youngsters seemed to have great potential as teachers. The strength of the All-Purpose Shop had been significantly boosted by them. If Nicole’s joining and Jasmine’s promotion were included, the current All-Purpose Shop was indeed much stronger than a year ago, at least double.

Half a month after the departure of the Mabuster County group, the Intermediate Academy Genius Training Class, initiated by the Municipal Education Department, was established. This training class gathered all the head students from intermediate schools, with over a dozen outstanding students from Drake Senior Academy serving as instructors, and Ver DeClan and Lilith Kendall overseeing all affairs.
