Chapter Index

“Who is ringing the bell?” Even though he was far away, Qin Ming still heard the bell ringing in the middle of the night, as if it were booming in his heart.

He looked up and saw purple light surging at the horizon, along with other expanding halos, all comparable to the earlier collapse of the blue clouds, which was quite frightening.

He whispered, “Brother Rag, quickly absorb the divinity in the pool; we can’t stay here any longer!”

Qin Ming looked up and saw a large black rat appear at the end of the street in the thick fog, followed by a group of Yin Shen Wu Juejue, rushing towards him quickly.

Outside the divine city, far away, Li Qingyun was practically “longing to see what was happening.” Looking at the group of little demons in the city, he rubbed his hands together, sighed, and then glared menacingly at several old men.

“You lot are so immoral!” he said angrily.

He was fortunate enough to encounter the “divine city” descending upon this place, but several shady old men appeared at the same time and prevented him from bringing Qin Ming into the city.

Several old guys told him that it wasn’t their turn yet; first it would be a group of “youngsters,” then the middle-aged and younger generations, and then it would be their turn.

In a short while, Li Qingyun figured out that the old guys came from different lineages and were all shameless. They had all sneaked over here, anticipating that the Divine City might appear in this area, and all wanted to break the rules and sneak into the city.

As a result, they discovered each other, which was awkward. Neither of them trusted the other, fearing that someone would inform on them. In the end, they checked each other and ended up following the rules together.

They saw Li Qingyun just as he fell from the sky.

The man thought to himself, “That old bastard is too ruthless. In order to save time, he actually dared to cross the night sky during the battle against the gods. We must stop him.”

Therefore, Li Qingyun, though filled with resentment and drooling over the Divine City, had no way of going there.

The old men ignored the boy who had fainted on the ground and carried Li Qingyun away, taking his mount with them as well.

“You guys are shameless! Two of you are actually acquaintances of mine. Who are you trying to fool by wearing masks?!” Li Qingyun, who had traveled with Shuanglu and had a wide circle of friends, pointed at two old guys.

In the divine city, beside the blue fire spring, Qin Ming stood amidst a scene of devastation: black rat pelts, silver fox tails… Now, of the five immortals in the mortal realm, aside from the giant snake, he had slaughtered many of the other four species.

“You’re so blind. It would be so much better if we could just live in peace. You think you can kill me just because you have a lot of demons and you’re powerful…” Qin Ming muttered to himself, holding the mutton-fat jade iron knife.

Despite saying that, he was very serious and on high alert. Even with the Jade Iron Knife that could suppress evil spirits in his hand, he dared not be careless in the slightest.

As more and more evil spirits entered the city, their shadowy forms causing a commotion that shook the entire region. Once they had accumulated enough “victories,” almost no more strange beings caused trouble, and for the time being, they lived in peace.

“Why isn’t this divinity as effective as I imagined? Strange!” A black tiger spirit spoke from the distant mountains.

It’s not that their physical bodies can’t enter, but rather that their spirits can leave their bodies faster, traversing the night sky and arriving here immediately to seize divine creation.

Qin Ming also pretended to be one of them, putting his bow and arrows and knife into the pot to nourish them, and even secretly placing his pendant inside.

The most noticeable effect was achieved with the treasure bow obtained from the Silver Sun Hedgehog of the Divine Plains; it was bright and shimmered with a dazzling silver light.

The mutton fat jade iron and the jade iron arrow had some effect, but it wasn’t very obvious. When Meng Xinghai helped Qin Ming refine them, he had engraved some runes using esoteric methods, but he was not a professional and Qin Ming had never refined them before.

As for the snow-white sword-shaped pendant, it didn’t react at all. This was because Meng Xinghai couldn’t even inscribe it with a rune; the exotic metal material was too unique.

A gigantic giant appeared, traversing the heavens, heading straight for the City of Gods.

Qin Ming’s pupils contracted as he saw a familiar face. The first person to catch his eye was Li Qingxu, standing on the back of the first giant goblin, holding a shimmering purple bamboo staff.

Because his master, Cao Ganqiu, was acting on behalf of the Pure Land of the Outer World, he was naturally brought along to obtain a significant opportunity, perhaps even…

They hoped to use this opportunity to become “immortals” like Cui Chonghe and Li Qingyue.

“Wang Caiwei, Zheng Maoze, Zeng Yuan, Lu Zhenyi…” Qin Ming saw some familiar faces, wondering if Li Qingyue would appear. Time was of the essence, and he sighed inwardly, realizing he couldn’t reap all the benefits.

However, he glanced at the fire spring pool; its deep blue color had faded considerably, and its divine essence had diminished by at least 60%. He felt he shouldn’t be too greedy and should stop now. He could simply observe the unfolding events; he had already reaped the benefits.

    Big head.

Then, Qin Ming suddenly discovered that this area was truly in turmoil, with thick black fog billowing out and almost obscuring all the buildings.

He sensed something, and it was caused by that tattered cloth again. Qin Ming immediately realized that it had changed once more. “What’s going on? Why is it fogging up!”

Could it be… that the gods have not yet fallen and are enraged, and are going to blame us?! Some of the spirits were terrified, their consciousness trembling.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Qin Ming took out the tattered cloth. When it was removed from the fire spring, it returned to its dull state and looked ordinary, but it was no longer as lifeless as before. Now it was in a “restrained” state.

It did indeed change a bit, becoming the size of two palms, and the incomplete golden sun was now more visible.

Moreover, on the opposite side, a black mist area appeared on the other edge, seemingly capable of obscuring the sky and the sun. It was the expansion of this black and strange gold woven pattern that caused the thick black mist to rise from this place.

Qin Ming carefully put it away, feeling quite satisfied; this was truly an unexpected delight!

The material of this cloth is no less than that of the near-divine Eight Trigrams Furnace, and its origins are intriguing. He cannot test it now, but it must have some wonderful use.

Qin Ming believed that the tattered cloth was lifeless back then, and the young man who could vaporize it probably didn’t know its true nature and hadn’t discovered its inherent value.

It’s unclear whether the young man brought this tattered cloth from the outer Yang Land or found it in the underground rift valley of Black and White Mountain.

After all, that young man had spent several days causing trouble at the foot of Black and White Mountain, and had even set up an altar.

Qin Ming glanced down; the fire spring’s color had faded somewhat, but thankfully it wasn’t completely watery; a blue light still flowed within it. He quietly left, entering a building where he carefully packed his bow and arrows and longsword, slung them over his shoulder, and made no plans to use them for the time being.

    It has been used.

His knuckles cracked, his face changed, and he looked different than before. This transformation was enough to fool a group of young disciples.

Li Qingxu and his men quickly entered the city and drove away a group of strange creatures, killing anyone who dared to disobey.

“Tang Xumi, Hu Tingwen, you really came too. I’m still missing one chapter of the Divine Ape Force!” Qin Ming didn’t walk towards them, but approached another group of people.

Among the group of esoteric Buddhists, he also discovered Qian Zhuohan, who was Zhuo Ya’s cousin, and they had once fought a decisive battle outside Chixia City, so they became acquainted through a fight. “Old Yu!” Qin Ming greeted him.

Yu Zhuohan is highly recognizable, with a strong and powerful physique, and his silver hair that falls to his shoulders, each strand glistening. His facial features are very three-dimensional.

“Old Yu?!” Yu Zhuohan noticed someone waving at him and calling him that. He immediately strode over, intending to slap the kid.

How old is he? Not even seventeen yet!

“Brother, it’s me.” Qin Ming quickly sent a telepathic message, wanting to join their team. Overall, he wanted to “go with the flow” and avoid attracting attention.

From now on, he can watch the battles and bloodshed unfold with detachment, no matter what happens.

“How could it be you?” After a brief exchange in secret, Yu Zhuohan was slightly surprised. Soon, Qin Ming learned the “truth”.

The various factions were hunting down an insect, interrupting its process of becoming a god.

This divine city and the surrounding area were constructed from its essence, energy, and spirit, originally intended to merge and unify with the true Crimson Cloud City, but this was thwarted. (Search for “秀亨” in the book.)

Suddenly, the world trembled violently, and the distant sky turned blue.

A worm, covered in wounds, unleashed a burst of spiritual light that shattered the clouds. Roaring, it charged towards this place from the horizon. In an instant, a blazing sun blocked its path, revealing a six-tusked old elephant inside. With a flick of its trunk, the elephant shattered the clouds and pulled the worm back.

Qin Ming was shocked. What kind of power was this? It was earth-shattering!

Even the alien insects that had the potential to become gods couldn’t match the strength of the old elephant.

That old elephant definitely didn’t have false teeth, and it even had a pair of dragon horns on its head. This should be a six-tusked dragon elephant. When Qin Ming learned from Yu Zhuohan that “four” was out of the sky and that one of the great suns in the hunting team was actually Li Qingxu’s master, Cao Ganqiu, he became even quieter.

This old fellow is extremely protective of his own, often disregarding his own status to get involved; even the peerless overlord met a tragic end at his hands. “If you’re with us and we need to fight, will you use the methods of the New Life Path?” Yu Zhuohan asked secretly.

“I also know a little about the methods of the esoteric sects,” Qin Ming said, as water mist surged up, and then he unleashed the Wind and Thunder Force, with lightning flashing nearby.

“When did you learn this?” Yu Zhuohan was dumbfounded. As a young disciple, he really couldn’t figure out what kind of method this was.

“That old man has arrived too.” Qin Ming noticed that in the distant sun, there was a tall old man, who was Meng Xinghai’s grand-uncle. He had been fishing alone in the abyss for a hundred years, which put him at ease.

“Do you know him?” Yu Zhuohan asked.

“Yes, he’s the one who taught me how to improve my divine wisdom.” Qin Ming wasn’t exactly lying.

Yu Zhuohan told him that many of the esoteric Buddhist disciples who came this time came from the lineage of that senior disciple, and that conflicts had broken out among the young disciples, and a fight had already broken out.

Qin Ming was also seeing this for the first time. The conflict between the esoteric sect and the people from the otherworld was quite spectacular and a sight to behold.

    Then, the aliens also arrived.

Qin Ming not only discovered Zi Dian Lu, but also saw the Yu Que from Black and White Mountain who kept shouting that it wanted to follow him. This guy…

That’s incredibly cunning! It managed to join the ranks of the outcasts, and it’s quite eloquent and doing remarkably well! Even the Talking Sparrow and the Myna Bird, the personal servants of the Purple Lightning Beast, follow its lead.

With a deafening roar, the four-tusked white elephant in the alien group joined the battle, vying for the divine power in the fire spring pool.

A chaotic battle broke out here!

In the distant night sky, “five suns stretch across the sky, too bright to look at directly. Among them, one of the blazing suns is a giant sun, which is close to the boundary of the gods, tearing the night sky apart from the ground and breaking apart the clouds.”

Even a creature as powerful as this, a “great being” in the eyes of scarecrows and giant snakes, has become prey for others and has been severely injured.

It is no longer in a state of flesh and blood, but a divine form condensed from the light of consciousness, as bright as a blazing sun, illuminating the world above and below.

“You have quite the audacity to want to subdue the mountains and rivers of ‘Crimson Cloud City.’ You must have heard the legends of godlike beings appearing here during the Great Wilderness Expansion, right?”

Under the blazing sun, an old man with a bald head spoke. He was Meng Xinghai’s uncle, tall and with a ruddy complexion.

“The hatred of those who obstruct my path is irreconcilable!” Yu roared, completely losing contact with the divine city, its body blazing with blue light.

Amidst the blazing silver sun, a woman’s clear, cold voice rang out: “If I don’t stop you, do you expect me to let you swallow Crimson Cloud City and all the surrounding villages and towns?”

“When one insect falls, everyone can eat their fill, ha…\nIn the midst of a crimson sun, an old man with white hair and beard laughed loudly and domineeringly, holding a bell in his hand, surrounded by purple aura.”

He is Li Qingxu’s master, Cao Ganqiu, a very famous figure in the Pure Land of the Immortals!

He gave a slight tremor; in the instant of the fog, the purple bell emitted a tremendous sound, more terrifying than thunder, resounding throughout the heavens and earth. The bell waves carried terrifying patterns, like a celestial sword sweeping across the night sky.

    “ah”

The giant butterfly hummed silently, as if it were cast from blue “exotic gold,” solid and indestructible. It actually withstood the sweeping purple bell waves.

However, it was still injured after all. In the blazing blue sun, some cracks appeared on its hundred-legged body, from which piercing blue “divine blood” flowed.

Without a doubt, apart from the weapons, the five suns in the sky were all formed from the manifestation of consciousness.

“Cao Yuqiu, I will turn you into Cao Banqiu!” Da Yu said in a cold voice, emitting a huge cloud of light and mist that instantly shook the heavens and the earth. All living beings in the land below trembled and wanted to prostrate themselves on the ground.

It traversed the night sky like a blue lightning bolt, causing all the clouds to explode!

Cao Ganqiu laughed loudly. Although he was an old man with white hair, he was extremely flamboyant and domineering. He directly threw the weapon in his hand.

In an instant, the bell, bathed in a blazing purple glow, dispelled the night mist and pierced the heavens, its light growing ever larger and more magnificent.

The long, drawn-out chimes were enough to suppress the thunderous sound, and they headed towards the divine insect. At the same time, three other great suns appeared across the sky, jointly suppressing the blue one.

    (There’s more to come!)
